I was Startled when I heard this:
Question: How will you manage the Nigerian economy visavis the drop in international oil price?
Buhari: I will stabilise the oil price and run an accountable government.

This is the most clueless answer I have ever heard since I was born. huh

This is one trait that Buhari and his supporters have in common. Why do you find it easy to accuse those who do not share your political opinion as being blinded by hatred and envy? You do not like GEJ, his supporters are civil enough to consider it your right. Why are you stuck in 1983 like your master? What most of you don't seem to understand is that in a democracy, which most of you in APC know nothing about, a PhD holder in political philosophy has the same number of vote as the unschooled market woman in remote Nembe.

Here you are making efforts to prove that Tinubu is not corrupt while at the same time accusing the FG of corruption. Can't you see the problem in your position? You have no right to label anybody for holding a contrary political opinion in a democracy. The best you can do is to persuade them and not malign them. Well, it is obvious that persuasion is very strange to most people of your political colouration.
A Gold Medal Comment.
RomanceRe: I Think Am Cursed With The Opposite Sex!!! by major466(m): 11:59am On Dec 08, 2014
Looks like you like ladies too much. There's nothing wrong with that. But making yourself readily available to them sends a red flag. You like them to the point that every time anyone sees you, they see you in the company of girls. This is probably the reason why girls see you more like a girlfriend than a guy to go on a date with. I could be wrong but these are my honest opinion. I have seen cases like this before.

You're right on the money!! The government should, instead, support the creation of more indigenous oil companies.
That is what the PIB bill is all about. To open up both the upstream and downstream sectors of the petroleum sector. This bill has everything needed to provide a level playing feel for people like you and I to participate and make a living out of it. This in the long run will make the sector more competitive and profitable not only for the players and the government but to Nigerians at large, just like what they have in Brazil. Sadly the bill is laying on life support at the National Assembly.

Not only FAAN but other govt entities.

The number one on my list should be the NNPC and all their rubish subsidiaries and ventures.

This is a company that neither explores, drills or markets crude.

All sectors within the production chain be it up or downstream are contracted to private foriegn companies.

The NNPC just have staff sitting in their offices passing files, going on foriegn courses up to PHD on govt expense, and doing local tours for the DTA.

They are a monumental waste.
Completely agree. FAAN, NNPC and the others need to be privatised. Nigerians should press on the National Assembly members (Especially the A.bokis members up north who are against the bill for selfish reasons) pass the PIB bill. This bill is the answer needed to Sanitize the oil sector and make NNPC a profit private driving company like Petrobrass of Brazil.
True Federalism is the only thing that will fix Nigeria permanently.

Shatap with your nonsense corruption mantra.

This is the only rhetoric you dunces and your daft general keep regurgitating.

The key to fighting corruption is reducing govt role to that of a regulatory body.

And that calls for govt hands of directly in the economy (oil sector ) and promotion of private ventures.

The only main corruption cases we will then have is not looting of state funds but tax evasion.

You mumu.
The only card played by APC is Kworoption. Nothing more. How they will tackle it when majority of them are classical example of corruption itself is still a mystery they themselves don't have the answer.
Buhari up till now is still behaving like a military man that he was since when he joined the military. How will he operate in a democracy he declared war on 31 years ago? How will he fight Kworoption in a democratic dispensation without wielding the Dictator power he did as a military dictator? Does he think he can go around dishing orders, arresting and jailing people for the slightest rumor of corruption allegations? Will he order the arrest of National Assembly members and jail them because he think they're kworopt? Will he push for the investigation of individuals like Atiku, Tinubu, OBJ, IBB, Adulsalam Abubakar, and himself for corruption? How can he even fight the only thing he knows (Kworoption) after making a statement like this: Sani Abacha was not corrupt?
For goodness sake this is the 21st century, not 18th century. If Buhari believes that only by becoming President he can eradicate corruption and do it within a short period of time then I can confidently say that he doesn't know the real problem of Nigeria. He's complete oblivious to the real challenge facing this country right from 1960 to date. You can solve what you don't know.
Buhari belong to the stone age. We need a 21st century software to ship Nigeria, not an old operating system that is already out of commission.

The cluelessness exhibited by Buhari in that interview is mind boggling. What got me cracking was his economic plan to stabilize international oil prices. I mean, Nigerians in all places are advocating for economic diversification to shift the attention on oil, this one is planning to further install oil as the dominant commodity in Nigeria's economy. How sad is that?

Channels Question: Some people say that you are a religious bigot, what do you have to say about that?

Buhari's Answer: It cannot be true because the military is secular and i rose through the ranks to become a general.
Instead of him to talk about what he feels about freedom of worship and human rights to clear the air about his fanatism, he's busy talking about the military being secular. Is that the best response he can give to assure Nigerians that he ain't a fanatic? Buhari is the final definition of CLUELESSNESS.

WOW! Really. Was that the best answer you could cook up?
I wonder for the man. Totally clueless.

Those of you that can't wait to see GEJ out of power, I want to remind you that the grass is always greener on the other side. I'm very certain people would wish Jonathan remained in power, if at all he loses out next year. Buhari is not the saviour of this country.

Back to the topic. What exactly do you want Jonathan to do now, that you're calling him docile? Even South Africa that seized our cash for arms still ultimately returned it. Aren't you aware this is a diplomatic issue, and should be handled tactically?

What I hate about many Nigerian youth is that they come online and spew several gibberish against the government, when they are utterly clueless about governance.
