Just want to say thank you for all the help on this platform.

I got my visa in 3 days. I paid for priority last week Thursday and collected my passport today. I've been denied Visa to France (Lol) before. I got 2 years Visa . I was sponsored by my dad (as a birthday present) even though I currently work and have over 10,000 GBP in my salary savings account.

What I did was to attach my proof of employment,pay slip, salary statement, ID card and then my father wrote a letter of financial support which I got notarized.

I also explained that I would like to travel now since uk is gradually easing off restrictions and that I would quarantine for 5 days with the test to release option.

Was the letter of financial support the only document your father provided?

I booked for 13days. 10days included for the mandatory Quarantine but I am paying for the Test to Release which makes me leave Quarantine after 5days. So give & take, I will have roughly 7-8days to move around after d result comes out on the 6th day.
The outcome?? I got a 6months Standard Visitor Visa

What was your salary, monthly expenses and how much did you budget to spend on your trip? I'm asking because we all know that they frown at applicants spending more than twice their monthly disposable income on a trip. And also, did you book hotel or hostel accommodation?

Finally arrived UK 18th April through BA airline.
Experience at the MMA was quite intense despite having all required documents , upon arrival at Heathrow was also intense as the immigration officers did their part. In the end it ended well already recieved my test kit,conducted my day 2 test. I look forward to stepping out soon. Weather quite cold but still cool.

Good day my people. Pls anyone with UK embassy's contact where i can send complain to. There was a mistake on lil brother's refusal. The ECO had mistakenly calculated his monthly spending in Ghana's currency and had stated an amount different from what was stated on his form and concluded that the transaction on his bank statement is inaccurate with what he stated on his visa form.

Pls anyone with their complain unit contact should help me.

They said tourist centers not opened, I honestly do not have anyone to invite me, maybe I ll just apply later when they open.

See scam!! Why would they continue to accept applications from intending tourists knowing fully well that tourist attractions are not opened at the moment in the UK? You just have to complain about this decision because it's totally unacceptable.

Do you have sufficient funds and did you enter your correct card details? If yes, you may need a paga account to make the payment process seamless. Creating a paga account doesn't take time and it can be done from the comfort of your bedroom.

I was up all night trying to pay for my children's applications with my GTBANK card. The first went smoothly but the other two is different. I even tried using Stanbic. And I already booked the first appointment , hoping to link the others.

It might have been as a result of network error since the first payment was successful. You have to keep trying.

No, you don't need a paga account to use that option. The option to pay using a paga account is different.

On the payment page, click on paga verve.. Then select pay by card, after that you should be able to make the payment using your bank card because the currency would have been converted to naira.. Input your card details and that will be it.

Hey people. Thanks to everyone who gave advice before I applied and encouraged me when I was freaking out lol. My passport just arrived today with 5 years visitors visa.

Duration and of planned visit — 1 month (I explained that 2 weeks was for quarantine)
Biometrics date — 8th October, Ikeja.
TLS email that my passport has been picked up by DHL — 2nd November.
Passport delivered to my house — 4th November

Documents I used:
Letter of admission.

Letter from my university confirming I’m still a student (I took some time off so I’ve spent longer than the years stated in my admission letter).

School ID.

Copy of my student visa expiring summer 2021 although there’s also a stamp in my passport to prove this.

Invitation letter from my friend who is a UK citizen stating where they work.

My friend’s passport data page.

First degree certificate to prove we became friends when we attended the same university.

I am staying with my friend for this trip so no hotel reservation.

6 month statement — 2.6M (My monthly upkeep money from my father accumulated cos I was in Nigeria for the lockdown and wasn’t paying bills at school. I explained this in my cover letter and the statement transactions show my dad’s name as the depositor each month and reason for deposit).

Birth certificate — I guess to prove it’s my dad who sends me monthly upkeep money.

I have just finished 14 days quarantine and nobody called me to ask if am indoor.

yesterday, a student was decieved by his friends to go out only for the police to check him up at home and was not found.

he is awaiting deportation and he has being banned from UK for 3 years.

Another person was called and she did not picked the calls, she was checked up at home and she was so lucky she was home.

one of my friend too told me quarantine does not matter but I had ears and I listen.

Hey people! Back again cos I’m about to start freaking out. So I called UKVI this morning to ask if there’s any reason my application is taking so long (today being the 17th working day) and they told me a decision has already been made on my application and that my passport is back with TLS contact. However I didn’t receive any email from UKVI since biometrics day to say if I got the visa or not. And I’m not sure why TLS hasn’t emailed me about my passport. I paid for courier service so they’ll bring it to me. My question now is: has anyone experienced this before and should I be expecting a refusal letter with my passport?

I can confidently say congratulations to you because from the information you got from UKVI, your visa has been approved. The current trend is for refusal letter to be sent via email to an applicant even before such an applicant receives passport collection mail from TLS. Since they told you that a decision has been made on your application without you receiving any refusal letter. Your visa has been approved. Congratulations once again. I just did my own yesterday with docTap via John dell and croydem in Oxford street.139 pounds ������. So expensive and my flight is scheduled for tomorrow at 6pm. I do hope I can the result latest By morning of tomorrow. The result is suppose to come out within 70 hours of the test
