okeyxyz: @MacDaddy is right by "Numbers do not exist" but he used a contradictory example of 70kg which of course exists. 70kg is a concrete & unique entity, it is tangible and self-existent while pure numbers are just "languages"\logical constructs and not self-existent. @MacDaddy should learn to make proper & thorough arguments, try to be consistent...70kg does not exist. Dont be foolish. It is my body that exists not the 70kg. a) On another scale, I would weigh 11 stone. Does the 11 stone also exist? What about 70,000 grams? b) On another scale. I would weigh 71 kg or even 69 kg. Does it exist? c) What exists actually, the 70 or the Kilograms? Or both? |
vedaxcool: How difficult is it to answer can Science do without numbers?Retar.ded logic from a retardeen! Science uses numbers and therefore, numbers exist? Let us examine the epic fails 1) Mirror argument- science uses a 2 dimensional model of the aerth and therefore a 2-dimensional earth exists or science uses an equator therefore, an equator exists 2) Numbers are ideological constructs, they dont exist. As a muslim, Qiblah doesnt exist in reality or can you tell me how to face Mecca from space? Qibla is only an ideology. |
I think the troll is the one who opens multiple threads a day simply to rain insults on others under various ids.
![]() Erm how does this relate to your trolling here? You miss road or something? |
vedaxcool: Atheist are artful dodgers, all trying hard to dribble their way out these ditch!Trooling on your own thread? Gaddem, you are a piece of garbage! |
vedaxcool: Still can't answer can science do without numbers? please answer with a simple yes or no.What does that question have to do with the existence of numbers? Science needs numbers of course. |
wiegraf: What question/points do you refer to, eediot? It seems you have problems making or comprehending simple coherent thoughts, I've come to expect something akin to schizophrenia from you. Probably just unadulterated stoopid though. Let's start from something even simpler, could you pls tell me what your religion is? From there we might be able to proceed.Dont mind the abusive hypocrite. |
vislabraye: That's because you don't understand Him. Unfortunately, there's no middle ground for anyone.See this wicked christian. |
Book of life is fairytales menn |
Ptolomeus: If you let me ...Thanks! I agree. However, Nigerians are too religious |
Dahbutter: In times like this all you really need is . . . DETOL! Just put 3 capfuls of fresh active detol in Maclatunji's kunnu and relax, . . . If we don't take care of him, . . . Who willlmao! |
vedaxcool: @ MacMumuOh, that thread where you were supporting Deepsight who was arrogant to call one of the best scientists in America foolish on his own area of expertise? LMAO There are limited notes/sounds on any music organ or any beat making software. Common sense would have told you that. As for lyrics, words are finite. There are a limited number of words one can use. You are limited to any language or languages you use. Numerous words but limited. As for science using numbers, does that make the numbers exist? No. Science uses many models for their calculations. There are many 2 dimensional models of the earth. Is the world 2 dimensional? No. Does a 2 dimensional earth exist? |
CrazyMan: Logic boy...Certainly numbers do not have a tangible existence in the world. Rather they exist in our collective consciousness, and yet they are not arbitrary products of our imaginations in the way that fictional characters are. What kind of nonsense is this? Numbers do no exist. Which one is objective existence? So do binary numbers exist? Does 70kg exist? No....they are ideological constructs for measurements. It is like saying square root exists or inches exist. They do not exist. Try as you want to lie but they do not exist. |
2 hours composing a thread on Islam? Well, cant say you're not dedicated.
