Apology is not enough. Child abuse is still rampant and the day the church start making a public spectacle of the priests caught in this act then their apology will matter.

Christianity Etc › Re: The Cry: Say No To Abortion. by luvmijeje(f): 6:54pm On Jun 24, 2018
I'm saying No to abortion not because of all these religious gibberish but because of the toll it takes on the body. It aged the body faster. It sags the breast faster. It loosen the virgina wall faster. And with all these quacks doctors we have, it may lead to pregnancy related issue in the future or death.

SO why will you want to abort when you can simply do family planning or force him to use a condom. Protect yourself. protect your body.
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Having BOOB-JOB A Sin by luvmijeje(f): 6:42pm On Jun 24, 2018
Na wa o. I know that I'm beginning to sound like a broken record but your sexual gymnastics is between you and God. If you don't feel comfortable doing it then please don't do it. If you feel okay, then please go ahead. That's why you must know the voice of God. Follow the Spirit. Ordinary kissing can be a sin if the Spirit is not permitting it.

Christianity Etc › Re: True Definition Of Sin. by luvmijeje(f): 6:21pm On Jun 24, 2018
Disobedience to God. But how can a man be disobedient if you can't hear from God directly. Due to the fact we have different purposes, God's instructions to us can never be the same. So one must find God.
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Hell Fire Just A Threat? by luvmijeje(f): 6:17pm On Jun 24, 2018

Do you mind the kid? grin cheesy

He is trying to pass the blame to another and fixate on it as if his case is unique and isolated to him and his atheism.

People face opposition every day everywhere.

1) Educational opposition

2) Societal opposition

3) Religious opposition

4) Financial opposition

In fact there is no area of life without opposition.

I wonder why religious people do not hide their religious convictions even in the face of opposition but would rather die than deny their conviction. Makes me wonder as I reverse his lame pity gathering attempt, if he thinks a religious person would hide his beliefs if his academic wellbeing is in the hand of an atheist.

What a silly thread fully decorated with cowardly atheists with no strength of value and strength in their conviction.

**spits** and walks out.

Be looking for it. Anyway, per your topic, whether you are religious or not, opposition must arise. You can't escape it. Stop your crucification of religious people.
Christianity Etc › Re: Appreciate Your Pastors!! by luvmijeje(f): 5:39pm On Jun 24, 2018
I appreciate my former pastor. He wasn't perfect but I learnt so much from him. I learnt that giving is according to how you are led. I learnt how to hear from God and I learnt who Martin Luther was, not the American.

He was a critical tool God raised to discover who I am in God.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Do You Believe? by luvmijeje(f): 5:20pm On Jun 24, 2018

Shut Up there
This country is the reason that bridge is like that..
You think there is no money to construct a good bridge ... There is but the corruption in the land can't allow development....

This politicians live like kings outside the shores of this country.... Because of the loots they pile while in office.

Nigeria is nothing but a British mistake that makes the poor poorer and not even a saint buhari can make any difference
One of the fools that I'm talking about. So your local government chairmen, your state governor, your Senators etc are British mistake? Are they outsiders? Are they not your people? Are they not collecting money?

Ezza Nation? Later some fools will be supporting the division of this country.

Once again, Nigeria don't have 3 major tribes. Those so called tribes are made of 10s of tribes. It's all lies by the Polictians. If Nigeria mistakenly divides, you will all become nuisance to the world and to yourselves.

No! You are wrong! Donald Trump doesn't have a godfather, if he had, then what is his name?
Who are the people who contributed to his campaign? I'll list one of the popular organization...... The National Rifle organization(NRA). That's why despite several mass shooting in America, he refuse to sign or present a bill that will affect the organization.

There are a lot of interest group or individuals sponsoring a politician. You can't do it all alone.

No he didn't. But he made a mark. He's no longer a push over and through it he has gotten the needed connection.

The person who won my district in the house election came out from Accord party.

Votes count but not in the way most people think. Votes count to the extent that political elites wants it to. Currently in Ekiti, the governorship election is between Fayemi and Eleka. Fayose imposed Eleka on PDP while the Abuja power brokers of APC imposed Fayemi on APC. Both candidates are not the popular choice of Ekiti people but as it stands, they have no choice than to choose between the two. Whatever is the outcome of Ekiti election, it will still be a victory for the ruling political elites and not the people.

The above scenario is what the OP is trying to paint. If the people truly want to have a say in who gets elected, they must hijack the party nomination process from the political elites. Waiting till election day before making your political decision through the ballot is relatively futile as the elites have already made the decision for you during the party primaries.
You have made a powerful point but you have failed to realize that the party is the bedrock of democracy. APC and PDP are not the only parties in Nigeria. Let other candidates create or join another party. If they are indeed popular, they will get a significant vote even if they don't win.

I'll give you an example. When Jimmy Agbaje first came out, he contested under an unknown party and he got an impressive votes after doing well in the gubernatorial debate. That's why PDP fielded him in the last election.

If you are indeed popular with the people , prove it under an unknown party.
