@Sensicut: Even if u blindscan or not no channel on that sat(s) d show champions league matches ALL the tyme. PSG v FCB na only feeds from SA on Sirius be showam.

Setoop: , i blindscan with 4922 , i get consat test transmition on 11293 H 45000 wt 90cm and the channels are from TV continental in Nigeria , but i did the same blindsearch wt 4969z and i couldn't get it , my question is this ; does it mean all the station are HD ? And could not be picked with decoder which is not HD ?

Thankx for releaving me of my worries by confirming the fact that those CONSAT channels are HD.

SULIEMAN3: try this 11006v/h29999 but am not sure about its polarity. Am not @ home now to comfirm.

Thankx Sulieman, but that tp brings out the ait bouquet instead of the test tranmission from Ghana.

Some channels on Amos 5 are transient, i.e they are here today and gone tomorrow. Examples are DD india and Ifilm.
They were there for a while but suddenly disappeared. If the channels you're talking about falls within this category,
even if you blindscan till tomorrow you may not be able to get them again irrespective of what type of reciever
you use for the blindscan.

Hello king George, long time. My problem with that set of channels is that I can't tell whether they are HD or not because while it was passing at my friends decoder which is a technosat HD decoder it will be picked up by t he blindscan at my end and even show green but with no channels popping up. Any which ways sha, thankx all d same. I hope they get tru dia test transmission phase and get stable.

Please house; when I blindscan my 4669xii on w3c/amos5 I never get to pick up some new channels which I captured at my friends place with his technosat HD decoder. Unfortunately when I checked his decoder again he had deleted it. The channels were not those of kktv nor infinity or ait. Blindscannig at my end does not bring it up. Any one with the tp and sr should help me out. Tnx in advance.

I got two dishes: 90cm facing w3c/amos5 and 65cm hooked unto multitv. How come OTA still succeeded in taking over my set up and gpt my decoder upgraded yesterday afternoon even though I don't have any of the dishes pointed to IS7/10?

Do a box-box firmware transfer to revive your box. use a 4669xii box o. Amen.

AES-Sonel (the Cameroonian electricity supply company) took light and when brought it back on immediately. My 4669xii restarted but the 4 dashes just kept on going in circles. I don't know if a box-to-box firmware transfer can correct the problem 'cos it isn't coming on. Any ideas?

Ameboperoo: ur Lnb should be 4-5 oclock. 4 frequency, use nwa beam of jsc or aradia.

Thankx guys. Total blackout in our area till this very evening of my getting online no gree us attempt to tackle Nilesat as we wanted to on Saturday. I am yet to get in contact with my friend to reschedule the research. Surely next Saturday wll be favorable if and only if power outage no come dabaru our plans.

lovala, these channels needs special reciever to track them. Don't think of tracking it let alone of tracking it. You will end up sweating under the sun without hunting the bird down.

Long time. Happy New year even though march is just around the corner. Please, what is the best skew for tracking Nilesat? A friend and I want to tackle the bird this Saturday and we'll be using my fuji prime focus lnb to do that. Regards.
P.S: we'll be using his 3m pan dish for that purpose.

Can the Redline work independently to pry open encrypted channels or does one need to use it in collaboration with another decoder like we did with avarter2?

Buying from strong outlets helps against picking up a fake box.

Just 3 ait channels are clearing here even though all are green with quality at 43 percent. R d rest HD?

hon1977: things are now starting to wek out ptv, algazeera news and sports, geo sports,saudi sport, mgm, kidsco, sabc1,2,3, mbc, zimbo, fashion 1 and all those christian channels for smeone who is not paying i can't complain.

What's the specialty of that box?

Some are asking if Multitv have changed sat and some say No that they have changed just their tp. although confusing it has been posted earlier when the changes took place that they'ved moved from astra 2b to astra 2f. But, since the position of the new satellite in its geostationary orbit still remains 28.8 degrees East, you don't have to move your dish. Just change only the tp from 12552 to 12522. Every other thing remains unchanged.

MultiTV and KKTV are dancing merengue (quality-wise)! So, the images are flickering like the side lights of a traficating lorry.

He is using a dongle. Most probably he built the dongle inside so u dont see it and go and report him. Dia a new small dongle dat accepts either glo, etisalat or airtel sim and u recharge it with about #300 credit a month. U dont need a second dish to hook up mbc (server).

Now he hooks u up to NNS7 and the dongle does the rest and from ur subscription, he recharges ur sim with #300 a month.

If your answer is yes, then you missed the mark 'cos the box was opened and neither dongle nor SIM card was found on it and the second aspect is how does he gain access to the Satellite to cut a client off if the client does pay up his monthly subscription?

osef: @ all, please is it that 1.8 cannot get cnn again?

Unlike before, tracking CNN on 20W requires a new learning curve on dish installation. My guess is that most people who still pick that sat with 1.8m prime focus dish close to the equator here in Sub Sahara africa are the ones with motorized dishes. To bag CNN, I think it'll be better you get yourself a +>3m dish and point it to either AB7, Nilesat or BADR. Else, sun go show u peper as u struggle sweating your pants off with your 1.8m.
Happy hunting though. MmHmm, lest I forget, you can go for pay tv as the last resort. Hi hi hi hi!!!!

KKTV just followed suit.

Use 3617R1167 (Hossana TV) or 3626R2000 (Oromia tv) to scan for Amos5 and then blindscan for Optima Sports. Its signal is very unstable and low (about 50percent). I did capture it on Friday last week in Bamenda a town about 7hours NW or where I live in Cameroon with a 1.8m dish. Best wishes of the season and a successful hunt.

Multitv just disappeared beyond the radder screen. KKtv doing fine though.

It ain't like I'm an avid fan, but 'zup with Nhyra tv on the multitv bouquet? Also, all the daarsat stuffs are green but dead as of now.
