Jakumo: This theory is the most likely scenario. Anyone who sniffs ANY powdered drug up their nose, be that coke, meth, speed, heroin or baking soda, is playing Russian Roulette with their life, and is thereby GREATLY increasing the odds of serious debilitation, or death, somewhere along that accursed road of the lost.
Cocaine is a potentially LETHAL drug that can kill a first-time user on the first ever dose, just as easily as it could kill a chronic cocaine addict, literally at ANY moment during the course of their cocaine-ingesting "career". Cocaine, depending on the purity and dosage, can cause electrical storms in the human brain, leading to strokes or heart attacks that very often prove fatal. The multiplicity of other serious medical and psychological injuries sustained by cocaine users, are all a matter of public record.
Those who interact with Dapo Abiodun's sons in London do attest that the boys are fond of their top-quality connoisseur-grade marijuana, so it is sad to hear that one of that same clan was ignorant and reckless enough to move from the comparatively safe and often medically beneficial consumption of cannabis, into the perilous realm of cocaine abuse, which may well have led, inexorably, to the tragedy being reported in the news today. Exactly my thoughts! It maybe substance abuse or ingestion of dangerously spiked substances. |

An autopsy is required to shed light on these deaths. Could it be due to excessive as Alcohol or drugs? If it's drugs, maybe it was spiked with something lethal on purpose or in error. That's why the autopsy result should be released fast to prevent further sad deaths. |

From my 3rd year on campus, I started counting the days to graduation, not realizing it is a different and tough world out there, though we were warned by some Alumni of the University who came to give us some prep talk. We did not take the Alumni speakers seriously, in our usual youthful presumptuous way, but now we know better. |

hanassholesolo: My personal take on the LA Shooting is that on some level, this was pulled off as an occult ritual psy-ops. All the subtle symbols and numbers just don't strike me as random coincidences. Pyramid, sphinx, and an obelisk in direct line with landscaping across the street that looks like a womb when viewed from above. Shots came from the 32nd floor according to the official narrative. There are 32 recognized degrees in Freemasonry, with the 33rd Degree being an honorary one bestowed on a very select few. Mandalay Bay. Mandalay is the name of a very prominent lodge at the infamous Bohemian Grove gathering attended yearly by the Elite. The concert venue was between the womb shaped landscaping and the pyramid, sphinx, and obelisk. The concert venue was the sacrificial altar. Mehn, this is very deep!!! Are you a Mason? What is the meaning of your username? I am very curious. |

Hello SEUN
Sept 18, 2017 i was banned for reporting a developing story almost immediately it happened
The link below for your kind reference:
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/09/lagos-market-leader-disowns-clash-killed-trader/ http://www.informationng.com/2017/09/pandemonium-lagos-suya-seller-killed-laughing-traditional-rulers-son.html
You see, i was not pained about the ban, but more concerned about the situation that lead to it.
Omenka literally called Mynnd44 to ban me for opening a thread on a developing story without picture, how on earth could you take pictures when a man was slaughtered like a goat just few minutes after noon in broad day light? Surely the attackers are just over confident that nothing would happen and anyone could easily be a victim as the crowd was no match to restore order.
It is very disheartening, that mynnd44 whom i do not see to have any iota of respect for his office as a moderator take sides with forum members and ban at will any one perceived to be a non conformist.
What is my grouse with Omenka, simply because i told him the bridge to his village is broken and he would have to spend the next 10years Christmas in Lagos, and truly the bridge is broken i didnt break, it wasnt me, see the link below: https://www.nairaland.com/4030039/makurdi-lafia-road-collapses-photos
Seun, please spend so money to educate your mods, if you have been doing this already, please fire the un-educatable ones with the speed of light. Otherwise they turn Niaraland into that Television network in Africa..... Largest outreach in Africa but zero content You funny die. So the bridge to Omenka's hometown is truly broken. Lol. Na canoe the man go use cross. |

