I have been wondering since our president, Goodluck Jonathan in response to a question about corruption said, stealing is not corruption.

Stealing is not corruption says GEJ. So i want to ask, what does this mean exactly? To me, its more like saying, we can steal all we want,its not corruption. If that is the case, so what is corruption?

I watched the interview on NTA where the President made the comment about stealing and corruption. What he meant was that, those who embezzle or steal public funds are thieves. That the appropriate word to describe any individual, public servant, or political office holder who embezzles public fund is "Thief" or "Thieves", not the word corruption. That using the word Corruption vaguely defines the crime but the word "Thief" as per Stealing (embezzlement) defines the crime. What crime was he talking about? Stealing of Public Funds. That's it. The President never conveyed the idea that stealing was OK and not corruption. Those spreading these malicious lies are mischief makers bend on making the President appear as someone condoning corruption.

There's something about APC when it comes to Slap. Seems like every APC member is prone to anger that result to slap. A similar thing almost happened earlier in the year when Alimodu Sherriff almost gave Tinubu a dirty slap during a heated argument over party matters. APC and Anger Slap are twins.

Yet the US has the audacity to talk and accuse our troops of Human rights abuse.

Uppercut! The first stage towards solving a problem is recognizing the problem and the cause. Ones the cause is known half of the problem is solved. If APC leadership have no idea of the causes of terrorism in Nigeria how will they solved it when (God forbid) they come to power? Are they planning on using juju science to solve it? You can't solve what you don't know. The other day Kwankwaso claimed he will finish boko haram in 24 hours when elected. How will he eradicate terrorism when his own party leaders don't even know the cause? This is laughable. They call GEJ clueless, yet here they're exhibiting high degree of cluelessness. In fact, APC is the final definition of CLUELESSNESS.

Next thing you know, Tinubu will declare himself the father of democracy in Nigeria.

@ Ops, do you have a faint idea of Macro Economics. I guess nay. National economics is not measured based on PPP but on real GDP (monetary value of goods produced and earn in a year) . And for ur info, the value of US economy is almost double that of China as at date. Yes, almost double. What PPP is saying is that assuming the goods are produced and sold under same price regime nd condition, what will the comparison be across the world. I believer I don't need to tell u that workers in the US and PRC earn different wages, are subjected to different conditions. Also the exchange value of the USD is far greater than the Chinese currency. In reality, it will take the next 50yrs for Chinese economy to be worth the US economy as at today if the US economy stagnate while China grow @ 6.3%. As at Q3 2014 the Chinese growth was sub 3%. It was expected. The US themselves knew it was just a matter of time before China overtake them. China has arrived. Economic power and political power = world no.1

The Alshabab terrorist group seem to be establishing itself right on Kenyan soil to position itself like boko haram. Kenya must not heed to the demands of the demons to withdraw from Somalia. The security of that country is still very vital to Kenyan security.
