As evident as is it, you narrated here, your experience with Buddhism, I will be happy to see your subsequent threads narrating your experience with Jewdaism, Islam, Hinduism, Zorastranism, Shinto, Peganism, etc. From one of your threads this year, I learnt you are back to Christianity and you are now a member of a Non-denominational Penticostal DENOMINATION where they "DON'T NEED CHURCH BUILDINGS" or a particular place of worship. Where members are free to worship anywhere whatsoever they choose. All these explains the reason why you are now attacking the catholics, the anglicans, all Protestant denominations and all the world religions you have praticed. As we can see today is for buddhism. Any reasonable human being can see that you are avoiding the truth. When we hail the people we love, we are honouring them, but when God Hailed Mary who He highly Loved Favored and "GRACED" (according to you) He is DISHONORING her. This is purely Illogical. The are many ways of honouring people. We can honour the people we love by respecting them, by thanking them, by praising them, by hailing, by blessing, by greeting, by showing them any form of respect. Mind you it is not only Catholics that honour Mary. Higher Church Anglicans and Moslems do honour Mary. I think your problem is in your understanding of the word "Honour". Don't you know how to answer just Yes or No to a simple question. Okay let me repeat it for you again. Since we can honour the people we love by Hailing them, Did God honour Mary when He HAILED her in His Word that was addressed to Mary through the angel Gabriel?. I will start with No2. We all know that there is only one way to God which is Jesus Christ. But there are many ways to Jesus Christ of which Mary is the most effective. The Saints are other ways to get to Christ because being in union with Christ they offer our payers like insence before Him and ofcause Mary is the greatest amongst them. Also the more holy ones amongst us are also ways to reach Christ. So if You can ask your eathly pastor to pray for you eathly success, what is wrong in asking my Heaven, Holy, Lovely Mother of Christ to pray for my Salvation. For question 1, With all SINCERITY, There is no place in the bible where it is literaly written that "Christians should even mention the name of the mother of Jesus" talk less of honoring her, but I will show you 5 places where mary was honourd in the bible. [1]. MARY WAS HONOURD BY GOD. (Lk1:28) "....Hail Mary, full of grace.,...". Remeber these were the "WORDS OF GOD" that were addressed to Mary through the angel. Now when you "HAIL" someone are you honouring that person?. YES. I WILL SHOW YOU THE NEXT ie [2](where mary was honour by the Holy spirit.) [3&4](two places where mary was honourd by Jesus) and [5](where Mary was honourd by a disciple of Christ). Who told you that Catholics Worship Mary?. Where did you get the information that we worship Mary?. Are these informations not coming from protestant sources?. Now this is one Big problem we have in christianity today. What type of information does a student get about medical practice if he/she gets information from a Mechanic instead of a Doctor?. Secondly, Sometimes I wonder how you reason, So two or three should just gather anywhere in the name of Christ. So two or three should just gather in a toilet, in a bar or in a market. So two or three should just gather in a brothel, how can they concentrate and pray to God while seing stripqers dancing, prosti.tutes going about nakee and unmarried people commiting motal sin?. So they should just gather anywhere like in the stadium, or just outside in the open air. Okay what if it starts raining or if the sun becomes too hot or if snow starts falling? Does'nt reason demand that the gathering should be in a confortable building called Church, where people can concentrate and worship God without any distraction. We Catholics started it first following the example of Jesus Christ, other Christian denominations copied from us. Our first gathering was between Our LORD Jesus Christ and "our first Twelve Bishops" on the night befor his death. That Night, Christ gave us THE MOST HOLY SACRAMENT. The main task b4 christians today is to work had for the convertion of the mixed multitude in our midst. There are a lot of non-christians in tbe church even preaching. Pls lets direct our efforts to tbe darkness in the church, lets convert the money doublers, miracle traders, spiritual war mercenaries, socerers, soothsayers. Witches&wizards, scammers, prostitues, thieves etc in the church. If we can convert 1% of these, many atheists will on their own change, dont 4get most atheists in nigeria are former baby christians who gets frustrated by the activities of this mixed multitude in the church.
