@Queeneve don't worry  about @MOBO666 he's just attention seeking.

@MOBO444 your @Topic so boring that I cant be bothered to read it anymore.

If I can learn, help or laugh at a @Topic I read it, your @Topic doesn't fall into any of those categories, its NOT even @ROMANTIC .

SA Goddess:
What is wrong girl, take time off work if you need to, we need to recharge our batteries from time to time. Hope you feel better soon. . . . . .

I also have a forehead and would hate to mess up the hairline as it would mean double
forehead, no thanks, I got enough of that! cheesy
Yup that's it, mine really looked like it was heading down that road  embarassed

Didn't go in (went to the doctor) Thanks for your good wishes.

I think half the hair problems some of us have, we cause it oweself. My Mum only ever uses that conditioner I told you about, and then I braid it. Her hairs so nice (sometimes i add bulk hair to hers that's all).

I really thing sisterlocks or braids with add bulk hair may be your answer. kiss

Does getting the instant face lift cheesy not mess up your hairline girl?
Your too smart, it's made my hairline recede, it's also made my buck forehead more prominent.

I see what you mean in your post now  embarassed embarassed. I am not myself these days. cry cry cry.

The way I do canerow maybe the reason, I only have them at the top of my head, I pull it very tight (it draws my eyes back, gives me that instant face lift wink) I will leave it  out for now.

I don't know if she would like me to say undecided. It's really really nice, very neat sisterlocs, looks a bit different from what I see in the UK. Most peeps over here do not do sisterlocks like that, but then I've not seen that many.

SA Goddess:
Hey Gangsta. . . . .how are you doing? How is Mantra? cheesy

Don't get me wrong Ejadamen,

I love my hair natural but don't know what to do with it in terms of styling, you know when it is not long enough to plait/braid yet not short enough to look cute. . . .

I am determined to stay natural though, a break from chemicals is needed so I am sticking to this, hopefully to last
a life time! cheesy
Hello @SA Goddess good thing I saw this before I left. Theres a NLander member who's got the most fab sisterlocks.

I've seen a few girls who are just starting their sisterlocks, it looks really great. It's seems to keep all the hair strands neatly in place and looks like it does not stress or split the hair like cane-row does ( I've stopped canerowing the top of my hair because of split ends)

Maybe the girl with the sisterlocks will come over to your thread.

Gamine:
We used to believe this as kids, cause we lived near a cemetery one time
and at about 7 in the evening, as the sun goes down there's always a mournful
bark from the dogs around us. In the morning also, before the sun fully rises,
it was scary.
I hear that also, but the baying I hear comes from foxes.

Maybe the howling you heard came from a pack of dogs who lived in or around the cemetery, that's how they call out to each other. smiley smiley

Dogs are very sensitive to the environment, their senses are very highly tuned.
My family dog (we had him for 12 years) ran away the day before my dad died. He came back a week later, he was extremely emaciated, he died a week later cry cry.

@loving01, is it possible for you to get him a private tutor, he/she could coach him up to a level so that he could resit his failed exam.
Maybe you could coach him yourself. If he were able to pass this exam it might motivate him to kick start his life.

She thanked the advisors and peaced out.

@chaircover.

So your a good decorator, that's the part I love, especially making sugar flowers and painting the cakes.

Your oven temp could make or break this recipe (i stick to this because i am use to it, but find it very rich)

I know what you mean about heavy cakes, the first wedding cake i made, my mum made it into a pudding.

Yes that should be 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg.

I do not make Christmas cake for xmas,we don't celebrate Christmas.

Delia Smith recipe taste fine when soaked for about 4 weeks, the longer you leave it the better it will be.

Leaving out the treacle doesnt make it dry,the rum/ brandy prevent that.  I find treacle bitter.
Prick holes in the cake with a metal prong (boil the prong in water first) gradually pour the rum/brandy over.

Wrap the cake in greaseproof paper (never foil, it seems to taint the cake)store it in a big plastic box.

I hope you get more recipes so you can have more choice, you have a library of books.
