For those who think ibo votes will matter in SW in 2019, You are in for a shocker. Ibos will not be allowed to vote against APC in the SW. You either vote for Apc or don't come out at all. President Buhari: Anybody That Jokes With Nigeria's Unity Has A Problem With Us

President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday in Abuja declared that the Federal Government is ready to contend with anyone who is against the peace and unity of Nigeria.

''Anybody that tries to joke with the unity of this country has a problem as long as we are alive,'' President Buhari said while receiving Eze Abdulfatah Emetumah III, the Offor of Umuofor Kingdom, Oguta LGA, Imo State.

The President told members of the delegation led by the monarch, who is also the Chief Imam of Oguta that his main objective of serving as an elected public office holder is to make the country better.

''Our single objective is how to make Nigeria better and we will never get tired,'' he said.

President Buhari, who thanked the delegation for identifying with the progress made so far by this administration in moving the nation forward, assured them that their well thought out recommendations on engendering unity in the country would be considered.

In his remarks, Eze Emetumah commended the President for demonstrating his love for Nigerians and Nigeria through purposeful leadership in the last three years.

''Your Excellency, from birth you have a mission for Nigeria and you have demonstrated this in your career as a soldier, Minister, Head of State, in PTF and now President.

''You have fought for the unity of this nation and its enemies, we know very well that you won’t tolerate anything that would affect its unity and our collective existence,'' he said.

According to the royal father and cleric, it is noteworthy that under the present administration, ‘‘dissemblers like Boko Haram and other anarchists have tasted the bitter pills.''

A Nigerian beauty therapist who sexually assaulted a woman who he was treating has been jailed. Ayoyinka Oladimeji, 29, was sentenced to three years in jail and handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order at Inner London Crown Court today (Thursday, 11 October).

The Sexual Harm Prevention order will prevent Oladimeji from performing or being present in treatment rooms while treatments are being performed.

He had been found guilty of sexual assault by penetration following a trial at the same court on 6 September.

The court heard how Oladimeji worked as a beauty therapist at a clinic in Peckham.

On 12 October 2017, a woman aged in her 20s attended the clinic for a treatment. During this treatment while she lay on the treatment table, Oladimeji sexually assaulted her. She kicked out at him and left the clinic.

Oladimeji then called her and apologised for his behaviour - the woman recorded this call and reported the matter to police.

Oladimeji was arrested on 14 October and denied the allegation; during further interview after being played the recording of his phone call to the woman, he refused to answer any questions.

A Nigerian man identified as Chris Nwogu who is a member of the Daystar Christian Center in Lagos, has threatened to leave the church following a church leader, Chude Jideonwo's support for gay rights.

Recently, Chude had an interview with LITV, where he stated that he is in support of gay rights and would repeal the anti-gay law if he is elected president.

Chude is a respected member of the Daystar Christian Center, Lagos whose senior pastor is Sam Adeyemi.

''I am very disappointed in the fact that Donald Duke went on the couch with Falz and spoke courageously about gay rights and then went on to change his mouth after. I am fully in support of gayrights. If I am president, I would overrule the antigay law'' he said

Reacting to Chude's comment, Chris said Chude who is supposed to be a Christian should not be supporting gays.

He said any day Chude is allowed to come on the pulpit in the church again to teach, he would leave with his family.
