there are sex partners and there are lovers . If they were just flings maybe you should just reform her as she may just be a promiscuous female with lack of upbringing . But if it's lovers ie men she actually fell for and dated, then brotha you better run cos she can't stick to one man. Either way you've got work to do !!And PS, to answer your question, no, you're not safe . |
I think it would be good of you to say which visa you currently have so you can get proper answers. Is it visit, family, work visa etc?? |
Nice topic. It's good to see you're taking your weight loss seriously. I heard that changing eating habits is just as important as the active lifestyle/ exercise regimen. Self control of course is the key: hold back in eating, motivate yourself into rigorous exercise----and all that jazz. What I'm doing now is stocking up on fitness gadgets - yoga and exercise DVDs, dumbells, tummy trimmers, and now I've ordered this cool skipping thingy that you can use indoors (has removable ropes and a counter). I'm trying to build up my own little corner-of-the-room-gym . Now all I need to do is pick up the energy to actually use all these stuff!!! |
@ topic |
Hey guys, stick to the topic !! Enough about Cash in the Attic and funny bald Ainsley (love his shows tho')I've seen some crazy episodes of Come Dine; there was an Indian woman who took her own bottle of sauce to the first host's house and had the bad manners to add it to her food. The guy never forgave her even till the end of the show!! How rude to come to someone's dinner party with ur own spicy sauce, as if you're expecting to be served tasteless food!! Then there was this other Indian girl (these Indians are sooo fun to have on the show ), who made them all sit on the floor to eat traditional-style. One lady who wore a short skirt almost had all her knickers out!! No one, I mean no one, could make me actually sit on the ground to eat a flipping five course meal, are you serious?? ![]() |
It's people like Leona and Alex that keep me believing in the X-Factor. I can see Jamie and Danyl "making a career out of this" - even Olly and Lloyd have a spot waiting for them in the market. As for Jedward. . .someone said they'd be a hit on CBBC or in U.S., cos they're wasted on the British public . On a P.S. I heard Peter Andre has the hots for our Alex and wants to take her out on a date soon----hmmn; methinks he's too tame for her; she's into "bad boys" if the lyrics of her hit song is to be believed. . . . . |
Jamaican cuisine?? Yep, they get all sorts on the show sometimes. I wish some African would come on and show them some real live cooking!! Nyways, goodwill hunting for the recipe !! Nighty nite! ![]() |
Exactly! (about picking up what ever tips I can). Do you think I'd be arsed to bake a creme brulee or what ever else they cook on that show?? I watch it for the little kitchen tit-bits - who knows what you could pick up, heh?? The entertainment factor is also a plus, what with the clowns you usually get as guests. Some dine together for four whole days and swear never to talk to any of their co-diners again!! They usually end up hating eachother. Only a few hit off and promise to keep in touch. Either way, I do my best to catch my fun . |
^^^^^Who are you threatening to get me back? With a name like chic2pimp, you can never be menacing no matter what you say . If you can't take it, don't dish out . |
Pure White Linen, by Estee Lauder. That's one perf every woman should have. |
ROTFL!!! I saw that one!! Wot a WAG! She spent the rest of the time boutique-shopping, and almost forgot her pre-made food there . But I guess she won due to her classy presentation and hosting - and she was such a good liar, too, so she fooled everyone. I'm sure they saw the show later and probably want to kill her now . |
Lol @ the "took you long enough". Some people don't like you messing with their usernames, y'know (remember chic2limp ). But seriously, M.C., I heard Olly's a huge ladies' man so how the hell could he pick Stacey?? Heard he has a twin, I was thinking, wow double the fun, but from what you've said. . . . I guess I'll pass! ![]() |
So you're no real "fan" (as the topic suggests ). I'm sort of kind of like a foodie person; most of my fave programs are on food channels!! I totally never used to miss the weekly Come Dine shows, every day!! It's soo funny when the pompous food snobs end up with the lowest scores . I also like the way yu get to see into their homes, kitchen, bedrooms and even wardrobes . The comedic narrator makes it all worthwhile, too. |
Nicey. I likey . But I saw something else somewhere about you liking stuff like killing and murdering a whole family. Hope that was just literary jest |
@frank 3.16, sometimes sad stories are easier/more interesting to write, than the everyday "happy" stories. One genre I totally wish I could master is the horror story-telling, I envy writers who find it so simple to do. You're good in that aspect, I noticed. Adam is such an a-hole. Or should I say he was?? . Somehow I liked the way he is being presented: self-absorbed, heartless and uncaring. You've got a way with painting a good picture inside the reader's head, and for that I thank you .So Adam's victim no. 3 _ I hope not Michael cos he has done nuthin' wrong!!. However, Brenda is certainly going to see the inside of the police cell after this! |
Like I said, I guess all na just "LOL" (joke), so on with the topic---- ![]() |
Fhemmmy, huh, I hope we're still talking about ogbono soup here o. Because I'm beginning to read between your lines . Anyway, all na lol. |
^^^Ohhkayyy . No vex. Catch it if you still can . |
Boys II Men--------Mama |
@ nellaluv ![]() what naaaw? After teasing him mercilessly abi. The chap sez he's afraid of women, you then showed him good reason to continue. Unlike you I'm trying to help him out of his phobia . |
Hmmn @ Fhemmmy, this one you're sticking your neck out for a "brother", instead of you to advise him not to be eating different women's soup all about. Na so e dey start . A word is enough. . . . |
M.C.(hope I can call you that?? ) how many chaps is that Stacey supposed to be dating?? I thought she was with Ashton! Abeg o, she shouldn't goofinize my hot-footed Olly . |
^^^^ ![]() Gosh, you hit the nail on the head as always. He's the high point of every episode; he always has something side-splitting to say whenever any of the hosts/guests are getting out of hand. I used to watch it every afternoon, until a month ago. Too busy. |
. . . .Surprisingly Inspector Jack felt a sudden urge to hold and protect her like he would do to a daughter. But he told himself that he wouldn’t allow sympathy becloud his judgment. He looked at his fellow policemen who have decided to remain silent while he interrogated her. The interrogation was getting interesting. There must be something about this girl that is making these men leave her. . . . . Hmmn, that's true. She's beautiful, she's good-natured and sweet. So why so much heartbreak? Is there something about this Brenda that you haven't told us, frank 3.16? I can't wait to see this story to the end! |
@ illie, haba naaaw . |
ok, @ bluespice just saw ur post up there. I hardly go to that section so mayhaps that's why I've never seen your stuff. That's a deficiency I'm about to change . You'll be getting some feedback soon, defo . |
@ dbest1, never mind, I know what you mean. I know girls who are afraid of "men". In essence they dread the players and being played. Of course that doesn't mean they're lezzies or men-haters. So I get your point . |
lol, @ illie, tell 'em!! A-40 I can understand, he knows his football. But this dudu-gap or space or whateva is here on another agenda. Bgees was very good at defending my pristine honor ---but I'm glad you're finally back. YNWA o jare |
". . .Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone You'll never walk alone. . . . '' Nice!! I'll never lose hope in my team jare ----- and we'll never walk alone . |
Okay ooo, A-40 the disciplinarian . I see now that yours is positive criticism, not hate-induced. We aren't afraid to hear the truth sometimes, it's just the gloating we can't stand. That's like salt in the wound . |
Aaaw, I always knew that the JedWard-hate was an act. He was so obvious about it. Such a shame the show is now being compared to Big Brother and the likes . |
"Soft Spot"? Is that what they call it ?? Kick a man when he's down, huh?? I wish I'll have that time when/if it's your turn . |
