Business › Re: Did The ATM In Computer Village Scam Me? by Madeu(m): 8:35pm On Jun 07, 2018
Blazing99:
On the 5th of June, 2018. I went to fix my phone in computer village. To pay for the phone parts, I went to the nearest ATM, at Stanbic IBTC Bank in Computer Village.

There were two ATMs, one outside facing the gate and the other by the side of the bank. While queuing on the one facing outside, a guy came to my front. I was about to tell him to join the queue but he told me that he wants N1000 notes and the ATM by the side is paying in N500 notes, that I should try there and it was free. The security man there also told me to try there.

As I was in a haste, I went to the ATM machine by the side, I tried to withdraw N10,000. The machine started taking like 5 minutes to dispense. After a while, it told me "My transaction has been completed". My card was discharged. As I was complaining, the security man told me not to worry, it would be reversed.

I had to borrow money from a friend to pay for the services. Once I got home I made a complaint via GTBank Internet Banking. The next day, I went to a GTBank nearby to make a compliant too. As at this evening, I got a response on my mail

I am now questioning, what the hell happened. The ploy for me to use that ATM seemed 90% like a setup. The ATM machine told me "Transaction completed" but did not pay my money. The security man immediately gave me hope in reversal. Now while trying to get a refund, I am being told that I was actually paid.

I am going to go on pushing GTBank so I can retrieve my money. But in the meanwhile, can someone with a similar experience or some knowledge tell me what is going on. Right here, I am feeling bloody scammed.

IN THE MEANWHILE, DO NOT USE THE STANBI IBTC ATM IN COMPUTER VILLAGE.

My question is "why aren't they doing that?" why aren't they robbing minds together? are they self-defeated? or they the lack the resource to do so?
how can they that do that when the challenge the government should thrown to them they take to the whiteman and leaving our engineers docile and unfruitful.
if they constantly see jobs to handle they'll improve... that's what I think. if you don't put what you learn to practice it becomes useless to you and your surroundings.
That's the answer.

We cannot keep blaming our independence as a result of failure in all sectors. It takes a curious mind to find pragmatic solution to problems. That's where we as a people are lacking in that regard.

To make matter worst, the technology behind this type railway engineering has been existing for centuries. It can be termed as legacy. I don't think anybody or organisation still holds patent for some of it basic components and structural design. Therefore our engineers can come together, brainstorm and handle project like this effectively.

why is it every construction work in Nigeria a white man must be involve? are they Engineers we produce yearly incompetence or we lack trust in them?
Our brain hasn't developed to that point where technical depth is needed. Imagine the previous railway track built by the British we couldn't manage, it all went into a complete state of decay with time.

Nipost is not effective. Also check with EMS, and if you don't get it, open a dispute on AliExpress. The problem with your order is Nigeria factor.

Yes, it's in Nigeria already. I experienced what you sent, until I went to check at the post office. The issue is with Nipost. When it gets to Nigeria, you are supposed to track it on Nipost website.

Since it has been despatched to overseas country, then It should be in Nigeria by now. Check at Nipost or EMS.

He does not know the title of the book came from the quotes of 'W. B. Yeats' poem the Second Coming.

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity."

These kids brain are too young to absolve harmful chemicals that's what the father don't understand from the comments. Their brain gets damage by too much exposure and develop faulty perception and unusual behaviour abnormalities.
What the father is doing is going to affect all of us, if they don't turnout well as a result of brain damage, they becomes nuisance and menace to society. Those agberos we see in Lagos, if you trace it from the beginning severe brain damaged as results of early exposure to harmful and adulterated chemical during infancy and adulthood And lack of proper nutrition.
Again this is purely child abuse! The father needs to be reported.

I thought I was dreaming when I was in Lagos. Afonja will prepare their kids for school, on getting to the main road, they will wait for 30 mins for these women that sells rice on barrow or Cart. Next u will see is d afonja mother will tell the woman to tie 50 naira rice for the kids.

Omo! This rice is purely oily with no tomatoes, no meat. The woman will spend 300 naira for the 6 kids breakfast. I use to wonder why these afonja mothers can't use that money to prepare okra soup that will nourish her children.

Laziness, poverty and I don't care attitude are the causes of poor eating habits among afonjas
I believe you lived amongst low-income earners.
This thread is interesting. Most of the comments are full of hate speeches, the mods didn't deed it fit to moderate them or find a way to curb the incessant hate speeches. It has been archived. Only time will time.

The girls will eventually be rescued. Everybody will applaud Buhari's Government on the steps taken. Nigerians will see Buhari's Government as effective and that will boost his re-election bid.
Or
The power that be don't want Buhari's second term bid. Let's do it the same way Nigerians lost confidence in GEJ government.
We are pawns in their chess game.

Maternity and child care ought to be free for everyone. On federal health care board. That is the minimum any remotely sane country should offer.
In a country like Nigeria, maternity care shouldn't be free rather expensive. We don't have population problem. What government should be working on is in controlling the population.
Celebrities › Re: I'm Still In Pain - Banky W Opens Up On Skin Cancer by Madeu(m): 10:58am On Feb 15, 2018
Jakumo:
It is highly unusual for a black person to suffer from skin cancer, due to the inherent protective nature of darker skin, in comparison to the more vulnerable lighter skin tone of Europeans, for example.

One wonders whether this gentleman has been misdiagnosed with skin cancer, given the extreme rarity of that affliction in the black race.
Banky Is not of dark skin pigmentation, rather the light brown type. It's obvious people of that kind also suffers from skin cancer.

When your burble gt bursted you'll now start saying Northerners are not intrested in education. Keep decieving yourself
"Federal University Dutsima Katsina, Federal University Gashua Yobe, and National Open University have the lowest number of applicants among the Federal Universities in the country. These were which are ranked as 38th, 39th and 40th and have student-applicants of 3807, 1897 and 110 respectively."
2017 Jamb statistics report.

Compare the level of investment in University education especially private Uni across each zone, Southern Nigeria attract huge investment in that area. Hence Southerners are interested in University education.

I don't think investment will be made in people that don't know the value of it!

How many Northerners are studying in southern universities like Unilag, UNN, OAU, UNIZIK etc? I bet none. But come to Northern universities like BUK, ABU, ATBU, KASU, UNIMAID and see how your people are getting admissions.
How many Northerners are interested in University education or even meet up with Jamb, Waec and post-Jamb score in comparison with Southerners, also willing to come to the South for Education?

The only thing I can say is for people between age of 25-35 just getting married. Dont give birth to more than 2 children or live beyond your means, unless you don't have plans for a university education for your children. Cost of educating a child is getting costly as the years goes by. Even western countries people are disinterested in breeding .
