Politics › Re: Say No To Sim Card Registration by lyfe(m): 7:03am On Jul 05, 2010 |
jamace: Why is our goverment dodgng the truth? The enemy they are looking for is within them.
Those who steal billions from government coffers and nothing happens to them. The ones who built one single toilet for N10 million and the toilet is invisible sef. What of our leader who bought a single torchlight for 70k and a single TV for N500k? Even the FG wants to celebrate Nigeria's Independence with N10b in a country where the citizens are not independent. Is this not madness and calls for more kidnapping?
To tell the truth, the govt is wasting its time on a non-issue like registration of SIM Cards. Kidnapping can not be checked when the real thieves are celebrated, throwing their agbada from shoulder to shoulder in acknowledgement. Whether, the SIMs are registered or not, kidnappings would go on if the govt does not check itself and its thieving members.
The govt should remeber the saying " If the hunter has learnt how to shoot without missing, Aneke the bird will learn how to fly without perching".
Govt! Check yourself first! So What are we saying. ~Bluetooth: how can you have national id card when you were not even 18 years as at the period of registration.what does sim cards got to do with drivers' license and others.i only related it on the basis that since the information obtained from them didnt leak, how could you deduce that information from sim registration would leak I was going to clock 18 that year,so i did the registration. Nobody stopped me. You need any of these means of identification to register the sim if you don't get it. |
Politics › Re: Say No To Sim Card Registration by lyfe(m): 6:25pm On Jul 04, 2010 |
Not only me, the whole of my local government didn't see the their national Id cards till date. I was not even 18 then. We sure need a change of attitude not from down but from top to bottom. I can count up to 20 people close to me without national Id, driver's license, Int'l passport and have close to 3 working Sim cards. |
Politics › Re: Say No To Sim Card Registration by lyfe(m): 5:35pm On Jul 04, 2010 |
Nothing but a sheer waste of time. Whatsup with National Id project---I have not seen mine till date. Voters Card-----Didn't see our names on election where we registered. Crash helmets and other various ultimatum. I am an optimist, but this won't be a success because I'm yet to see any project like this end up being successful. How are we sure that our details won't be sold out to telemarketers, and end up on the hard disk of scammers and other bidders. It should not take more than knowledgeable people like us to figure out that this scheme is solely rolled out to benefit only the riches whose families are susceptible to being kidnapped.
As for me I don't have their time let them block whatever they want to. |

Bukittes: Inasmuch as I can say that I am happy with this development, on the other hand I am not. Why is the US taking this personal? Why is it only him been banned and not all corrupt officers who has been alleged so by EFFCC or something? I want to know, if this letter addressing only aondokaa was taken to Obama and he signed just this letter? Why Why Why? Very soon they will start telling Goodluck how to sleep with his wife. First it was Iwu, now its aondokaa, what next are they going to tell us? how to rule our country? who to put in position and who to remove? I am not happy about this development at all!!!!!!!! It shouldnt have been just him. I am not happy about this I repeat!Dont they have problems of their own in US? they should face it now and leave us all alone!! All said and done sha, good for Aondokaa but I am still not happy with US Government!!! He is not telling them how to rule their country but telling them to arrange their house and not come to his country. ferdiii: They are not innocent without working hard and they are studying abroad with our money. How much is their papa salary? They won't ask, well they are doing that now. Dad, we never knew you stole and extorted from Ibori to fund all these. I knew that man is a criminal-only time will let it out. So if Nigerian Govt is good and gets all the monies back from Michael, the children won't come back to Nigeria to study? I said let Transparency Int'l demands all Govt officials' family be sent home and every developing country will be developed. That is the only thing transparent. Way forward. |

xamphara: Yes Obama, am impressed. Keep flogging the dullards, even the embarrasment he received in britain recently should have thot him lessons. Am impressed Obama, keep dealing with the badguys among us with diplomatic disdain to drive home your point, we are happy. His kids should be told what their father did. yes, they should know that they are living on filth-money, so that when they go clubbing for instance they already have the arithmetics of how many families could be going hungered for the night.we are enjoying this There should be like on Nairaland like Facebook, I like this. I suspect some people here, why would some people defend corrupt individuals if they themselves are not direct beneficiary of stashed money. They live in US and they do not know how money get into their account, yet money gets wired on weekly basis, they want freedom to enjoy life and cross boundaries as they wish. While some children of hardworking and modest people will never cross the shores of Nigeria because the parent's earnings can't sustain it. It would be unfair if Justice is meted on him alone and his children left unbanned. Check the likes of Babangida and Abacha who had stolen enough, their sons are still living exorbitant lifestyle. A friend of mine who schools/lives in Canada told me that one Babangida's son or relative lives a fly life living in a mansion and riding uncommon customized cars that even the whites godify him. Thumbs Up for Obama. This is a good move and it shows that US has Zero-tolerance for corruption, let them run to Saudi and Dubai. One day one God will catch them. |

Paypaller: Its funny how people dont read simple instructions or dont use their heads. I expect a serious person to send me a mail telling me what they want and how prepared they are and not dropping email addresses here. I have already found a good number of serious people who have taken innovative steps to reach me, establish a business relationship and we are moving on. They didnt drop their email addresses, they sent me mails telling me what they wanted and wanted to if and how i can help. Thanks for dropping your emails though. I just dont know what U want me to do with them as i have nothing to tell U and for christ sake what do i do with your BB Pin, what is that? Caveat Emptor. This self acclaimed business man should learn to use his head to communicate politely rather than spewing nonsense. I have no time here but how come someone selling Iphone 4 does not know what to do with BB pin. |
