I guess that srt4930 is supposed to have the rj45 port for ethernet and thus if u see one without it, check system info to be sure that it is even a 4930 'cos it may be something else placed in a 4930 casing. "thank you"!

My 65cm has been acting up and I confirmed this when I connected my 90cm with a digisat lnb and everything popped up with signals dancing as high as 92 degrees. Thankx my man!

Am a newbie here and am having problems after updating my 4669XII with d latest software from wizkid my decoder went off and did not reboot after waiting for some minutes. so i had to switch it off and on but still to no avail. Pls nairalanders wat do i do as i live in delta state.

So sorry u've been bitten by the upgrade bug. Look for a 69xii box and transfer data from it to your box so's to revive it or search for the version which was in the box before you upgraded and upgrade again. But, my best bet is for you to do a box-to-box transfer. This is because your box may be a fake. Hope it helps

Unfortunately my 12092V127500 is all encrypted while the H flickers between 49 and 56 red on my 65cm dish (srt 69xii) while 12130H27500 has BET, E. Europe, Trace Urban, Nickelodeon europe, Kidsco, Daystar tv and ACBN

and then, kpam, dey go just cut am!

Just 5 channels: Trace, BET, two cartoon stations and a religious channel or am I missing others?

I hear tell from someone working with the Cameroon Radio and Television Corporation (CRTV) that the new Sat W3C at 16 degrees East is going to accomodate the channels on W3A when the later goes into extinction. Stand to be corrected.

@odiaero i think it could be as a result of one or two things. First, maybe someone paid wrongly into your smartcard, and you're now using his credit. Secondly, it could be that your account is still running beyond your expiry date and you are incurring a debit on it. Either way, the best thing to do is contact and inform them because you are going to have to pay for what you're viewing now eventually. DStv will never give you credit for free oooo.

why don't u consider this xperiment tyme? Keep aside ur monthly subscription fee and wait out DSTV. If at all one day they get to cut u out, get in contac with them and ask why. If they claim u have consumed what you haven't been paying for then pay, else, oga just carry go! Na fine awoof!

Except I am missing something, optima sports is using these two tps: 4117 and 4120 with the sr remaining 2222, isn't it? and for both tps I have the outcome Optima Sports, else, some one should help me out 'cos my strong 69xii is giving me only Optima Sports;

change your video pid to auto also your fec then scan

@King411: the parameters you sent are viryually the same with Optima Sports, but without sound because the apid for Optima sports is 4114. This doesn't solve the equation.

To those who have plucked 1Music on AB3, how do you do it? 'cos in as much as the sr remains 2222 whether the tp is 4117 or 4120, the result is the same: Optima Sports. so, please send us the APID and VPID for 1Music so that we can edit that for Optima Sports so as to enjoy it before it gets encrypted.

Has any one using Openbox s10 noticed that it has lower percentage quality compared to the strong stbs and that even though STV1 and STV2 have the same tp, sr and pol but when scanned only STV2 pops out?
If that's the case with everyone then fine, else, what steps should I take to handle this situation?

RTL9 on AB3 C-band. Blind scan for tp, sr and pol. It is DVB-S2. Using a colleague's system to log on to the forum so can't post those parameters.
