What a night! A night of nostalgia...... All round beautiful performances and covers . All the contestants truly understand what they are singing.

They didn't overdo it. They all played into their strength. In covering the songs they never lose the essence of the songs......... The evergreen highlife tone.

And kudos to the instrumentalist and the 3 backup singers.

Am sorry to say there is no story for the other songs, but blv me Elizabeth had a story everyone can easily relate to and she really toldbit the way it was

I beg to disagree..... Kitay and Okemuite's songs are more relatable. Majority of us will go through the process of psyching up a lady or a guy. They are love songs and at the same time fun or a danceable songs.

We are talking about Elizabeth's performance because she did it very well but last week she did the same danceable song Kitay and Okemuite did this week and she killed it. The difference is that she is more free, fun and look fresher.

I will disagree with ur conclusion, All contestants got sometin they needed. Also Elizabeth has opened the show 1s or so, Had no problem with the arrangement especially wen I saw kitay performing 1st which he has neva done.
Saying they went out of their way is probably wrong. Of all the songs performed last night,hers is the only 1 dat has a story to tell. She got the necessary cast to act her story out and she did a gr8 job.

What if she didn't use it t well,we will say, despite getting wat she needed, she did not make use of it.

Eli got a Lady to perform 'FALL IN LOVE WITH' we knew aw it went, He got for 'DIFFERENT COLOUR', Dapo got for TAXI DRIVER, Mirabel got for JOHNNY, Okiemute got for FADA FADA, I can go on and on.


We knew aw dis pple used their props and d outcome.

I give it all to ELIZABETH for telling her story.

I agree with you on Elizabeth........ Elizabeth has opened the show with the memorable performance of 'love don't care' and she did it well.

But I disagree with you that there's no story in other contestants songs. There is always a story behind a song. What I noticed in Kitay and Okemuite case is that they are mentally and physically tired and we the audiences are seeing it but interpreting it different ways. They just have to go the extra miles knowing people will only remember what you've done for them lately. And Lizzy is overshadowing them with her performances for the past 3 weeks.

Indeed the race is not the swift. Less than two weeks to go, Kitay and Okemuite are giving these ordinary performances.

Tomorrow will decide who I'm giving all my votes to......... Elizabeth or Okemuite.

Nna mehn..! Without apologies, my best performances were from Pere, Lizzy and Kitay, in that order. @ luvmijeje, have you heard the original of that 'Rosy' song? Pere was totally on top of his game. His back up though, didn't follow through. Lizzy is only totally comfy with street songs. Been watching her and I think she's more of a rapper than a singer. Okiemute tried but I've seen better from her. Winner....that lady needs to learn to put on some groove in her performance na. Wetin happen? Dapo just dey do 'I follow come'. I've never been and still am unimpressed with him. What people see in him, I no understand.

Yeah though I heard and watched it last when I was a kid. But one thing that stood out for me was Blackky playfulness.

Pere was playing safe with that song. He was Iike I don't want to make a mistake,so his voice came out stiff.

I was expecting him to use his falsetto when dancing with the babe. I was expecting him to use his high register when he was trying to dance with the other's guys babes. I was expecting flexibility with his voice cos I know he has that voice.

I don't know if I'm making sense.

FOR THOSE WHO WANT THE MTN PROJECT FAME CONTESTANTS TO MEET NAIRA LANDERS ON THIS FORUM.

Samhay says that won't be possible.
He said too many challenges to tackle if it is done here such as
1. How to relate easily by typing.
2. The Q and A not coming in as instantaneously as whatsapp.
3. The limited time the busy contestants have.
4. The fact that we have to resort to the (question by typing) and (answer by voice note) format , most times.
5. A few of the contestants unfamiliarity with social media forums, (echetra, mechetra)
So the only viable means for now remains WHATSAPP.

Just leave her with no position. She's just there marking time. Mirabel would have done better if given that slot. At least, we would have been expecting Dapo 5th, Mirabel 6th.

The babe is trying too hard to meet up with the expectation of being save consistently and the standard set by the remaining contestants. Which is making her performances so awkward.

Pere.........love everything about his performance of sweet mother. But he could have done more on the rosy aspect especially on the singing aspect.