https://www.reallyghey.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/330-bitch-please.jpg Troll harder |
vedaxcool: And the roaches must always creep off the wood work. Atleast you could have been human enough to answer the questions raised rather than hiding behind another question which is diversionary at best. All the points drawn I see remains unrefuted. You had no points. Shut up |
vedaxcool: ^Huh? Name this dishonesty or shut up! |
vedaxcool: So also does your brain not exist in real life only in measurement of stupidity can we say it exist lol ![]() Numbers do not exist. End of story. Which one is scientifically exist? What kind of mumbo jumbo are you trying, retardeen? Eternity is still an infinite with your simple definition |
MacDaddy01: d) Censorship in islam;Added is the recent movie; Innocence of Muslims |
Idowuogbo: 2055?No, it was someone else who wrote a thread that criticized islam. He was banned till 2035. |
Idowuogbo: Lmfaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolwkkkkkmmmmd!!!!!! ![]() |
JeSoul: One of the mods in this section. His user ID is 'Nairaland'.hahaha I didnt know that! lol |
It all started when I made the argument that eternity does not exist because eternity is an infinity and infinities do not exist in the real world. Since Deepsight and Anony believe that god is eternal, they had to challenge me on my stance about infinity. Deep Sight said that numbers (eg 1, 2, 3) exist in real life and they are infinite. I countered that numbers were infinite but they do not exist in real life. Anony supported Deepsight The argument is simple. Numbers are idealogical contructs we use in measuring or counting things. They do not exist in real life. Numbers are only units of measurement. |
JeSoul: Oga NL, I moved MacD's thread to your section as its a NL-related thread not necessarily a religion thread. Cheers bro.Who is oga NL? |
Deep Sight: Can anybody spot the glaring contradictions between the red, blue and green in the above? And thus, Deep Sight falls into the pit of arrogance, where proud douchebags get humbled. Do you know who made that quote? Krauss is one of the few living physicists referred to by Scientific American as a "public intellectual",[11] and he is the only physicist to have received awards from all three major U.S. physics societies: the American Physical Society, the American Association of Physics Teachers, and the American Institute of Physics. In 2012 he was awarded the National Science Board's Public Service Medal for his contributions to public education in science and engineering in the US.[12]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawrence_M._Krauss Now, on that quote; he was saying that something could come out of nothing. He was correcting the view that empty space is not "nothing". If you refer to empty space as nothing then, something can come out of nothing. |
Deep Sight: That's a load of escapist gibberish. O, and nothing is not hard to define: for people who are not trying to lie or obsfuscate issues. Nothing simply means what the word says: NO THING at all. Simple. But have we evidence or experience nothing? Empty space is something. Empty space is made up of virtual particles. Give me an example of nothing abeg if it is that easy. |
JeSoul: Ok. Are there any better ones? the OP's are quite verbose and don't quickly catch attention/get to the point in a concise manner. Good candidates for HP topics are better when they're concise. No probs |
toba: This should be posted here. The guy has suffered some injusticeToba, you too much |
Please, why was my thread moved to the general section when it is about the religion/islam section? https://www.nairaland.com/1064535/what-really-happens-islam-religion |
yes na. Lol. But what did i do to deserve the ban. Pls what did i do?
www.nairaland.com/attachments/840165_ragecomic_NL_png62abca8b618a4e33a26c43e0ced4f83f |
wiegraf: It seems you want the internets. With this post you just might get it good ser, you just might.lmao |
Deep Sight: What proof of what quantum physics shows that something comes from nothing? And yet, you would later say that's not what you are saying? Okay, if that not what you are saying, can you concisely tell me exactly why you have referred to "proof of quantum physics on the side of scientists"?But Allah came from nothing? Answer the question. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUe0_4rdj0U "Nothing" is not exactly easy to define. [b]Krauss The astounding progress of the last forty years has led us to highly developed physical theories. Why, there is M-theory, quantum field and loop theories, even relativistic quantum field theories. We have field theories for everything. Fields are responsible for all that you see: it’s fields all the way down. All these field theories taken together clearly show that stuff can arise from nothing, from natural processes. In fact, nothing can create something all the time due to the laws of quantum mechanics.http://wmbriggs.com/blog/?p=5418 I am not a scientist but that is the position of a well know scientist using quantom physics |
Help me thank God my ban just expired day before yesterday oh. Praise God
The same God that allowed the ban in the first place |
