Can Autoreportng and others pls do a post on the roads and other infrastructure in Enugu State because our Governor prefers to leave the basics and spend huge sums on paying petty image launders in Nairaland and other social media as well as and white elephant projects.

Newly employed teachers have not been payed for 7months, pensioners in Enugu State are being owed for over one year.

All the roads in Uwani, Kenyetta Road, the whole of Idaw River Layout (umuchu, Mount, Ikiriki, Omachiana, Ozalla) is amongst the worst, look at the whole Achara Layout: Awkunanaw Street, Etudo, Obianodo, Igbariam, Ubaka to mention but a few. I don't want to talk about the roads in Abakpa or the ones in Emene but remember to wear diving gears if you want to follow Annunciation HOSPITAL road or Sooil Plaza Road. Ebony Paint Road as well as One-Day road are terribly in deplorable conditions so are all adjoining roads in their respective axis.

All the link roads from Enugu-PH express are terrible: the road linking the express to and from Amaechi flyover, the road linking Enugu - PH express to and from Ugwuaji fly over, Ugwuaji road is death trap, Oji River link road to Enugu - Onitsha Express to mention but a few.
Almost all the primary and secondary schools in the state are in deplorable condition.
The State Library before Ogbete is a house of rodents and hudlums.. His predecessors left high standards that he has never come close to making a match.

Sullivan did marvelously well, look at Akwatta in Ogbete, a right thinking Governor should have made it a priority to complement Sullivan's achievements on the road by doing something to the two roads leading to and from the market knowing fully well that the place contributes considerable quota in IGR of the state. Same goes to the industrial layout at Red Cross Road at Holy Ghost and the defunct Industrial Estate at Zik Avenue after First Bank before MTN office.

Rural Communities like Ogulogu in Ezeagu, Iwollo etc will believe that Christ's second coming will happen more quickly than their roads receiving government attention.

He knows he has done nothing commensurate with the funds the state is receiving from federal government that's why he spends a lot on image laundering.

Kayode Ajulo, lawyer and rights activist on Tuesday said the Yoruba people will not vote against Alh. Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 presidential election because Vice- President, Yemi Osinbajo is also in the race.

Atiku had picked Peter Obi, former Anambra state governor as his running mate while Osinbajo will be running again with President Muhammadu Buhari who is seeking reelection into office.

Ajulo, who said Yoruba don’t vote based on sentiments said they always look at issues before deciding who to pitch their tent with.

“I want to believe that this may be the last time Atiku will have the chance to contest election, and I want to believe that he is aware and have realised this. All his steps and choices will be well calculated. The choice he made concerning his running mate is something that everyone is proud of. I know Peter Obi as a great leader who is well respected”.
“The same thing with Professor Yemi Osinbajo, he has been able to function in the office with a posture that one is proud of. Yorubas are enlightened; we discuss politics of issues, not politics of sentiment. I don’t believe picking Peter Obi will now make Yoruba vote against Atiku”.

“If you really want answer to this, you can check what happened in 1999, and what happened in 2003, despite the fact that a son of the soil from Yorubaland, Olusegun Obasanjo contested twice, and being the sitting president; you will see that where he had the least votes happened to come from his kinsmen. The political future of the Igbos look bleak and one can only pity their kindergarten political stance. When Nnamdi Kanu was disturbing the Buhari government with biafra agitations, everything seemed fine and no one cautioned him for ruining political bridges and breaking alliances. It was all about how Biafra was the best thing after bread and butter. All of a Sudden, several Igbo groups and individuals who kept mute during the days of Kanu's madness have found their voices of condemnations on their acclaimed Supreme Leader just because it threatens their chance to be the New slaves of Fulanis they love to hate.

They no longer want biafra and are now ready to kill Kanu for the post of VP. They are more Nigerian than other patriotic Nigerians at the moment and have accepted to be Zoo mates with others they referred to as zoo inhabitants. What if Atiku looses to incumbent Buhari next year? Will the igbos return to Kanu's dream of Biafra or death? Will the igbos in their usual way blame Yoruba's for their political misfortunes again in 2019? Will they accept that the Niger delta they are forcing biafra on does not share such unrealistic dream? Will they still support another PDP fulani man in 2023? Will they kukuma accept that they are political midgets in Nigeria?

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, says Nigerian workers should be clapping for the Buhari administration because it has done well for them.

Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, Ngige said the Buhari administration has been able to manage the welfare of workers in the country better than other administrations.

“Many people will not remember very quickly. In the military government, at a time, there was an embargo on employment; even embargo on promotions. When people go, the vacancies are there and the monies are returned to the coffers of the government. We are not doing so and I thought Nigerian workers should be clapping for us for that. We are promoting them (workers) as we speak; we are replacing those who have left. In fact, when people leave on high grades, we do what is called suppression and get more (people) on the lower grades. The Presidency doesn’t want anybody to be laid off; this President.” he said

The Minister went on to say President Buhari is very concerned about the welfare of workers because he was part of them, as a soldier. He said the Buhari administration has recruited 30,000 policemen and thousands of workers into various parastatals of the government.
