The most important job today I say goes to Fred, he made sure KDB was not allowed to roam freely.
Assuming Fred was sloppy, we would have been punished. He did a good job, reducing the work load for others.
The only time KDB stole away...1 goal down!

The Coach is never wrong. It is not easy doing the job. If I knew better I probably would be doing his job.

Win or Lose, you can't stay on the sideline and say the coach made mistakes, that is my point.

Most of us are finding it difficult figuring out our own life, but we think we can do a better job when another person is doing it.
That mentality always baffles me.

Our 1st growth came out of straight losses.

Since we started winning, only Rashford is moving beyond that 1st growth.
Maybe we need some couple of serious losses to nudge us forward.

Winning beclouds growth. Losing is good.

My question is about individual players. Aside Rashford who else is getting out of his phase 1?

Also, most players improved. Dalot improved. Wan-Bissaka did too. Luke Shaw is light and day from last season.

The players who have not improved have not regressed (except Elanga perhaps)

We've gone past the general team improvement phase, that is phase 1.
We've been stuck there for awhile. The only person that seems to be coming out of his 1st phase is Rashford.

He still shots upandan, but has increased his accuracy.

Is any other player coming out of his phase 1?

The only person that has improved is Rashford. His conversion rate is better now.

I have always said Messi is more talented. It’s not a knock on either of them. It is what it is. The only reason Ronaldo made this thing a debate for so long is cos of his almost psychotic drive.

This is in no way a knock on Messi who also had to work hard to fulfil his potential. They both drove each other to heights they otherwise wouldn’t have reached.

I'm mean, this is a guy that scores screamers and goals as at May. Scoring 18goals in one of the most competitive league in the world (no mean feat).

How did a player who scores wonderful and consistent goals as at May now become so bang average at both club and country come August - December same year?

1st thing that affected him is change of play pattern. From Day 1, it was obvious Ronaldo can't play ETH style of football.
2nd, bros is no longer in form, maybe he would have adapted...adapt or die. It happens everywhere.
