@iice, I'll confess that The Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite HP book, had my own copy and read it to shreds . And I've only seen the movie half-way but I could tell they did the dark, brooding storyline justice .

lol@ ibkaye, at the "wait, we'd wait some more etc ". That's how the first movie was for me, it started so well, you'd keep thinking there'd be some serious vampire action on the way. But there never was. But the actors struck me as quality material - and that's why they became so huge even after acting such a "cheesy" movie. Lesser actors would have been on the way to career ruin after such a film, lol .

@ibkaye, you're going on about R-Patz?? What about Taylor Lautner who I heard was tearing off his shirt and walking around topless at every and any needless opportunity ?? I don't want us to post any spoilers here (me self I haven't seen the film), but I heard he was annoying a bit with that. But I didn't hear you complaining, so it must have been a plus, not a minus, for the movie .

@ iice, no, HP is not about romance, more about magic, but the last one was trying to be about the former, what with everyone falling for and trying to kiss eachother and being so cheesy in the end (gosh, that word sure is catching!).

^^^Yep! Haven't had time to see it yet but even the worst critics are saying it's waaaaay above the last one - I guess they got a better director, stuck to the book, and made it more than decent. From the first ten minutes into the film(so I hear ) they achieved much more than the latest Harry Potter did in two and a half hours trying to tell us what teen romance is all about. What ever that means .

@dudu-gap, is it me you're yakking to eehh?? I hope you're not confusing me for your usual target (Gerrard etc). Please face the players and the game, not the genteel and well-mannered fans, such as myself.

R-Patz (as he's affectionately called these days) is like the biggest, hottest star right now. No bad actor can get such hype, no matter how good looking. I hope some European countries are on that list - esp. U.K. because I don't know how poor countries in Africa can be ranked so high all the time, when we have more hi-tech corruptionists in the westernised world. But I guess because of the lack of political instability in these western countries, corruption does not have the same "stark and devastating effect" that it has on the impoverished African countries .
