helpyom: Oga For whatever u say mind u, there are a million and one meaning that u imply which u may not be voicing out...... First and foremost thank u for implying that millionaires and maybe billionaires grace this thread 2.) u seem not to understand the weight of ur request, many of us here are averse to even our wives seeing our account balance not to talk of a handing a total stranger ur bank statement........ Seriously, I want to believe Oyedepo laid hands on u cos ur request bold gan 3.) Do unto others what u do to urself. As a true Nigerian can u release ur bank statement to someone u have no personal relationship with other than brief meetings on social platforms........ 4.) my dear calm down, use this energy well off line, the fact that u have paid part of ur tuition means u or ur family is probably well to do....... Getting a statement of that magnitude is not beyond ur circle, do whatever it would take offline to achieve ur dreams even if it means kissing ass. 12 Likes |

Nigerians will pay with their health for the refinery, many drug companies are already preparing, Banana island and lekki are just stone throw away......This inhabitants already can pay It will boil down to this: If you value your health over money you leave Lagos but if u value money over your health you stay 6 Likes |

The beauty of a faceless forum is dat one can mask under the handle of a user name, ask pertinent questions and get solutions to ones problems that might have costed an arm or a leg if one has visited a consultant BUT BUT all too often we see people trying to get personal, wanting to get phone numbers and mail addresses forgetting "The true nature of close face to face relationships" Until Kata Kata burst Then we now have a plethora of character assassination......... Please let's learn to be civil, keep private discussions private, don't let stuff out into public space when the going goes sour, when you probably would have kept quiet if all had turned out well 12 Likes 1 Share |

For those that keyed into zenith during covid-19,,,Happy first anniversary of dividend chopping with capital appreciation This year I have a feeling it's UBA that will perform the magic.......UBA will be purnished severely for reducing dividend payment.....I see it coming down to the realm of circa #4....... That's when we plan the swoop..........I see UBA giving a total dividend of 0.80k this year I want to believe this will happen towards the close of second quarter when the likes of Dangote cement are paying dividend ...............caveat: I'm just thinking out aloud 1 Like |

Biafran4life: there are lots of enterprising folks hustling trying to make ends meet..................... Let me give an example, when the price of Keke marwa was getting out of hand, someone out there probably in Ladipo came up with the Idea of bringing in this Suzuki hijet buses from Japan as tokumbo replacement for keke, a risk that finally paid off as it is priced in conjuction with new keke.......................... At inception I once priced this buses for 100k and the seller would sell gladly to me, something you cant get now for 900k One thing with free markets is that people will come up with solutions, You will be suprised 8 Likes |

Im not claiming anything, what Im saying is that whatever makes the govt of developed countries trying to phase out petrol and diesel engine cars from their roads will also trickle down to Africa ............... Im not a scientist to start advocating the advantages of one form of energy over another, what im saying is that this technologies that are touted to replace engines are filtering in gradually to the streets, Solar is just an example that I have seen being used daily around me with laymen advocating its efficiency over Nepa and petrol generators.......................... The more this tech gets cheaper the more the adoption, the more you see them in Africa .......... 4 Likes |

ositadima1: Lets not drag on the numbers or the technology that would replace oil, its not in my place to say anything on that but the practical example i gave should show you that the world is heading somewhere, " the normal electrical store usually possess 1 i pass my neigbour Generator to test bulbs, DVDs, and sundry that customer buys, the fact that many have moved to solar tells me this traders have seen something practical in it...................... This definitely is revenue loss both for NEPA and Oil traders........... Africa will definitely not be left behind, rather i would say maybe Africans would use technology of lower quality, If Apple phones are too expensive, we use tecno and itel and not grand mama telephone Me and You know that Yankee Coke taste better than Nigerian Bottled Coke, but Coke na still Coke, Africans are not drinking Zobo and calling it coke 6 Likes |

ositadima1: So also Africa, If u go round streets this days, most shops are installing one form of solar or the other, No viable small scale electric shops use Nepa or "I pass my neigbour Generator" again............ The death of internal combustion Cars in Europe and America spells doom for such devices in Africa....... I once heard Students of a nearby polytechnic discussing the advantage of that #1000 solar charger to "I pass my neugbour" Generator.... Secondly, the people solving this fundamental problems are not Africans, I dont see Africans today using the morse code, telephone or even Fax, Africa moved with the world to the use of internet communications, one would have expected Africa to be using this outdated technologies 3 Likes 1 Share |

ositadima1: Massive investment such as Dangotes refinery usually recoup their investment in 20 to 25 years but Dangote probably wants to recoup his in 2 years........... Dangote knows he faces an existential threat from renewable energy, while we Nigerians wallow in our pitiable state of fuel price increase...... The refinery targets mostly pms and diesel, the current opium of the Nigerian and west African markets 4 Likes |

ahiboilandgas:Dangote once mentioned that he can only invest in businesses that international majors divest away from or are not interested in...... This is a very good strategy for a big business originating from one of the most corrupt countries in the world.........Every Tom Dick and Harry knows that the likes of Dangote can never take on the likes of Shell, BP or Texaco in their hay days......... This companies gradually divested away from oil and gas........ Well managed firms that learnt well from the Americans are also doing the same currently, you can imagine the likes of The Saudi Royal Family taking the likes of Saudi Aramco public and agreeing for the public to have a share of this sugary cake............ My dear Dangote is about to finish the scraps and he has got only 10 years to recoup his investment The likes of London even Beijing have announced the end to internal combustion engines in the year 2030........ Germany is seeing a rise in unemployment as generations that have depended on the German car industry go out of business.......The internal combustion engine need about 3000 parts crafted to high tolerance and has depended on Germans for generations to come up with solutions compare it to the new tesla electric engines that need fewer than 150 component parts with lower precision......... Dangote refinery might end up being a cog in the wheel of the Nigerian adopting better and safer technologies as the govt will definitely want him to recoup his investment Dangote is definitely not the Messiah 4 Likes |

Dum20: I think its generally the nature of the banking business.......... Banking is generally the easiest business to do, if you can scale through regulations, Its also the fastest way to loose your entire wealth.......................... The bulk of Banking assets are really just numbers on some servers, These numbers are even worth more than the servers they reside on, any head wind that threatens the reality of this number spells catastrophe for the business....... That is why the best time to buy banking stocks is not now but during headwinds like covid-19, Ebola scare, Financial melt down, hurricane Katrina, |

This things are hard to quantify in terms of money and material stuffs, but when values like respect, trust, friendship and community building are at stake please forget women, they got their place in the scheme of things but not what the modern world is trying to force us to swallow |

Tottenham problem in this match was glaring when Bale entered,Bale is a strong 2 legged player but aged, the bulk of Tottenham first 11 are right legged players, they were no match for 2 footed players littered in man city, murinho definitely knows this and would correct it with time, U guys should wait till pep beats Bayern, athletico and barca If Bale was younger and was 3 on that pitch, John stones, would b exposed and zinchenko won't have as much impact |
