DUTCHDON: I wish you were right my brother. However, this might not be the case, I remember a time when two blue chip multinational firms, in the beverage sector and conglomerate sectors, here in Nigeria had Nigerians as Chief Executives. The two Nigerian Ceos' proceeded to defer expenditures spent from appearing on the Profit and loss accounts of the firms in order to show a profit position, whereas the companies were running at multi-billion naira losses. It took the intervention of the parent companies of the multi-national to save the two firms involved from going into liquidation. Since then Caucasians have always been made the Ceos' of those companies and they are currently doing very well again. I know other blue chip companies that are currently having the same corruption related issues like the two companies above, before they were rescued, so you can see the corruption problem is very endemic, even in the private sector. The above issue makes me wonder, what is wrong with us as Nigerians. |
PrecisionFx: Afonja and Ikorodu town with lots of bad news. |
ycat:Criminality does not occur based on ethnic origins as you believe. The ritualists in Ogun and Osun states don't value human life but I don't generalise that those from there are all like that. To say the woman introduced the man to child trafficking, without even knowing the outcome of Police investigation, shows how narrow minded you guys can be sometimes. Adequate travel and exposure to other people and cultures will help broaden a lot of people's world view and perception of issues. |
ycat:You are indirectly calling your fellow Yoloba man a weakling. Even if you are married to a fellow Yoloba woman and she says you should carry hot charcoal with your bare hands, will you do it? Learn to take responsibility as a man and not always shift the blame to others. |
Pharaoh001:Nah. It's an Afonja setup and they need your cooking skills. ![]() |
Old BoI, sew transformation The fact that the Lord saved her, does not mean she should not take care of herself. I mean which man will she appeal to looking that way? Smh. |
It seems the Police guy told the dead lady he was no longer interested in continuing their relationship, which led to the dead lady's life falling apart. Sadly, she decided to end it all. It reminds me of a Unilag undergraduate who decided to take shaving powder because her boyfriend called it quits with their relationship. Guys have got to be careful not to fall into such sad situations. |
engrkaz:Did you say you paid 175k Private companies like Chisco could have moved your property more efficiently for less than 100k.I am not advertising for Chisco, but just writing on the experience I had with them. |
Keneking:I disagree. FIRS collects huge amount of funds from other sources, so the duty should be left with Nipost to shore up its finances and make it completely independent of government funding. |
Wetin Ogogoro don cause, we no go fit write them finish. Adamu might have been under the control of illicit gin, tramadol or gbana. Smh. RIP to the dead. |
lankieman: This had me in an open chuckle. |
fuckerstard:You are quite right. I wonder if Taxify has a rule of engagement with clients, such as asking the client before going to pick him or her, their intended destination. There is also need for a spy cam in the car, like you suggested, to watch the back of drivers against stubborn and unruly clients. |
bigplayerz: Just like those people who will say awzue, instead of house, breadi instead of bread, siro instead of zero and ate instead of eight, will say he's our boda instead of brother. Lol. Congratulations to the young man, his achievement is no mean feat. |
bigplayerz: Just like those people who will say awzue, instead of house, breadi instead of bread, siro instead of zero and ate instead of eight, will say he's our boda instead of brother. Lol. |
It's possible he was hypertensive. All men and women who suffer from hypertension should avoid rigorous sports to increases their blood pressure beyond control to avoid these cases of sudden death due to over-exertion. RIP to an amiable gentleman. |
seunny4lif:Very good, and funny description of those West African countries. Are you a travel agent or diplomat? |
usba: They mentioned your name and woke you up from sleep. Well, sleep no more for you all, BMC, have the hard task of pushing PMB uphill, on a bike, to the mount 2019 of electoral victory. |
Alariiwo:You might be right in your permutations, but who knows if APC will win the Presidency in 2023? |
kolafolabi: It just to warn the driver in the car behind, to be careful or he or she can face legal prosecution for driving too close to and bashing the car. It could however, be a young guy with a funny sense of humor. |
ebujany:Let's leave all these tribal bashing and think like humans, as God created us. I am not Yoruba, but all the points VOR elucidated are very true and need to be addressed urgently. The middle belt Youths are threatening to form militias because of the callous killing of their people, there is insecurity in the SW and SE among other issues. Those calling for restructuring should be taken seriously before the nation implodes on itself. |
doublewisdom: Why only his mouth? Anyway, you guys get mouth for yabis. |
Explorers:You hit the nail on the head about issues confronting the average working class guy. |
Lol. Those were the days. Also remember you had to rush from one end of the campus to the other end, sometimes several times a day, because you had to attend all the borrowed courses from other departments. All the freshers were always moving in crowds to attend these lectures, and were easily recognized by this. |
BlackDBagba:LOL. It's can be a really crazy world, sometimes. |
It is reported that Wilson Oruma, Super Eagles's of Nigeria former creative midfielder is suffering from a mental disorder. I labeled him, 'Mr Excitement' after watching him change the tide of the game against Brazil, on the way to Dream Team winning an Olympic Gold medal back in Atlanta 1996. It's a pity that when players give their best to their country, they are thereafter abandoned to their fate when they fall upon hard times after their football career is over. Rashidi Yekinni was a victim of such neglect by the sports authorities and his own fellow footballers, both active and retired. When Yekinni died all the sports authorities and colleagues then came out to eulogies him, forgotten that he could have been rescued by them before he died. I am calling on the football authorities and all football players, active and retired, to come to Wilson Oruma's aid before it becomes too late for him. http://dailypost.ng/2018/01/11/ex-super-eagle-star-wilson-oruma-suffers-mental-disorder-duped-pastor-photo/amp/ Cc: Lalasticlala, mynd44 |
funlord:You are right, but electrical wiring problem can contribute to this. I had a nasty experience on electrical wiring problem on my car, thank God it did not lead to a complete fire outbreak. |
badmanschatz:I tell you!!! A friend in Calgary, Canada posted a video footage about the place. Everywhere was white and full of snow. The friend said the temperature there was - 24 degrees Centigrade. Minnesota is said to be colder than above as they have recorded temperatures of - 38 degrees Centigrade. |
Hotshawarma: Guys get red eyes from unemployment and other ills. |
fergie001:I have often wondered why the Benue people can not resort to self-help. Are they waiting for all their people to be massacred before they do something? ![]() The Benue people have a lot of ex-service men, whose advice they can seek to achieve their aim of self-protection, against the wishes of the terrorists who want to annihilate them all through planned pogroms. |
Campusity:Archbishop Okogie to Buhari: 'I just dey look you, 2019 kó 1920 ni'. |
missyadorable:Infact, the way married men, and women, are carrying on dey fear me. Dey no get any scruples about sowing and receiving wild oats. |
