Anywho... HBO has yet to renew True Detective for a 3rd season. The Premium Cable Giant is apparently having second thoughts. It could be a cancelled show by the end of the month.

Hannibal is still cancelled, but there's a rumor swiveling that put Showtime and Netflix as probable buyers of the series. If there's some truth to this, then expect "Hannibal" to bounce back like a round ball, I'm not holding my breath though... you shouldn't too.

- Girls returns on February 21.
- Both Veep and Silicon Valley return on the same day, April 24.
- The Knicks returns on October 16

I am referring to african music instruments like the djembe,udu,shekere,mbira and the kora.The largest music companies in the world are really only interested in signing "authentic african musicians" who play these instruments or majorly encompass the sounds of these instruments and their authentic languages in their songs.That's why music artistes like salif keita,Youssou N'dour,Fela,Ali farka toure,Amadou & mariam,Femi kuti even seun kuti etc will be more recognised and respected by the grammy officials and western music consumers than all the timayas et al combined

There are some nigerian songs that deserves grammy nomination but i don't just know why they are yet to be nominated.

I know we have noise makers in the music industry but it doesn't change the fact that we have sane musicians in the music industry. Artiste whose songs will make you elated just by listening to their well integrated lyrics that is accompanied with a nice beat.

In my opinion, nigerian songs that deserves grammy nomination are:-

No ngrian song deserves a grammy.It is just a pipe dream for ngrian artistes.First of all,what genre can you categorize nigerian popular music?The only category available for foreigners in the grammy is "world music" and in "world music," you need to have music instruments in your music.How many ngrian pop musicians play their own instruments?Secondly,what international music company has signed any ngrian musician?I'm talking about sony music US,columbia records US,universal US etc not the ones in south africa.As long as ngrian musicans can feed themselves and their families,who cares if they win a grammy?They should all be content in being local champions

I don't think Boss' better than HOC at all. It got cancelled, right? There's a reason for that. I do love the grit, the big city politics of a dementia-diagnosed mayor with everything to lose, but actually calling it edgier than the best political drama on Television is pushing your luck, I must say.

I've leant a lot of how politics work in the United States and diaspora from watching HOC, however, I learnt jack shiit from watching Boss, except maybe it's not a good idea to stay in office if/when one is diagnosed with dementia. Bad idea.

Its all just for the entertainment value boss

Boss was awesome, first political series that I ever watched and it was so on point. I prefer it to HOC.. Just couldn't grasp why it was cancelled tho..

I also prefare 'Boss' to HOC.I consider it to be edgier than HOC and kelsey Grammer's(Dr Frasier Crane from the comedy show 'Frasier') machiavellian performance surprised and impressed me.The show was on 'Starz' network and their series hardly last beyond their second seasons excluding 'Spartacus' and 'Da vinci's demons' and recently 'Power'.When the cancellations of 'magic city' and 'boss' were announced by 'starz',there was an online petition by the shows' fans to return the shows but nothing came of them.The network claimed the viewership of both programs was low hence the cancellations

In-as-much as I admire FU's political competence and thuggery, he's very much a learner compared to the grandmaster himself, Baelish.

You see, unlike FU, Baelish has no discernable weak point. No real loyalty except to himself, and exceedingly ambitious. Someone like that cannot be stopped, period.

Its also difficult to tell what he truly desires unlike frank underwood.I don't blame him though to claim the number one spot,you've got to be cynical and ruthless

Season 2 episode 6.I enjoy the show so much,I re-watch old episodes sometimes twice before moving on to new ones.The program is a breath of fresh air to me because many shows this year esp those in their second and third seasons really disappointed me

Like I said earlier, Banshee is the best martial art themed TV series of the present era. If you've got a better contender, I'd like to know. Winning 2 emmys in 3 years no be beans.

The last martial art themed series I religiously followed were 'Buffy the vampire slayer' seasons 1-3 and 'Angel' seasons 1-2 but that was a long time ago.I lost interest in that genre and moved on to thrillers and drama.I do understand why it has a following though afterall the fast and the furious and the expendables franchises have made bllions worldwide and I wouldn't rate them

Starz, like other premium cable networks like HBO and showtime infuse considerable nudity and sex in 99% of their original series, so it's normal. If you think Banshee contain excess adult content, I wonder what you would say when you see HBO's 'Boardwalk Empire' or Showtime's 'Masters Of sex'.

Banshee may not be most plot-tight action drama available, but at least, it has an identity.

Are you saying because banshee has a rating of 100% by some critics and has won 1-2 emmys that automatically makes the show great?Its Just like saying modern family is a better comedy show than seinfeld because its won more emmys than the latter.I have no problem with the sex and nudity.I do enjoy the ones in banshee,magic city and GOT season 1 and 2.Banshee is an alright action show ala buffy the vampire slayer but not a great one

Lolz. I laughed at your comments. cuz it's utter thrash, no offense. There's more to banshee than the nudity and sex scenes, bruv. To know more about the major characters and their vices, you need to see the webisodes streamed between seasons, Banshee Origins.

Then as for your comment about Season 3 been directionless and the worst of the lot, you couldn't be more wrong. The 3rd season was the best of the best, where every single episode was treated as a season finale. The nonstop action sequence was out of this world - the best I'd ever seen in a series. The fight scene chereographs were executed to perfection - from the Royce royce showdown between Clay and the Indian Girl to Hood and Chayton's throwdowns.

It's not a surprise when Banshee rounded off a great season by winning an Emmys - not it's first btw.

Currently, the season holds an 100% aggregate score from top television critics, 'Rotten Tomatoes'.

What type of critics gave Banshee a rating of 100%?and who gave this show an emmy?I always held your choice of shows in high esteem but you've finally dropped the ball.Tell me o great one,apart from the sex,unclad and action sequences on banshee,what else is interesting about the show?I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone except they like lots of sex and unclad scenes

'Banshee' is the BEST martial arts themed TV show presently. 'Into The Badlands' dey learn work... it's a mere 6 episodic drama series, surely not enough to earn the 'title' just yet, don't you think?

My man,you can hype this show o.The only positive traits about banshee esp season 1 and 2 were the sex,nude and action sequences.Season 3 lacked all these.It was completely directionless until episode 8.Its good to know the show will end in its 4th season.It was clear for all to see its producers,creators et al lacked new ideas for the program
