His 'stealing is not corruption' speech will go down in history as one of the most unfortunate remarks to be made by a leader of any country, not just Nigeria.

His biggest redeeming factor has been the inclusion of NOI in his cabinet, and most of the so called progress we see is down to her.

I feel sad that all we have to look forward to is GMB, however it is a massive indictment of GEJ that he cannot hope to win, despite the power of incumbency.

The exercise is criminal in it's entirety but I thought you will get my message when I said that even founding memmbers of PDP are now in APC accusing PDP of being the problem in this country. But to me there is no political party so to say. What we have is politicians moving from one platform to the other and that is why I say why is it that we attribute anything nagetive to PDP that does not exist.

A member of my church has a daughter who got admission into one of the unity schools. But the school she chose was Ijaninkin while they posted her to Odogbolu. The father on getting to Odogbolu was asked to pay N200,000 without receipt. He made contacts and he was directed to one staff.(WOMAN) The woman told him that that has been their norm and when he sought to know why he was being treated like that way he was told that ''BECUASE HIS DAUGHTER DID NOT CHOOSE THEIR SCHOOL AS FIRST CHOICE'' Now tell me the crime in not choosing a particular school as first choice. Yet such people will come here to condemn Goodluck.

Neither did I accuse anyone of threatening anybody. I blamed the government for failing to provide security, I also charged them to beef up security across the country while enjoining the electorates to shun violence. I don't think my position is unclear

If Goodluck Jonathan did care and took corruption seriously,the primary beneficary of the scheme Jimoh Ibrahim who owns Nicon Insurance,should be made to refund the N35.5 billion naira he fraudulently collected from Stella Oduah Aviation Intervention fund for distressed airlines and shortly after collecting it liquidated his airline Nicon Airways and pocketed the proceeds.
This money when recovered from Jimoh Ibrahim will be able to cover Nigeria's students for the next 50 years(35.5 billion/625million). Goodluck Jonathan does'nt realise the destructive effects of condoning corruption and not giving a damn.

From what I just read up there, there was never a time the Drivers were threatened by the Opposition elements over there. They rejected the offer based on their discretion. As usual the election would be won and lost at the polling units, but if GEJ hadn't failed them, they wouldn't have had any excuse for rejecting the offer!

This only benefits Jimoh Ibrahim and does'nt benefit parents.I'm sure this is a form of paying him back for donating to Goodluck Jonathan campaign.Can someone please name another country in the world where children are charged for a life insurance policy in public schools?This goverment is beyond clueless and corrupt,NICON presented this to the goverment and they decided to make it a policy,Goodluck Jonathan should tell us how it benefits Nigerian parents some of whom he owes 3 months salary.

Okonjo Iweala promised to make the report public whenever PWC concluded their audit. I'm sure PWC finished the audit since November.

I guess the report reveals that a higher figure was stolen!! Maybe that's why they are hiding the report. They should release the result for public scrutiny if they have nothing to hide.

I know some foolish Nigerians on Nairaland will see nothing wrong with this issue. All we are clamouring for are transparency and accountability.

Most African countries can not even claim to have a budget of up to $10B. That money is enough to transform any serious country.

I wonder why this thread is not on fp. If this is nt on fp, then what kinds of topic should we expect on FP?I can confidently say that the mods on nairaland are hopelessly biased and almost useless!
