yea right. the fact fable that plants were made on the 3rd day in genesis without the sun (created on the 4th) to drive the process of photosynthesis makes absolute sense.

Noah's Ark (basically a reworking of the much older "Epic of Gilgamesh" makes the most sense. Yahweh supposedly gave Noah 7 days warning of the flood, just one week to collect polar bears from the North Pole, lions from Africa, spiders from South America and tigers from India and the Far East, that is assuming they all could fit in or survive in one big mythical boat.

Yahweh then created the rainbow as a sign that he would never again wipe out humanity in a global catastrophe like we're expected to believe that light behaved differently a few thousand years ago when passing through raindrops

And less i forget, the whole idea was to rid the wicked people from the world. Did it work?

What about the idea that the gods came down and fathered offsprings with human females, also found in many cultures, e.g. Hercules was the son of Zeus and Alcmena; Bacchus was the son of Jupiter and Semele

makes perfect sense as much as the idea that the entire world spoke a single language until Yahweh became angry at their attempt to build a skyscraper and cursed them all with different languages as well as the sun being commanded to stand still for Joshua's army to get it's killing done. This would be a great miracle to occur, if not for the fact that the sun does not move.

In my opinion people who claim that the Bible is inerrant and everything happened as stated should have their heads examined.

certain words, on account of their popularity and regular use become acceptable over time as English. the same with the word Jeep.

did you guys know that until about 4 years ago, Internet was not acceptable as a regular daily English word? if you spell the word INTERNET, you must start with the I with a capital letter. but is all changed now.

Jeep in the old Official Scrabble Players Dictionary was listed as an unplayable Scrabble word because it was a br,and name.

but it has all changed now. Jeep is now a valid word, a verb at that. and it refers to those cars with high clearance.

please, cite a new authority that forbids me from calling a Land - cruiser a jeep today.
