I like this question, Nigeria is far better than most African countries, virtually in everything.. but you will never see their citizens bad-mouthing their countries everywhere they go. I have friends from other African countries, but I have never seen a country like Nigeria where her citizens are champions in showcasing all the bad/negagive things happening in their country.

Nobody is saying things are working perfectly in Nigeria, and we mustn't always hide things, but the negative vibes Nigerians are using to degrade their country on all social media platform is having negative impacts on Nigerians and Nigeria as a country.

Never you underestimate the powers of professing negative things against yourself or your country.

Please, allow the treasury bill thread to thrive, stop bringing these unrelated topics here.

You and your paymasters can never tell Nigerians what to talk about.

The leaders will steal our common wealth, allow terrorists to kill our farmers, formulate and implement daft economic policies, carry soldiers to kill ARMLESS protesters, rig elections, courts of co ordinate jurisdiction will be dishing out the same judgments, kidnappers are offered "amnesty and forgiveness " Gumi will be threatening Nigerians etc, and NOBODY AMONGST THEM IS MADE TO FACE THE LAW.

You're here telling us not to talk about it because it's embarrassing when the people whom we pay millions every month are not doing their job.

Oga, respect yourself and this humble thread, carry your advice comot for here.

Does it mean that if government want to engage in massive agriculture for food security, the land isn't available for them already? By land use act, government owns the lands, so this farm estate I don't understand
Indigenous people own the land and the state Governors hold it in trust for them.

Governors cannot give out land without express permission from the indigenous owners.

I think both of them contributed to the failure of their marriage, the woman, more than the man.

How could you be sleeping with your sister's husband till the point you got pregnant by him and pinned it on another man?

I think it's fair for them to go to the court to resolve their custody issues.
How is it the fault of Nedu in this matter?

Nedu already has legal custody of the children but she took them hoping to use them to manipulate him to be giving her money.

One leads to the other. This has nothing to do with English. If a couple with both AS genotypes marries, the likelihood of getting a sickle cell baby dramatically increases. If one or both couples is infertlile, the prevalence of DNA mismatch of their kids also jumps. Adultery is obviously another factor that can lead to this.

You seem focused on adultery. I am more concerned about infertility and the socio-cultural challenges surrounding this. My solution to the infertility is what I have saying here for the past 30 mins. You should offer yours to address adultery

If infertility is a problem in a marriage, either of the couple can divorce and get another partner to bear children. It's not by committing abomination. Paternity fraud is not the solution to infertility;adoption is a viable alternative if you don't subscribe to divorce.

We act as if babies don't get switched at birth either intentionally or not.
Some nurses have confessed to having done that whilst they worked, some midwives and nurses are crazy. They even sell babies to women who have lost their kids or want gender change because those women were either scared of what their husband's or in-laws' reactions would be.
Infidelity is not the sole cause of paternity fraud or whatever you want to call it in the society.
If babies are switched at birth, their DNA will not match the either of their parents when a test is conducted.

Gosh, this argument is becoming exhausting. What is the root problem of this matter? Why do women birth another man's child into their marriage? Common sense dictates that majority of these situations are secondary to infertility, and since the woman can get pregnant, it is quite clear where the problem is coming from.

Now, I know for a fact that most men do not do fertility tests following marriage to detect the cause of infertility in their marriages. The woman usually bears the brunt of this 'failure' pushing her to get pregnant from other sources. There may be other reasons but this appears to be the prevalent cause.

So, to prevent this issue from ever occurring, why not also declare just like the DNA that men must first do a fertility test? How are both issues not equivalent?
This is the reasons we are mandated to write IELTS despite English being our lingua franca.

Comparing Male infertility to paternity fraud is useless because they are not the same thing! It's like comparing comparing television to carrot, they are not the same thing!

Nedu of Wazobia is not impotent but his ex wife is a slvt that committed paternity fraud by sleeping with her sister's husband.

The Yoruba man that died, whom his wife was impregnated by her boss was not impotent cos he remarried and had a child.

So,if a woman thinks her husband is impotent and was deceived into the marriage, she should file for divorce and find another husband to impregnate her and not become a slvt and commit paternity fraud.

Speaking of being daft, if you expect women to go along with this mandate of checking the DNA of their children without question, by all means, your abundant wisdom should take into coignance majority of men who are so adamant on not going for screening when infertility arises. To worsen matters, the society supports this abhorrent behaviour.

You will agree with me that the later issue almost always births the former. Simply put, 'wisdom' demands that to prevent most cases of men looking after kids that aren't theirs, all men should rise to the occasion of checking their sperm count before embarking on that journey called marriage.
That guy finished you with the word "false equivalence ". You should check out the meaning before responding to him except you're just here to argue and pulling strawman stunts.

Comparing low sperm count to paternity fraud is like comparing orange with yam, they are not the same thing, thus your comparison (argument) is baseless. Rather than provide a valid point for your position, you've decided to attack him.

Meanwhile, MIL and her coven is on your case.

So many ladies out there had no child cos husbands refused to seek medical help or open up.
Women have resorted to safeguarding their marriage the other way round.
When we look at what drives women to have kids from outside, infidelity is at the bottom.
Stop spewing rubbish.

If your husband refuses to go to hospital to check and treat the cause of childlessness in your marriage, you divorce him and marry who is willing to bear children with you. You don't become a whoree and start committing abomination in the guise of "safeguarding your marriage ".

Asking questions without cause is unnecessary, it breeds doubt. Except the man conducts the DNA test without her knowledge, once she finds out, that marriage is as good as gone.
Families and churches ask for HIV test, Genotype test, fertility test etc, because it's necessary, but some folks think DNA test is not necessary.

Marriage is a contract between 2 or more parties, if any of the parties thinks asking questions are unnecessary and wants to break the contract because of that, then no problems, he/she should leave. It's not a do or die affair .

In the same vein, they should screen all men for low sperm count before marriage to decrease the likelihood of women introducing strange DNA in the family pool
While it's not in the place of the church to demand DNA results from couple before dedicating their children, it's very imperative for every man to conduct a DNA test on all his supposed children.

Guilt has nothing to do with being afraid of DNA test, there should be trust between couples before tying the knot, if a man should wake up one day to suggest DNA to his wife, he has created doubt which will breed hate and eventually divorce, especially when DNA is conducted and it is confirmed that the husband is the father.
Trust doesn't mean someone shouldn't ask questions to get answers. A man doesn't need his wife's opinion or suggestion in conducting DNA test on his supposed children.

Yes, wives are not family, they are part of the man. Husband and wife are one and should out a united front in all areas of their lives.

A wife in this regard is superior to family.

Now I realize that many people who go and ask for people's daughter's hand in marriage don't even understand the meaning of their actions.

If you do, you won't place your family above your wife.

Why would a sane man place a stranger above his family, because she birthed some children for the man?
Why place some stranger above my family when she can leave me cos of some imaginary "irreconcilable differences "?

Husband and wife are two separate individuals who decided to live and bear children together. It's a contract between parties that can be dissolved, they are not one. If they are one, divorce wouldn't be a thing.
