The accident investigation bureau(AIB) has finally released the report on VP Osinbajo’s Helicopter Crash.
Their findings;

• Crash was clearly caused by brownout(an in-flight visibility restriction caused by dust or sand in which the flight crew loses visual contact with nearby objects that provide the outside visual references necessary to control the helicopter near the ground)
• Caverton did not conduct site survey of the landing field prior to flight, including a broader safety and risk assessment of the landing area prior to the dispatch of the flight.
• The bureau could not run any assessment on the pilots and according to the weather report obtained from the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET), the prevailing conditions were good, but that the aircraft hovered to land in a brown out condition.

Finally, as part of a precautionary measure to avoid a repeat occurrance, the bureau has recommended the issuance of advisory circular by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to all helicopter operators in Nigeria to be alert to the possibility and effect of brownout or haze.

This should put to bed the thinking that CAVERTON HELICOPTERS(an arm under the Caverton group) may be sanctioned !!

https://t.guardian.ng/news/vice-president-osinbajos-helicopter-crash-avoidable-says-bureau/
Yeah right,,,,,I sha know that Root cause analysis is a joke when performed by blacks as evidenced in all places i have worked....l really thank God that the vice president life was not at stake.......Going forward the vice president should please keep patronising Caverton.......I know they will surely get the Helecopters OEM to ascertain the true cause and prevent future occurence

you chose a better option.check the following stocks for only capital appreciation or for both dividend/capital appreciation.
Gtb,zenith,stanbic.

These three are the market leaders in the financial services.They will also be the leader in any bull as we are expecting..........you are sure of 10-15% return within this first quarter of 2019.

consider the three first before others.
Talking capital appreciation im doing about 27% now on wema, im waiting on announcement from management, no dividend and i will sell the very next day,they promised shareholders dividend at last years agm

Again, if u are an investor on board CAVERTON, there is absolutely NO need to fret or panic !!
HOLD on tightly to ur shares and be overprotective of it. ...infact, the coy is presently so UNDERPRICED that the ONLY wise thing to do should be to look to ACCUMULATE more.
At Friday's closure price of N2.20, the company presents the potential for an over 204% price appreciation. Discounting for any and all risk, the equity price of CAVERTON should have NO business selling for below N6.70 !! ...pegging it as one of the CHEAPEST quoted coy(if not the cheapest) on the exchange !!

Remember;

"If u want to know whether u are holding onto the RIGHT stock(s), run a check to see if its still a business that 'the world loves' and WHY they love it. ...then, find out if u ought to chose it ahead of any other"
~Sinclair

"There are basically 2 great days in a person's life;
The day u were born, and the day u discover why u were born.
In the Stock market, that 'discovery' is tantamount to knowing why u are where u are, and having a sound reason for been there.
...for if u do not know why u are in the market, then u probably won't know why u should succeed in it."
~Sinclair

"In the stock market, SUCCESS is 1% what u have and 99% what u are.
...It's the product of what happens when u can continuously apply INSIGHT with running the race to EXCEL without let down."
~Sinclair

As for me and my household, we shall definitely look out to ACCUMULATE more where need be.
Cheers.
A valuable piece of p.p.e is now in the doldrums, something that should b contributing to 2019 topline.......Abeg who can tell us the insurance company to caverton as we prepare to take position, it will definitely not be easy on caverton price in d next 3 months

We are taking about the VP here,number 2 man in government.

They will be thoroughly investigated and there will be limited use of their Aircrafts, until the investigation is over.

