Discrimination is inevitable everywhere; it's a human thing. Even among people of the same race, there are many forms of discrimination- just look at Nigeria for an example. Blacks need to realize this and grow a thick skin, just like the Asians did. Come back to Africa and fight for it's development. Stop worshipping non-negroids and celebrate ourselves. Create respect for yourself and others will have no choice but to respect you as well.

The risk of fanaticism is inherent in every religion. The problem with Islam is that Mohammed (in the Quran) did not just recognize this risk, he did everything he could to encourage his followers to become fundamentalists themselves. Historically, I understand why: he had to it was a life and death issue between his followers of his fledgling philosophy and the massive 'pagan' society about them at the time. This was about 1500 years ago. Times have changed and the world has moved on, but the religion is struggling to due to the largely conservative and oppressive nature of the beliefs and tenets contained within.
