micktoxin:I agree totally with you, but its the Constitution, and not the Federal government that is holding the states back because, it does not support Fiscal Federalism and Resource control. If the constitution can be amended to ensure Fiscal Federalism, then there will be creation of right economic policies and their implementation by the states as they will realise that its either they learn how to swim or sink, economically. This will also ensure that the right people are attracted into politics, as thugs and fradulent people who have nothing to offer the state, will naturally steer clear of politics. My fear is that deadwood states will fight tooth and nail to ensure that Fiscal Federalism is not enforced in order to continue receiving Federal allocations. |
![]() The people don suffer so much from Transformer thieves. Their thinking is that the curse will scare the thieves away. |
aieromon:U dey mind them. After today, those boastful Chelsea friends, go dey give me way. |
PunkyOh:lolzzz. Show yourself. I agree with you that most South Africans are decent, it was just a few miscreants giving the whole people a bad name. Its good that the SA govt. intervened by sending in the Army, at last, but more enduring measures need to be adopted to end these xenophobic attacks like mass Job creation, education and social enlightnment of the Zulu youths. |
vizkiz:Women and pretense!!! I guess we shall never fully understand them |
Justfollowit:Lmao. You will be very good at torture ooh !!! The guy really got to you. Are you riled because of a victim you know? |
Testing. The man dey drink too much? I knew a drunk, once, who always gets beaten by his frustrated wife anytime he comes home drunk, as she claimed he spends his entire salary on booze. If the man is not a drunk, then he should run for dear life before a possessed woman destroys his life completely. I know a case where a pretty woman, becomes as strong as five men, when possessed, and attacks the nearest person to her, which is usually her husband, for no just cause. The possessed woman usually batters the husband endlessly, even though the guy was quite well built and was not a weakling. |
Thank God for his tender mercy, that the little girl has been found; she's her mom's carbon copy. This is why parents are jittery about dropping their children in the children church; you never can tell how careful the children minders will be. |
naijainfogalery:They go hearam. Lol. |
niggi4life:I like Tam David-West, but have not seen him of recent to ascertain his physical and mental status ( no offense intended) because, I guess he must be quite elderly now and might not want the rigours associated with a Minister of Petroleum position. |
Goke7:I agree totally with you, bro. I will like to see him as the minister of works so that our infrastructure can be properly developed into world class standard. Idika Kalu will fit squarely into the Finance ministry if he could bring his experience in the transformation of the korean economy to bear on the Nigerian situation. |
Testing. I had a similar experience too where a Pastor commanded everyone to empty their pockets, including transport fare into the offering box, a directive I did not obey. After I caught a bus at the end of the service, I noticed a long line of people trekking home after giving their transport fare. Lolz. |
dunkem21:Testing. lool. You are very funny. African need to know that we live in the age of intellect and research and not that of superstition and fear. We need to embrace academic and intellectual curiosity as this will help us overcome problems of poverty, disease, miserable existence and avoidable death. |
BiHung:Be civil my friend, these dinners are meant to promote harmony and understanding among our politicians. Politics is not a do or die affair, the elections have been won and lost, its time to face governance issues that impact on our daily lives. |
Dyt:Lol !!! It was both ways because I remember entering a molue and had to stand because I was rushing somewhere. A certain naughty lady was using her bosom to press hard against my back, whenever the conductors asks people to move further inside the bus to create space for other passengers to board, and was grinning mischeviously whenever i squirm in discomfort at what she was doing. |
Keneking:Whatever. GEJ has his name etched in our consciouness and also posterity. Despite rants like this, history will judge him kindly because he had a sincere committment to governance. |
Lala247:Darn !!! Now am definitely going to have nightmares. Hurries out............ to search for his bible. |
mehnn !!! See transformation from Gagool ( The witch in the book, 'King Solomon's Mines) to Nneka123 dark sister. |
TooNoisy:lmao. I am sure the sharp guy did something like that, that is what must have really annoyed the lady when she realised that she had been scammed. Na 'do and follow' jazz she bin dey look for? |
@Ops, your analysis was very lucid and true. In politics, you must pander or agree with vital interest groups and shed encumbrances that will drown you politically for example , Abba Moro should have been made to resign after the immigration debacle, heads in the military and intelligence community should have been made to roll for the botched American rescue of the Chibok girls among other issues. |
olamilian:I guess its not your kind of news, a 1,000 page city people magazine would have been more delicious. |
Pita99:lolzz. Na do me I do you, man no go vex. |
hugelyendowed:False statements. The Igbos were afraid of nothing as they voted for continuity. They were successfully wooed by the APC on the need for continuity, especially through the pamphleets that were distributed by the party on the Thursday before the governorship election. I mean who does not like good things whether Igbo or Yoruba. |
searching4love:Those wearing the shoes know where it pinches most. You are in your comfort zone, pontificating about Abia State, you probably have not gone beyond theLagos Toll gate in your miserable landlocked existence in Lagos state. I advise you to get a life and Job too (Those Igbo Industrialists you know will be of great help here). |
If I bi her husband, I no go let am bosom feed my child. She wan smother the baby or wetin ![]() |
OrigamiIII:Delta bad belle against Igbos, na today. I have a Delta colleague who told me that his grouse with Igbos is that they came all the way from the East, past Delta and Edo States and went to Lagos to become the most prosperous group, after the Yorubas (in his words). The Delta guy said that after the Yorubas, they (Delta and Edo) are suppossed to be the next most prosperous people not the Igbos. Inagine that type of reasoning!!! I explained to the Delta guy that Igbos are prosperous because they have a God given knack for business, like the Pakistanis in UK, and also have self-discipline; unlike some groups who take to boozing and marrying many wives when their business picks up a little, instead of consolidating their business through putting back such earnings to grow the business further. I counselled the Delta guy to tell his people to study the habits of the Igbos that they too can become very prosperous if they imbibe the culutre of hardwork, business savvy and self-discipline. |
rokiatu:Rokiatu, Rokiatu, Rokiatu !!! How many times did I call you? Mind the way you dey treat that Oga ohhh !!! |
Lacomus:Lolz. |
Gratia:hehehe. Nawty lady, the left hand is working where? Was the article written by a Frenchman trying to learn English language? |
uselessgoat:Your moniker describes you wella. That your son in the picture, looks very much like you. |
iluvweed:I guess it must be fwesh wiid. |
