The federal Government through EXECUTIVE ORDER 7 is about to forfeit #241.6 billion in the form of tax payment relief spread among this 6 companies

China Road and Bridge Corporation Nigeria Limited;
Nigeria LNG Limited;
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc;
Unilever Nigeria Plc;
Lafarge Africa Plc;
Dangote Industries Limited

I arrived at this number as world bank data suggest that it cost $866,000 to construct a kilometer of road,4 of these companies are listed on the NSE, we already know that one of the companies (Dangote) has a construction subsidiary, Two of those are major manufacturers of raw material(cement) for road construction...The major Construction Company in the mix China road and bridge is known for Subsidized road construction when compared to the likes of Julius Berger ..... Pending any unforseen circumstances, I for-see a good 2019 for these 4 companies........

As we chop our 2018 dividends eyes are fixed on the amount these 4 companies will pay as tax starting from quarter 1.......

Most of the roads covered are major roads that leads factories where these companies operate.......

Goverment have a history of inflated road construction budget...........

The shareholders mainly appreciated the board and management for running the company well. In fact, they were impressed with the financial results and challenged them to do more in 2019FY. Boniface Okezie really praised Tony Elumelu at the meeting.

We are compiling our report on the AGM and should be uploaded soon. I will share the link here when published.

Good day all.
Please I have some shares from different companies I bought through different stock brokers and through IPOs. I don't use any stock blocker currently by I have opened an account with Morgan capital. Is there a way I can bring all my stocks together to be managed under Morgan capital?
Thanks.
Yeah, You will fill some forms @ Morgan, Pls get your account number and chn Number from the various stock broker or better still get your most recent cscs statement from those brokers take them to morgan and follow their instruction, as for the IPO they need to be dematerialised by morgan.........Anyway you are in for a long walk but it will be done faster if you have all the time to spare

One of the best advices you can take from this thread is from Sir Wanajo "Approach all Stock investment as if you were the owner of the company." Unlike stocks, in most other businesses you are stuck in either a winning or a loosing position so most owners strive their best to put their businesses in a winning position............
I always apply "The prudent man law when trying to analyse the actions of management especially Nigerian Banks", I have not read Access Reports but from What I can decern lately the Management concluded rights issue about 2.5 years ago, within the space of 18months merged with a commatose bank(their reason we love their retail customers), Now they recently signed up a Syndicated Loan arrangement with a consortium of Lenders(even creditors are wary of them as no one lender is confident enough to give them all the money they need to run the new emerging Mega Bank)............

What ever happened to organic Growth.....

Access has kept diluting owners interest in the bank reducing shareholders share of profit continously for the past 5 years.........If you are a shop owner would you keep finding new owners for your small shop space...... I over heard in some of GT and Zenith conference calls that they are not willing to take on more debts as some of their major debts reached maturity this year.......

Anyway I await access at #2 junction post merger and after the release of second quarter results... Thats my own safety net

But since i have other companies with them, they will use the information the mandate my account.

Thanks
Its high time one start educating oneself on all this Financial English, they can trap your money with you being helpless without the right information....eg

Your account has not been mandated...
You need to indemify us that..............
You did not fulfil the requirement for full indemity.......

You can add yours.

I haven't received the dividend and bonus. I will have to call the register.

But I thought Bonus should go directly in to the Stock broken account.
One reason I caution against frequently selling off all of ones holding and buying same stock back later,,, any way if it appears on your cscs account they have paid, if not find out from your registrar........While having same issues with mrs, I showed my cscs account and my trading account to the trading house and they told me that I have not "mandated the account" grin .. I laughed in my mind as completing e-dividend form has become a routine any time i visit my broker..... I sha completed it with one other paper where there was space for the brokrage house to sign and went back home, it was credited to my account after some time

House, I have watched Union bank for some weeks now at #7,,,,,, I bailed out at 6.90 with about 30% profit and it does not want to go down.....Can you imagine union bank dragging shoulders with UBA......I only regret not shedding weight in wema as I had chance to bailout at 0.98k with more than 95% profit...... If Wema does not declare profit I will cry over that missed chance

Oga, Not all Oil wells.

Just OML 11

Operation of OML 11 has been in contention. Ogoni people kicked out Shell from the oilfields and have refused them entry. Other indigenous operators are joustling for it.
This can be the first step in a series of process to get this field back to full production, I read somewhere of a local ogoni chieftain trying to acquire the field so that Ogonis can own it...... I will have to dig deeper to know if transcorp has paid the sum Shell was asking for.........Also the federal government does not really want to operate the field, they own 55% of the joint venture so this move is kind of a way to establish smooth operations of the field.........

Info will always be the key, brothers and sisters lets keep this alive

I have always known that the rise of boko haram is connected with the drilling of oil wells in the chad basin and benue trough,,,,,.....I Believe the buhari administration is fustering their posterity as they might have hit a massive oil well......The cover up is that they are doing it for our country Nigeria.............

UACN, closes period about to declare massive loss, majorly because of poor sales by my analysis, UACN attributes it to poor working capital to buy hedge the cost of grains......They did a successful rights issue to prop up their working capital......waiting for UACN @ sub #6 , the market will react badly to the result, insiders have already seen it and are balling out.....We wait with crossed fingers.

Zenith is not crashing 22.55 + 2.50 ( dividend) = #25.05. It was markdown to 22.45 yesterday, meaning that at 22.55 it gain 10 kobo from its markdown. Zenith will soon go back to #24/25.
zenith will go down to like say #19......I say this as i have a feeling that top traders can rove through dividend paying stocks @ little commission and trading charges qualify for dividend and bail out....I am still trying to formulate a strategy for this cos I think it is only during earnings period that one can say he is guaranteed profit for sure