The usual suspects Kitay and Okemuite killed both their performances .

At this point left to me alone I'm sure of those that deserve 5th and 6th position........ Dapo and Winner respectively.

This series is dope. It kept reinventing itself season by season. So far season 6 is still my favourite.

All series know how how to drag their feet when it comes to storyline. But with Suits, everything in between is always filled with suspense, emotional moments, laugh inducing scenes.

One thing that stood out for me this season is the guest actors. They are all superb. They are not just Waka pass. They didn't just come in to make the main characters feel good or miserable , they also have their own storylines which makes it easy for me to love or hate them.

I agreed with those who said the group song has been so drab........... Kaffy is definitely missing and something else I just can't pin my hands on.

Nice tactics by Dapo who used contestants who are not on probation as props. The last time I witnessed this was season 3. Which obviously contributed to him been saved by them.

Mirabel gave her best performance tonight but I'm relieve she left.

Beautiful rendition and beautiful voice ............ I gat goosebumps. If I'm not watching it I won't even know the difference between the original singer and Anderson.

But I can't find Anderson in that song. I've never find Anderson in any of the song he was given. He always do copy and paste in someone's word here and it didn't apply to Naija song which he's find wanting.

He rely solely on his voice everyweek of the competition. From slow song to fast song na so he go deh(please correct me if I'm wrong). No theatrics...... No Swagg...... No makin use of props....... And he can't move. It shouldn't matter but when you see other contestants putting in that effort and you are not....... Na issue o.

At least he carry third........ Thank God for the power of recall by the Judges.

Elizabeth that I'm even complaining of, turn love don't care upside down and still manage to sing better than Simi in my opinion. If you watched the original and watch Elizabeth's performance you will hardly see similarities if not for the lyrics.


If you honestly want to compare season to season....... Let the show ends.

Elizabeth is actually dramatic,didnt u watch her standing ovation and love dont care

In love don't care, she sat down throughout the performance and allow her voice to tell the story.

In standing ovation, she sang and rap beautifully.

And I'm like what if Kitay and Okemuite were given those songs............ It will be like I'm watching a musical video.

Don't get me wrong........ Elizabeth has been great so far but she she can do more.

Yeah Pere did fantastic well. But my issue with Pere and also Elizabeth is that they depend only on their voices. They don't bring theatrics or make use of props to enhance their performances.

Goshhhhhhhh! Okemuite and Kitay are not ordinary being. They are out of this world.

The way they always take a good song and turn it to something extra ordinary is mind blowing.

The song they did is not a danceable music and they still manage to overshadow other performances. Na wa o.

It's obvious the writer don't follow the show religiously. Apart from Uncle Ben's class we also have two classes which are less rigid, motherly and open.

I will rather title the thread Uncle Ben what's missing in our educational system

If the writer do, he will observe that is only in Uncle Ben's class the contestant are more discipline, more focused and rules are strictly follow.

Which begs the question, why do we as a people needs to be force before we do the right thing. Nigerians don't willingly obey the rules.

The problem is not Uncle Ben, the problem is us as a people.

I didn't regret that yusuph was evicted, it's already a super star. Okiemute, kitty or Elizabeth they have good vocal. My question after project fame what next? Do they have what it takes to blow out there? Finger crossed till then. I came across yusuph number on his website, I was able to speak with him on whatsapp and told him to send some of his single to me. My dearest that guy is gonna be a mega super star in no time. That songs is dope. Mtn I know your ways, our vote didn't count especially the one on website. Anyway that one does not stop him to blow. Know very soon he will be celebrated like our other musician. Not really a fan of Kitay but I don't see anything wrong in what he did. There's power in spoken words and I feel he was just bin positive. He didn't stop any1 from doing same, it's called self believe. If I am in a class and I stand up 1 day and say I will take first position it simply means I believe in my ability and in mysef. Anyone who is not okay with my statement can go ahead and also make his or her declaration after all its a free world. Rather than feel jealous over Kitay's statement I feel the other contestants should instead be motivated to do better and in so doing might eventually prove Mr. Kitay wrong. No need for beefing, coz personally I believe individually they are their own competition.

I too don't find it as a big deal.........but I find the demonising of Okemuite's response to kitay's bragging as a big deal.
