Christianity Etc › Re: What The Bible Says About The Qur'an by luvmijeje(f): 5:56pm On Jun 02, 2018
The
skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it.
Then their skin and their heart soften to the
remembrance of God. That is the guidance of
God. He guides therewith whom He pleases and
whomever God sends astray, for him there is no
guide (Qur’an 39:23).
This is powerful. I love this citation.

Abdulgaffar22, you are special. And you are going to be a powerful person. I will advise you not to argue the Bible and the Quran. Apply the verse to your life. Find God and you will find the truth. The Quran and the Bible were not written by God. They were written by men God spoke to. He wants to speak directly to you too.

Women should dress the way that makes them feel good. Enough of the men trying to control them. Enough of the blackmailing by the society. And enough of blaming them for for the misconduct of sexual predators.

I like him, if not for anything, for being a nationalist. He never tried to divide us. He gave every part of this country a chance in his government. He didn't play favoritism the way his successors did. He didn't give criminals rooms to thrive though he's a criminal.

I still can't see anyone beating him out in the North East and North West votes. It's an election Buhari will win based on that strength alone.

Very distinct that I confess to making a complete hash of it. For instance, I am not focusing on the mysticism in it, yet, and might not do so in this thread.

However, and hopefully, this reading still serves a purpose.
I've nothing to add to this thread because my critique of it is worst than yours and I believe in God.

So make I Park jejeli, because it's not yet time for me explode.

It is a book read by many around me. Only a fool or one who has no interest in understanding their fellow human being would not read it. They would then fabricate lies to justify hating their neighbours. I refuse to be ignorant.
Fair enough.

The Book of John is distinct. My first time of reading it I saw Christ in a new light. I saw a fierce and a no nonsense person. His messages to the pharisee and scribes were lather. I saw a total description of Christ.

Buhari will be President in 2019 but Tinubu won't be in 2023 because he will lose his fortress.
Politics › Re: 20 Reasons APC Will Lose Lagos In 2019(the End Of An Era) Part 2 by luvmijeje(op): 6:25am On Jun 02, 2018
There would be a protest vote against Buhari, no matter the opposition against him. Immediately the opposition sees Lagos going against the ruling party in the Presidential election, a week before the governorship election will be bloody and it will energize opposition.

I see no way out for Tinubu. His support for Buhari will be his pitfall and Ambode inability to stand on his two feet will be his pitfall.
Politics › 20 Reasons APC Will Lose Lagos In 2019(the End Of An Era) Part 2 by luvmijeje(op): 6:25am On Jun 02, 2018
This is the conclusion part of why APC will lose Lagos in 2019. If you missed the first part, please do follow this link
https://www.nairaland.com/4536034/20-reasons-apc-lose-lagos

So let me begin.

The first part of this thread was letting you know the Buhari's impact on the Lagos's votes. But all these wouldn't have matter if we had a governor in Lagos that's distinctive. What do I mean?

11. No reverence: We have a governor that's not revered the way Tinubu or Fashola was. A governor who didn't make his own way but rather follow the ways of other.

12. A standstill : A governor who failed to realize that Lagosians are no longer moved by constructions. A man before him set a standard, he has refused to go above it.

13. The existence of Fashola : The existence of Fashola at the federal level has ensure the continuous comparison and he is not meeting up.

14. The coming of Agbaje : Jonathan's reign hurt Agbaje but this time Buhari's reign will aid him.

15. The Obasanjo factor: There has only be one person close to yanking Tinubu's reign over Lagos and that's Baba. The opposition will make use of his wisdom.

16. The Fox: Obasanjo attack against Buhari wasn't an attack against Buhari per se. It was an indirect attack against Tinubu.

17: The Focus : The opposition will focus on Lagos while Tinubu will have his resources spread thin.

18: The Lapdog: Again, the above wouldn't have mattered if we don't have a lapdog in the state house. A dog that breathe the excretion of Tinubu.

19. Lack of Passion: Ambode is more passionate about Tinubu than he is about the people that he is serving. What do I mean? I remembered an incident that will remain indelible in my memory. I was in a public hospital and I remembered the queue being unnecessarily long, then hours later I saw the hospital's staff in a panic mode. I later discovered the reason was Fashola. He came in unannounced to inspect them. That's the definition of passion.

20. Lack of Service : I will share another memory that will remain indelible. I remembered during the height of Fashola's era of pulling down market structure(my mum was also affected) I was watching him on TV speaking. When he finished speaking, I remembered becoming the governor's advocate. I was the one convincing my mum on why she should stop her curse words against the government.

A failed chairman. The day he took side with the Saraki's faction was the day he lost that seat. What an indelible event.
Politics › Re: Ekweremadu: Why Age Limit For Senate, Governorship Were Retained by luvmijeje(f): 5:41am On Jun 02, 2018
I'm okay with his explanation. 35 years is okay for all. In as much as age doesn't equate wisdom, in this climes it matters.

When I see a young male Polictian, all I'm thinking is he going to spend all our money on women. Yeah... . the old men does it but they are not sexually active...... I know it's unfair but I can't stop my thinking.

One of the reason I'm happy to be back to this section, one is always on high adrenaline. I wrote something so beautiful and sensible and you see no sense in it. Doesn't it tell you something is psychologically, emotionally wrong with you.

I refuse to get unnecessarily high again. No more comment on this thread again. You all should expect part 2 this time tomorrow.

Zoharariel:
If not for anything, APC must fall in Lagos because of Tinubu.

You cannot come from one village in iragbiji & turn us into your slaves.

We - the Omoluabis are not like the Al-majiris in the north that are doing “ranka daidai” to their bastard leaders - after being empowered with wheelbarrows & shoe-polishing kits.

Tinubu owns half of all the properties in Lagos state and we must retrieve them back. Alpha Beta & the Lekki Concession Company are the primary tools being used to extort & milk Lagosians.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fgbsp22VSPE

Ambode too came with his head like that of a ninja-turtle trying to enforce the fraud called “Land Use Charge” after Fashola had already tried to enforce it in his days but failed.

If you want to be paying rents on all your properties in Lagos State, and also want to continue paying the fraudulent Lekki Toll fares that was already bought back in 2013 by the Fashola Government - Then Vote APC, but your children unborn will continue to suffer & serve the Tinubu family!

Well, I actually like Tinubu. He's the best politician we have in this country. His ambition has made him vulnerable. It has made him to open his left flank.
