I think a guy said he converted his 8million naira to dollars due to the whole naira depreciation, you need to see how they were mocking him on a thread on Tuesday, you would feel he was the one who wrecked the economy.

They left those who collects salaries and allowances and ended up wrecking the economy to blame the one who wants to survive the wreck.

Where is that guy insulting me on Tuesday?

Those making mockery of the #8million guy are now silent.

It is the politicians, CBN officials, Senior bank staff and business that has legit access to dollars at official rates from the govt that supplies the parallel market at least 80% but it is the #8 million guy and those that have less than a 1000 dollars that are the problem in the dust filled brains of this agbados and buharists.

I bet bulaba plug who would be in charge of improving their bullet proof SUVs must have gotten dollars for it by now at official rates and would have sent it twice into the parallel market and given his mentor their cuts.

Basically all APC supporters do not have a working brain.

Idiots.

The certificate forger has allocated #5billion for a yatch, near 5 billion for cars, 10 billion plus for renovations from funds which would obviously be borrowed and paid with interest in dollars, the gworo chewing herdsman that handed over to him had his cabal roundtrip in dollars till things went bad, those are not the brunt of your stupidity, it is those who converts mere 1million to dollars so that his savings won't turn to dust is the one likened to "criminals, kidnappers who would end up as refugees".

Why even stop with the first lady? The idiota should have even said all the women in Nigeria should sit at home to take care of their husbands instead of working.

So you expect govt that was sworn in on May 29th to even be aware of a yatch that was probably ordered years previously? You must think that the President knows every single thing that happens in country.
Even a local govt chairman doesn't know everything happening in his local government not to talk of a president of a country.
He probably never even heard of the yatch until it hit the social media hoopla.
When you become the President or CEO of a company, then we shall see how efficient you will be.
.
You are an irredeemable clown.

The supplementary budget demanding 5b for the yatch was his own first ever, the navy submitted it to the executive, who compiled all and sent to the national assembly, if you are trying to claim he is not aware, then you are saying himself, budget minister, finance minister, COS, SSA regarding finance and budget were derelict in their duties

O pari.

Now those who ignorantly claimed it is a leisure Yatch and that it was ordered by the administration of President Bola Tinubu can bury their heads in shame.

It's a naval training/operational vessel that belongs exclusively to the Nigerian Navy, its purchase predates this current administration that took office on May 29.

When Asiwaju Tinubu was the Governor of Lagos state, the state of aquatic splendor for 8 years, he never got a Yatch, it is impossible for him now to require a leisure Yatch now he is President and spends most of his time in the land locked Abuja.

It's just a no brainer that the opposition and LP mob are ignorant and made a complete mess of the opportunity for an intelligent and diligent feedback on the recently passed supplementary budget. Check my signature for free stuffs!

Otondo,

Read the screenshot, yatch are basically leisure cruise.

All the military yatch were termed military styled, basically not for military but just styled as if it were.

Even those armed ones, are those taken from private individuals and armed for use for that period and returned thereafter

Believe this nonsense at your own Peril.......... How can a yatch be delivered without single upfront payment? Except this guys are not telling us the truth...

A Yatch is not a car that will be constructed and kept for sale (Except its a used yatch), Vessels are built based on order and customer's specification and other fittings.

The construction starts from keel laying to the body (Superstructure) and it takes an average of 2 or more years to build such structure.... How come they bought a yatch within a space of 1 year and its already in Nigeria?

If it's in Nigeria, where is the yatch berthing? Who is paying for the daily berth charges? This country is such a terrible place and slaves like FreeStuffsNG will come here to support their oppressors when they barely have a square meal a day grin is mind-boggling.

If the yatch is in Nigeria, they should tell us the name of the yatch.... Why are they keeping it a secret?

Agreed you are at liberty to withhold whatever details you had, but giving it out would have been helpful to others as well.

Make I help you with few benefits here.
*Reduction in Road Congestion: The Abuja kaduan rail system has led to a decrease in road congestion, as more people and goods opt for rail travel. This, in turn, reduces wear and tear on roads and lowers maintenance costs, benefiting the local and national economy.

*Enhanced Productivity: The Abuja kaduna rail ensures reliability and punctuality for people and businesses along the Abuja kaduna corridor, the rail service allows businesses to better plan and optimize their supply chains. This predictability and efficiency in logistics can leads to increased productivity and cost savings for industries relying on transportation.

*Improvement of Livelihoods: Access to the rail system has improved the livelihoods of individuals living in Abuja, Kaduna, and the surrounding areas. It has expanded the pool of employment opportunities, increased access to education and healthcare, and improved overall living standards, indirectly contributing to the economic well-being of the population.

*Job Creation and Economic Development: The construction and operation of the rail system have generated employment opportunities, directly and indirectly. The infrastructure development phase created jobs in construction, while the operational phase continues to provide employment in various roles, including train operators, station staff, and maintenance personnel. Additionally, the improved connectivity has attracted investment and business development in the region, fostering economic growth.

*Boost to Regional Trade and Commerce: The improved transportation infrastructure has stimulated regional trade and commerce. Businesses can now more easily transport their products to different markets, and consumers can access a wider range of goods and services. This has contributed to economic growth and the expansion of local businesses.

*Enhanced Connectivity and Accessibility: The rail system has improved connectivity between Abuja, the capital city, and Kaduna, a major economic hub in northern Nigeria. This increased accessibility has facilitated the movement of people and goods, supporting business activities and trade between these two important cities.

*Reduction in Transportation Costs: The rail system provides a more cost-effective mode of transportation for both passengers and freight. By offering an affordable and efficient alternative to road travel, it has helped to reduce transportation costs for individuals, businesses, and industries in the region.

the Abuja-Kaduna rail system has provided economic benefits by enhancing connectivity, reducing transportation costs, boosting regional trade and commerce, creating job opportunities, and attracting tourism and investment. These advantages have not only improved the quality of life for residents but have also contributed to the overall economic development and prosperity of the region, I no say you fit no even understand all these things sef.

I hope you have learnt a few things, now run along undecided undecided

I want to believe he specifically asked about Abuja to Kaduna route.

1. Abuja to Kaduna never had a congestion issue, it was basically a bad road issue so this point doesn't really fly. Besides, it is a passenger train so the goods part is somewhat hazy.

2. For now, this doesn't really count aside being able to meet up with appointments in Abuja or Kaduna on time, nothing with regards to PRODUCTivity as you say it because the supply chains you are talking about is none existent since it is still a passenger train.

3. Job creation, i will agree with this no matter how small compared to the investment on it.

4 and 5. Doesn't hold water since it is still a passenger train, when it starts moving goods like trailers and tankers do, then we can agree to this (Note: it is 5 years already). We need to build on the goods part so this benefit can manifest.

6. Traveling via road is still cheaper, both before subsidy removal and after, i chose the train because the comfort is levels far above road transport.