Even multinationals will be sceptical about their operations.
The moment we start seeing and valuing humans as humans we will move forward as a nation, the accident could have involved anybody but the vp was unfortunate to be the one involved this time. ,.. But I still insist that if this issue leads to a revoke of license then no Nigerian company can become great in aviation.......We learn as humans from errors like this

That's not true oga. It's either you did something wrongly or you did not fill and submit your e-dividend form.
You dividend goes into your bank account and not to trading account.
If its bonus, it will be automatically added to your portfolio once its payment date. Please check well and know where the issue is coming from.
My brother the devil is in the detail and to perfect strategies to counter little things that might look so trivial e.g. 3 years ago dangsugar declared dividend, i sold all my holdings 3 months after books were closed, no dividend was paid I now have dangsugar which i rebought a year after on enquiry, names might appear the same but anytime u sell all holdings and rebuy ur account number changes, i did not submit ediv form early enough for the old acct no so thats pending.....................That money is hanging somewhere in the financial system earning juicy interest for someone and to retrieve it would be a herculian task..........

One of the benefits of Morgan. Once you sell you can buy with the fund immediately not that someone will wait for 3days for the fund to clear before you make use of it again. Although I knew of another house that allowed this as well.
There are disadvantages too especially if you are a dividend hunter....The disadvantage is you will forfeit dividend and bonus that may accrue to you if it were a well to do stock.........I still have some unclaimed dividend and bonus but cant access them because I did not do paper work involved during trading frenzy.....So you see you cant eat your cake and have it, Most stocks traded on NSE by volume are dividend stocks

A little deviation.......

The masses are usually led to forget fundamentals, thats why the black Nation is where it is today,Europe and the Caucasian race became what It is today because the environment there forced them to make things work, If things dont work People die in their droves, rewind back to the middle ages, U will see that a community that does not gather wheat in summer and make bread or sauerkraut will surely die off in winter, the environment forced them to always prepare for winter, The system works in the Europe because Things dont work mass extinction might be staring a people in the face.............

Now coming down to Africa,,, especially sub saharan Africa, the fundamentals is different, U see food is so plentiful you can move around the forest or savannah andd find enough to eat, you actually dont need to store anything as this is a waste of time, the biggest problems in Africa is escaping Preditors, from Lions to pythons to Aligators, there is something waiting to make meal out of the African man, the best Solution that came up to ensure survival was Kinship, It is near imposible to survive generation after generation in wild africa as a solitary human.

The environment mainly selected for competence in Europe while the environment in Africa selected for Kinship..........

Everybody is just flaring emotions up and down.......How many people can say that If his desired candidate wins that there will be better education for his kids.....How many people are assured that affordable housing is assured come next 4 years

Mr Peterichy , Chibuking, Jonathan, Jonadulll et al.........How many of you is sure of paying lesser school fees for your children or house rent come next dispensation......We all know that what goes up can never come down in Africa, So I ask you guys again, can the price of rice ever come down again to #5000....

Abeg make we no abuse ourselves on this thread, we are grown men........Election has never been about us the masses

Why do you think there'll be a 3rd revolution based on the cement price of N2300 per bag?
Africa is a developing continent, with a huge need for infrastructural development (every tom dick and harry is thinking and talking of building something)....Cement happens to be the sole material used for binding in construction, but the nature of cement is such that It is extemely expensive to transport especially by road and the equipement to produce it is also prohibitly expensive......enter chinese technology, the chinese have crashed the procurement of a fully integrated cement plant from about $3 billion to $600 million.......(Dangote was the first to key into this, he now has has about 10 lines in his Nigeria Operations, the opportunity to key into dangote for me is gone).....................CCNN is gathering momentum to take off and Larfarge is on the mark.........You can easily break even in 3 years operating this chinese plants compared to others............High quality Limestone the chief raw material in cement is mainly concentrated in Nigeria along the west african coast, other countries with comparable grade have seen Dangote site production unit in this countries........So the future is CEMENT EXPORT to neighbouring Countries,,,,,,,,,All cement plant locations in Nigeria are situated in Good enough places to supply neighouring countries, also unlike Rice, frozen foods & Vegetable oil, Cement can never be smuggled into country profitably.............I wait to see how this 3 companies will interplay.......Dangote has consistently paid more than #6 dividend the past 5 years.........I will wait for fullyear report from wapco,,,,,Let me see If they are really ready for business or want to continue the mago mago of paying dividend as debt servicing to Parent company......
