Kachisbarbie:Your family friend is correct. Legally a married woman's state of origin and LGA reverts to her husbands. That is why Patience Jonathan could be a perm. sec. in Bayelsa state, whereas she's from Rivers. |
bissiegreat:Sorry abt the bad experience in ur first relationship my dear. Its really not easy to bear a heart break, especially when u put in ur all with sincerity. I believe one of the keys to healing is to understand and accept dat the breakup cannot be 100% ur fault alone. Dat way u won't have to blame urself for too long , and u can move on wit a free conscience. Also u have to realize dat human beings are always imperfect and can fail u even if they don't mean to (and dat includes even u too). Dis helps u in a new relationship to give allowance for ur partners weaknesses, and not place unrealistic expectations. U have to understand above all dat no one holds the keys to ur happiness but you! Happiness grows from within u and then radiates outwards to all around u. Everyone is attracted to a happy person because they also crave the same happiness in their lives. By discovering ur internal 'happiness spring' (as I like to call it), u will attract like minded ppl who will luv to stay and bask in the warm glow of ur radiant personality. Of cos after that its only ur good character and selflessness that will keep them as good friends (or partner) for life! Hope this helps some... ![]() |

Laid2001:Bros I'm not crying over anything here, just responding to a comment made by the guy I quoted. Jonathan conceded defeat already and we are in buhari era now, no doubt abt dat. But for how long is this govt going to continue blaming GEJ for their inability to deliver the so called "change"? Assuming jonathan was still in power, wouldn't oil prices have dropped as it has now? On the issue of owing IOCs, doesn't it even slightly occur to u dat there may be more to the situation than meet the eye? Have u taken out time to find out the reasons behind certain actions (whether good or bad) d man took while in charge? Making statements like "he ruined the economy and looted the treasury with reckless abandon" is so grossly wrong and only displays unnecessary hate for d man. At least we know dat some of the good economic points buhari has scored so far was actually inherited from GEJ policies, so awry goes ur theory. |
doctokwus:Ok I'm not trying to stalk by quoting u twice today, but ur above comment smirks of so much unnecessary hate for the man GEJ. Without showing any proof or evidence to buttress ur sentiments, u have unceremoniously portrayed him to gullible minds as incompetent and good for nothing. Why the hate bro?? Yes I agree that GEJ got it wrong on some fronts, especially with some of the ppl he "entrusted" with responsibilities, and I also think he was not tough enough in dealing with boko haram. But that still doesn't take away the fact that GEJ made a lot of giant strides in the areas of infrastructure, education, ICT and health....and on top all that he was detribalized. He knew wat it took to be a leader in a culturally diverse country like ours. If GEJ was so bad and detestable like u would have us believe, why is he still bagging humanitarian awards and accolades all over the world for his contributions as president? Or would u say that those giving him those awards are misguided or incompetent too? I ask u again bro.... What exactly do u have against GEJ that u display such hate openly? Meanwhile u find it so easy to make the above bolded statement, and not realize that it can go both ways. Smh |
doctokwus:The truth is, GEJ may not have been very smart politically or even 100% corrupt free (neither is PMB by the way), but he was a president with a good heart, albeit naive. That was why he could gladly focus development mostly in the north and south west regions, even at the detriment of his own SS and SE....just to show that he was a de-tribalized president FOR ALL that didn't mind who got "served" first. Well it turned out his sucking up to those northern and yoruba oligarchs was a grossly incomplete move. He should have, as a matter of utmost importance, carried the SS and SE along with same measure. If he had, I believe the number of votes he got from those regions would've been even higher. But despite his glaring ineptitude at times, the ppl still saw the kind and humble man beyond all that and would rather vote for him than an arrogant, self seeking, power hungry maniac who bullied his way to power with veiled threats of bloodshed and fake "change" mantra....deceiving a whole lot of Nigerian youths, many of whom are regretting now. I'm not surprised at his manner of ruling tho, cos it was to be expected. Its becoming almost inevitable now that Nigerians would split beyond repair along tribal lines, if PMB continues to toe this dangerous path of selective appointments and non inclusive government. I sincerely hope he realizes on time the danger he is encouraging and perhaps even dismissing as irrelevant. Only time will tell. |

kaeforum:Hmmm...really? How affordable are we talking abt here. But I'm not sure if I can handle manual now after being so used to automatic. |
mayor2013:Tanx bro. Do u have an idea how much a replacement would cost? Yea I didn't change d oil cos honestly, it never rily occured to me to. Now I've learnt a lesson I won't forget in a hurry. |
Hi guys, so I drive a '94 mitsubishi space wagon 2000 GLXi with automatic transmission. Unfortunately I hadn't changed d transmission oil for yrs and d gear system packed up. The situation now is dat the car doesn't move at all...not even an inch, regardless of how much u push down d pedal. A mechanic I showed it to suggested dat the ''wiring" of the gears (wateva dat means) must have worn out but could possibly be repaired by a gearbox specialist, and he recommended one. Another person told me its best to just replace the gearbox entirely, but it could be quite expensive. Pls guys I need ur advice here. Has anyone had such experience with this particular car and how did u resolve it?? Any idea how much the gearbox for that specific car costs, and any reliable place I can get it?? I anticipate ur replies, thank you. |

Toks2008:Hmmm I can relate to this. I remember one time back in school a "platonic female friend" passed d nite in my room (we had been watching movies and gisting till late). I swore in my mind not to misbehave because of our friendship and despite the mad rush in my brain, I composed myself. But dis babe kept tossing and turning and inching closer to my side of d bed, almost flinging her arm at my junior member! O boy, I quickly turn face wall till morning. Brethren dat was d last time we ever gisted or hanged out like dat ever agn, and to make matters worse the rumours started flying abt dat urs truly was a weakling...ehn!! Me wey dey teach men skills? Anyways fast forward to my service year, and another "friend" came by my kaban. This one is a close family friend so u can say she should be more like a sister to me...for where?? D girl curves na 'kill and bury' o! She was visiting her friend in a university in the neighboring town and "just happened to remember" dat I was serving in dat state so she called just to say hi...(like seriously?) Of cos I sharpenly picked up on her signals and compelled her to visit me b4 dreaming of travelling back or else... Long story short she was glad she came, we had a fun time at my ppa and she wore my boxers and t-shirt to bed, hmmmm....wat to do now? At first she face wall and I face rug, but then I just zero my mind say if she resist too much I'll let her be. Her resistance didn't last past 10 seconds! and it was one of the best ever....tension released for both of us! She's married now with 2 kids and we're still best of friends, no strings attached. We talk abt dat day sometimes tho and she fondly joked one time dat she never thot I'd have the liver to make a move on her, and was pleasantly surprised wen I did! Needless to say, my chest still swells at dat comment.Moral of story...learn to read d signs from ur so called 'platonic friend' wen next he/she is around u. They just might want more dan ur giving but too invested in the friendship to voice out their desire ![]() |
prettythicksme:Just talk say u dey pray for 2016 husband...lol ![]() |