Guys chill, abeg. I feel for her. I watched her, during her secondary school days, as a little girl, act in a soap opera that was being shown on TV then, and still watch her movies as a full grown woman. I feel that this her over-exposure to the social media could just be an inner cry for help, having confessed that she was a bit depressed early last month. I hope the psychologists and mental health therapists can help her out now that it really matters. |
Culture › Re: Thread For Igbos by lozanni(m): 3:53pm On Oct 01, 2017 |
Develpeast: The development of the eastern region has been stagnant to say the least since the last 47 years to say the least, with some states retrogressing while some states refusing to expose the true state of the economy of the east. We are faced with huge numbers of our young adults and adolescents leaving the region enmasse to different parts of the country for better opportunities. Some of them who schooled in the east do not waste time but carry their bags with them as soon as they finish their final papers to leave the states.
What is the major amenities or social infrastructure that the region is missing that makes it seemingly impossible for young igbos to stay back in the region? Do we have any programme or plan to make those things available in the region? If they have, which state has started it? You have listed some good points here. Some of the major amenities lacking in the East are : 1. Employment opportunities for graduates. You find out that most banks and multi-national firms are based in Lagos, and so to secure a job with them, most often, you have to be in Lagos. 2. Good and secure housing programs. Apart from IMO State that I know has good housing schemes, most other eastern states, like Umuahia, Abia State ( some box - like buildings, without aesthetics, are being built now at the outskirts of the state, on the bende-ohafia road) do not have good housing schemes that will make it attractive for their elites to live there. 3. Security is very much lacking in some eastern states, because when some rich folks are seen in exotic cars, the next thing is for some miscreants to plan their kidnap. 4. Absence of recreational facilities in most eastern states. In Lagos, there are many recreational parks, such as amusement parks, popular cinemas, beaches etc. If such activities can be created for the east, then many people will think it's a fun place to live in. 5. A program to make eastern people relocate home. One of the criteria for the location of industry, from secondary school economics, is the availability of a large population. The east has the population, but they are dispersed all over the country. If we need to create viable industries, we need the desired population. 6. Right people in government. If we can get the right people with the right ideas into govt, then issues like poor Road network, corruption etc will be properly tackled. 7. A super-fast rail link that can enable people move from the east to Lagos and back again in under three hours can help re-populate the east with the vibrant population it needs. |

sunnyb0b0: Who doesn't know the Afonja winch will eventually leave. Stop please. Marriage, even to a lady from your town, can bring conflicts among brothers. I have a friend who told me he had a senior brother, whom he had never really had any serious fight with, but once both of them got married, the women involved almost caused him to fight his elder brother. The friend, above, and his senior brother decided to move to different apartments, in different neighborhoods, and this brought to an end what would have turned out to be a bitter family feud. My advise to Peter and Paul, move out from the house you both currently occupy, you could sell it. Then you can buy different apartments in different neighborhoods. They will find out that the brotherly bond between them will return in a sweeter way, if they see each other once in awhile. As for their business and musical interests, an arbitrator or influential person they all respect should be called to discuss with each of them, separately, and thus find out each person grievance against the other. That way the arbitrator can make them iron out their differences and apologize to each other. I am disappointed in Jude, as a senior brother, he ought not take sides with either party, but make them come to mutual agreement and so preserve their family unity, though I might be wrong about this. Let brotherly love continue. |

Elderly people sometimes do take things a little too seriously.. I would give anything to have my dad here to ask me any kind of questions in this world... luminouz: Yeah hitting a woman is wrong but what d fvck made d woman an irrational monster who talked about her husband joystick n bedgame in front of other neighbours Did u even condemn d woman Sexual frustration has really set in for the woman. This might really be what is causing her anger, as the husband is not satisfying her sexually, she lost total control and went on an uncontrollable rant and was abusing her husband. I wonder if she is experiencing a hormonal imbalance, estrogen, somewhat like the hen that chases away another hen that is lying on top of eggs it had laid, just to claim it. The woman should have sat with her husband to discuss the above issue, as things like fruits (carrots, bananas, date palm, plaintain), good excersise(jogging, skipping, lifting little weights), good pre-intimacy and sexual technique can help him overcome the problem of weak sexual performance. The above is true for most couples as they, always fail to discuss their sex lives, which is very important. |

Btw, are there no pretty, young girls abroad to settle for rather than all these old mama wey don reach to die. Loneliness can cause a woman cling onto any man who shows any little interest in her, especially in the western world where they act so cold at times. Check out the sugar boys of Sierra Leone. boostdom: It is irrational and smacks of bad judgment if you intend shooting an equally armed man with a rifle, just to injure. You have probable cause to assume he will shoot you too, especially where there is conflict as stated here.
I am trained in weaponry handling, one of thy he first things you get taught is that if you are confronting an equally armed opposition and there is heightened tension, and you can draw probable cause that your opponent will shoot, then you have to shoot first...and that is "shoot to immobilize him".
The bad judgment started from the dead security operatives who went there without warrant, and won't stand down even when they had no legal authority to enter that property in the first place. You might be right. If there are rules of engagement in the NPF, the Sars team should have obeyed the instructions of the IGP's team by dropping their weapons. |
