Family / Re: How Do Career Women Cope With Domestic Chores? - Help! by maki(f): 12:13pm On Feb 15, 2012
Before i explain what i go through i want to tell u i have 2 jobs.
1. as a debit control mngr in a logistics company
2. as a fahion designer ( my personal company)

everyday i wake up at about 5:30 get dressed and go to work with my husband and close d same because our offices r in d same area (lekki phase 1).
after beating the traffic back home(onike-yaba) i must prepare dinner for him before i go to my workshop and do some little fashion designing work before going to bed.
i only do my cooking once a month, e.g prepare like 3 different types of stew and 3 different types of soup, then dish them into those little freezer rubber bowls with covers for easy warming, my husband do not like micro wave so i have to warm it with water in a pot, i label them to know excalt which types of stew or soup in dat bowl. so within d week all i do is to either boil, rice,yam, ripe or unripe plantain bake either eba,amala,semovita or poundo or make pasta or anytin that wont take me more than 15-30mins to prepare.
then as for cleaning of the house is only on weekends. i do my house cleaning on saturday after coming back from d gym, sweeping, dusting, removal of cobwebs, washing of d tiolets and bathroom before going into my workshop for my fashion designing through out d weekend.

and all these,i think its making me to lose my mind bit by bit, if i dont get someone to help me soon. it is not easy ONE BIT.

Lolll! Very funny stories
I have a boss that's always asking me for my BB everyday to check her email! Its so annoying cos at times when am chatting and she takes the phone when I get a reply she won't even give me the phone to read the message she ll be doing as if the phone is her own! In my mind I ll be like 'hellooo! How much is a BB?' And she does this EVRYDAY *whew*
Then I hate when ave just finishe a night shift and the person coming to relieve me comes late! After waiting the person will jusy come smiling sheepishly apologizing! I have a colleague that ALWAYZ does that! Once I see she is the one to relive me am always soooo pissed! A particular day (on a sat) she came 2hrs late! I just left without waiting for her! Unfortunately for me a superior came around that morning and met nobody on call! Hmmmm all hell was let loose! But the good thing was all of us got the query! Plus me plus the b****h plus the seniors( that was supposed to be around bt wasn't )in fact they went round all the units and those that were not on their duty post all got queried
*smiling*

very naughty cheesy

i have a coleague that sings like a church bird and plays music from her phone or laptop (dont knw where) out loud everyday in the office, and this drives me mad.
not only that, she speaks in her native (akwa ibom) dialect and laughs on top of her voice. she can shout d  name of d office assitant from office away and talk out loud in her language (just imagine that). so un-cultured  angry isshh

pazienza:

Ikwerre tribe will not add anything special to the other tribes that chose to remain in the larger igbo nation,they are not that important,you guys should stop making them feel important,of more importance are those igbo people indigenious to bonny,they are the ones we should be talking about,they can give us access to the sea,ikwerre is landlocked,Ph is not an ikwerre city now,the okirika(ijaw) people have a stake in that city now,ikwerre's  oil wells are not that much now.Left for me,they should be allowed to stay,they are not important.

Btw,can anyone tell me more about those wonderful igbo people indigenious to bonny? grin

Religion / Re: Have You Ever Seen An Angel Before? by maki(f): 11:11pm On Feb 02, 2012
I strongly believe I have seen an angel before, even twice. They saved me in 2 different occasions.

1st was when I was in secondary school, I fell off from our school chemistry lab high stool and landed backwards with my head and I passed out instantly and saw myself floating towards a very bright light with a human figure and I heard a voice from the light that ordered me to go back. That was how I regained consciousness.

The second one was in form of 2 boys in d middle of nowhere escaping from ritualists(a suppose friend that sold me out to ritualists). I saw them selling roadside engine oil in coke bottles in d middle of nowhere, Those 2 boys stopped me and warned me never to come to that place again in Abuja, they showed me the way to town, waited nd stopped a vehicle for me to board and vanished. When I mean vanished I meant vanished, once I entered the bus turned and i never saw them nor their engine oil stand anymore. Till date in my heart I strongly believe those boys were angels sent to save me.

***** tearing rolling down my eyes right now, I keep having this same feelings whenever I tell these stories*****

@Ima Ima,
If u'r not sure of any question, please don't answer it, just say your own opinion. Kindly read Deut. 26 v13 - 15, you will see the pple you can pay your tithes to the levites( priests), the foreigners, the orphans, and the windows so that in every community they will have all they need to eat.

@ Maki

You can read the verse too, and you can give your tithe to the less privileged ones in our community so that they can have all they need to eat.

@All,

I know that some of us are pastors, and will want all tithes to come to them, but tell your congregation the truth. I rest my case

@chines4 thank you so much

Acidosis:

stop deceiving yourself, you wanna use common sense. Now you're forgetting that the sameGod that gave you a brain asked you to bring your tithe to his house. Pay your tithe to your church, and leave the decision to the pastor as to what he wants to do with it. You can always give orphanage homes as a seed that is sure to yield some fruits for you here on earth

one can imagine the way u think.
i believe u read my post with no understanding, u wouldnt have used those words like 'stop decieving yourself'.
you must be one desperate guy that collects money from people by every means possible.

@ima ima

so r u saying God will not be happy with me if i use my tithe for the less privilege.
Religion / Re: What Pastors Ought To Do With Tithe Money by maki(f): 11:50am On Jan 27, 2012
i dont knw if this is right or wrong, but an inner voice keeps telling me to use my tithe to buy stuffs for an orphanage home.  undecided
and i want to do so this weekend
