^^^^^^^^ Wow. You know, maybe you should. That I would like to see . Though I'm sure any football player worth his salt has his own respectable repertoire of dives. Not that I think my Stevie G. is even guilty of such . |
Lol, bgees, forgive him and his partners-in-beef, for they know not what they do. Liverpool is a gentleman's team, let us cross our legs and watch them drink our own painkillers for us. Are we bothered? Naaaaaaaah . |
^^^^^ Sooo true!! If I walk into a good, proper library I get heady with book-lust and I'm wondering which one to read first . The musty, unforgettable scent of old hard-backs as you turn the pages of your favourite book is totally orgasmic. . . . . How on earth can the internet compare to that?? |
OMG, Simon is in so much trouble . People are talking of boycotting the show, calling him a coward for keeping JedWard on instead of Lucie. There are already many hate-groups on facebook calling for his head . The X-Factor has now been re-christened the £-Factor, because that's all he seems to care about, not the real talent. Though people really should have not voted for JedWard if they wanted them to go. So who really are these JedWard fans?? I'm getting confused. If they were so hated, they should have been long gone . |
George D, no let this your come-chop mentality putu you for trouble ooo . But seriously I have a big heart - I mean pot, so there's always plenty to share - even for a chronic soup-lover like you . |
^^^HA HA AHA HA HA AAHHHA HAHA Sorry but that was really funny. It's nice to know we still have our sense on humour even in these times. By the way, YNWA . |
@mi2009, you said you take marriage seriously. It's obvious he doesn't do the same. He sounds like he thinks marriage is a pair of socks you discard after wearing. I don't advise you to let him change you into what you're not in the name of "marriage". But you can consider it over time, very carefully. |
oh, yippeeee .I can hardly wait but let's take this elsewhere to avoid derailing frank 3.16's thread . |
Yep. Used to watch it all the time. Celebrity Come Dine is nice too, esp when the celebs know how to throw a good dinner party. I watch it mostly for the few cooking/dining/hosting tips. Nice programme anyway. |
That figures! I always know it when I see it--but how come you stopped? Forget the NL gra gra, jare. There's love/joy in sharing . |
Only the "night"?? Huh, @ Fhemmmy, the best soup should make him permanently forget the way back to his house . Competition iz nada, like they say. Don't test me . |
frank 3.16, I've read it through now. I can't wait to see how Brenda is going to get out of this. Heartbreakers need to be punished but this is so unfair .bluespice definite difference subtle yet apparent good or bad. . . . Even your critique/analysis sounds so poetic . I'm sure you write, you just don't wanna share it with us. Yet . |
lol@ Fhemmmy, "so he can never be without soup ". |
If this is true then they should please slap themselves to a coma for all I care. Though I wish it was Rep-to-Rep slapping and not Rep slapping the secretary, gateman, driver etc. I wouldn't advise a lady to slap any man back o shaa, because it the man should start doing blow for blow she'll never make it . |
If you heard it on cool fm then there's prolly a grain of truth. Was watching one of his old movies with Sandra Achums just last night. Hope he's going to be safe o, one of my fave Naija actors. |
@ illie pls don't cry or else me too I'll start crying ooo . Look on the bright side tho', there's always room for improvement. Unlike some teams who are a hopeless case . |
frank 3.16 How can?? I always look in though I don't read the text itself; you see I wanted it to become plenty(excuse my naija lingo ) so that I can read a long instalment and save myself the painful suspense .It's plenty enough now so I'll make sure I read it. You know your writing is very natural, one of the most real in the Lit section so I'm actually learning from the experience too. Keep it up, chap. I'm still here . |
They are both ruffians but if I had to choose, I mean if I was held at gunpoint, hmmn(LOL). . . . .Majid looks hotter in pix but on screen, Van is cuter . |
George D, do wot?? You want my soup, you want Gamine's soup, you want to give lovemoi2 your soup---haba!! Men like you can marry more than two wives so you can enjoy plenty of assorted soups . |
Veg is veg. No rule against eating with anything. It's just your own personal preference I believe. Okro or okra is popular even to the Western cuisine. They dislike the gelatinous effect and sometimes don't even chop before cooking it. Where as for Nigerians the "draw draw" is just why we like okro and we chop it up so finely that it comes out in a thick, delicious mess .@ George D Dat's right. You can change anything, I'm sure, all in the name of good food . |
Death to the very idea . Even if I'm safely in the same house to keep watch . That girl would prefer to sleep under the bridge than dare face my wrath by thinking of staying when I'm away/around. Stranded indeed. |
bluespice ---tell jay bee I have a phobia for people trying to help me close my mouth with their own . |
Okies. My mistake. (my mouth is still hanging open.) . |
"It is no more news that Nigerians are disillusioned and disappointed with President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua's 30 months administration. The thought of articulating critical reasons in order to suggest resignation to the President has been on my mind since this administration marked its two (2) years anniversary on 29th May 2009.Those two years were devoid of any achievements except unfulfilled promises riddled with a sick, rudderless and confused leadership. The TELL magazine September edition cover story “Is Nigeria a failed State?”,reminded me once again of the need to call on Mr. President to resign given the decrepit state of the nation which is still on the decline." How apt. You're only saying what we have all been thinking. What a joke the nation has become. Your point no. 10 really got me thinking that does it really matter (the international community et all) and I realise it does, more than some of the others on your "10-point discourse ". |
Ok babes but before I forget maybe you should check your bottom siggy ----you love your "cream colder and your gays flaming"----Don't you mean guys?? Lol.Don't mind me jare, I've got a thing for spelling errors. Not a phobia but I always comment when I see one . |
"Real" Talents?? Kenny_G, I wonder who that could be?? Danyl is good, but not that good. Olly is a respectable contestant; he delivers. Jamie is cool, can't fault him for now. Lloyd is just the poster boy of the show and Joe is the one with the peerless voice. But the real talent was Rachel and Lucie and they're gone now===shrug=====. |
^^^^^^^^ LOOOL Someone pls call the doctor----bluespice is having a phobia-induced fit right here on NL .Relaaaax, ok?? It's just your imagination . |
yeah, Simon is acting up as usual. He's losing public respect as it stands. Loui has some clowns jumping around the stage every week in the name of being the next big thing. I can't wait to see what they release once the show ends. No one listens/buys songs that JedWard could ever want to sing. They're like a couple of white Bobby Browns and he is sooo nineties . |
bluespice, it was @AYOANU who said something about fear of onions. Lol at the "crawlies" - that's the exact word I was looking for . It's just on the TV, I always tell him - at least he doesn't have it crawling all around him on the ground !!! |
I noticed a long time ago that Lucie lost her initial spark after her first fantastic audition where she sang "I Will Always Love You". She became confused about her identity, from dyeing her hair to changing her singing style to be comparable to the likes of Avril Lavigne and co. Also, it could be that the public are busy voting for all the hunks on the show, who I always knew they'd have the staying power more than the girls or groups. Stacey is the surprise last girl standing - but I'm sure she'll be gone before any of the guys. Watch out for an all-male finale, people .@bluespice You're acting like it's a marathon or something - asking who's in the "lead", lol. All I know is that JedWard are going to be with us for a loooong while. |
LOL at all this fear of onions, holes-in-cheeses etc. Don't you guys mean you just hate onions and cheeses with holes?? There's a difference you know .Hey, I know some one who "hates" the sight of many crawling things moving all at once, in one place, ie ants or bettles etc. He can't watch those horror movies or any films that has them too much. Like in The Mummy and stuff like that. He just runs out of the room at the sight of them . Makes me laugh . |
