Don't say what u don't know. A colleague of mine got March salary on Friday evening. GT bank to be precise. We all already got our February salary and forgeten about it

When he broke the news I was happy hoping my own will come any moment from then as he was also the first to receive the February salary. But alas, reverse has been the case

Let the world know that all federal government workers in the Colleges of Education, Polytechnics and Universities have not been paid their March salary.

This is not an issue of not joining IPPIS, majority of us have joined and we were paid February salary through IPPIS

What is there is 'tertiary' institution and you also have tertiary institutions in the health sector eg FMCs and teaching hospitals.
If he wants to be specific, then he should write something like "Fed govt owned tertiary educational institutions"

Dear Nigerians, the President made a broadcast yesterday that three major cities will be locked down midnight today. This we know will have obvious adverse effect on all other states of the federation.

Regrettably and specifically speaking, federal government is yet to pay the March salary of tertiary institution workers.

Many markets across the federation will be closed today, how do we survive?
People are being asked to stock their home with food items, how do we do that?

My problem now is that even if the salary eventually come today, prices of food stuffs are already on the high side.

Is this not man's inhumanity to man at this critical time?

Those in GT bank received their salary since last week Friday and up till now others are yet to receive theirs. Can't salary be paid over the weekend?

It is becoming almost second nature for most Nigerians, both the educated and non-educated classes, to cross the line while pouring out their hearts on national issues. I agree, there are ample question marks on how the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has acted on and reacted to socio-political, economic, and religious matters; spanning from federal character, insurgency, ethno-religious skirmishes, education, malfeasance, to now presidential invisibility before this coronavirus pandemic.

Naturally, we feel betrayed, used, and insignificant to the presidency. Not paling in comparison to status-quo that should be, your feelings are indeed valid. But letting this emotional pain lead you to hurl insults of all sorts at President Buhari, as rampant online, is an overreaction. As you call him unprintable, reprehensible names and ridicule him through jokes/memes, remember he is fallible, someone's husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and holds office of President of Nigeria. It is enough to beg to differ with and criticize constructively his leadership style plus policies. Using constitutional and moral means to show displeasure are in order. Look emotional intelligence's way.

Disturbingly, some people even wish Buhari death, hoping news of his demise filters in soonest. If that's not a representation of the Scriptures' observation that "The heart of man is desperately wicked," then it must be of something worse. If you fall in this category, kindly stop now! Such comments are humor taken too far.

As events unfold and we watch with disappointment, anticipating the National Assembly does the needful and saves the day, let us (Nigerians) amplify our voices to be critically loud enough, not insulting enough.

All those deductions have they not been there before? Is there any new deduction IPPIS introduced. If not, then ur increase is just 2k which can not be true.

GL 02 step 4 on the image below is annual 1,611,085, divide by 12 it gives monthly 134,257.09 which is same as what is on my IPPIS payslip 134,257.08, PAA is not part of it. below is also my December payslip showing my old gross at 115,738.86 no PAA. PAA is allowance not included in your salary.

From ur pay slip ur gross is 143k plus; while on the document showing the new minimum wage ur gross should be 161k plus.
