Thank you malton for standing up for what is right.
Thank you, brother.

This I do and will continue to do until my dying day.

Yet another reaction.

Thankfully, this one cuts straight to the chase, and is the incontestable fact on ground, because the Plateau is my home.

Plateau has never succumbed to Northern oligarchy and hegemony, and it never will.
Thank God, I got a brother here to attest to this fact.

@ the emboldened, that's the spirit, bro. We are the northern Christian's first line of defence and shall remain so until the end. We are too bold to crouch down in fear. Have never, and shall never.

Nobody can chase our own out of our lands. Lailai!

you are one of those that caused the educational genocide inthe north, you sound learned but refused to encourage your brothers to do the same...now look at the embarrassment they are bringing home.
Bro, warmongers and bloodthirsty individuals are not my people, even if born of the same parents.

I don't share in that bullshiiit!

Thankfully, those illiterates and I do not relate. They are not my people any more than you are, except that we have more in common with your people - the love for education - than we do with them.

Plateau State is full of learned and understanding people, with many higher institutions of learning to encourage even more of that.

Thanks.

It's better to name names than wield blades.

The labelling of Plateau people as "onye hausa" by some of them has not killed any Plateau man and can be excused as of ignorance.

The killing of Plateau people by your lands grabbing kinsmen, however, cannot be excused for any reason.

And for the record, you, Hausa/Fulani, will leave first before even a spoon owned by an Igbo person departs this state.

Nonsense!

Honestly, sometimes they even pounce on their fellow Muslims just because he is from yoruba, middle belt or even their fellow northerners just because he is not sympathetic to their cause.

Though I view this as a random threat, a part of me still nurtures some fear not because I live in core north but because these illiterate northerners just need a plate of food to go berserk and do random killings.

Time without number it has been proven that they own Nigeria and nothing would happen to them even if they make threats, no security agency would put them to order, buh let any southern figure raise his ugly head to say kill them when they come to attack you, protect yourself and the next day they would dash him three days vacation in DSS detention facility...
It's quite a pitiful situation.

Those people have been allowed to indulge themselves in killings and destructions freely and successfully by the security agencies. Only we can rise and stop the barbarism.
PoliticsNorthern Youths' Ultimatum: Keep Plateau And The Middle Belt Out Of Your Madness by malton(op):
I am dismayed by the decision of the various youth interest groups in Northern Nigeria to order all Igbos out of the region.

Not only is the conclusion callous and uncalled for, but it could be a precursor to war. Moreover, the attempt to impose their silly ruling on all the 19 states comprising northern Nigeria is laughable. Some nonentities cannot sit in Kaduna and exert upon an entire zone the full impact of their negative influence for such purposes as they see fit and by such measures, as they deem fit, whatever it may have been induced by.

Having come from a state that is seven years out of one of Nigeria's most violent sectarian crises, I must admit that we have seen too much war to want some of that ever again.

Furthermore, we have shared too much in the Igbo man's quest for self-reliance, independence, equality of opportunity, justice, charity and co-operation on top of their vision of economic abundance inspired by their ever-imposing productivity, technical skills, and commitment, to stand by as some youths whose mental state of health we are not sure of, make an attempt on their lives or properties. We say no to bloodshed on our lands.

A lot of Igbo youths have represented Plateau State at various times in our storied history and have done this so well. We have lived peacefully for years and have no reason whatsoever to demand change. More so, we are smart enough to know not to punish Eze in Jos for the 'sins' of Ikechukwu in Aba. Their words and actions are unrelated and everyone should be treated as they deserve.

In Plateau, we believe in equality for all, regardless of tribal differences. Consequent upon this, the life of an Igbo man is no less than that of a Ngas, Taroh, Berom, Mwaghavwul, Mushere, Irigwe, Afizere, or Jarawa person. To this end, no blood-thirsty individual should even seek to visit carnage upon our lands. All we want is peace and security of all lives and properties.

We may be situated in the north, but we do not subscribe to your barbaric tendencies or share your hateful views, especially not towards those who have brought nothing but growth and progress to our dear state. The Igbo people are peace-loving citizens of Jos and its environs. Any attempt to cause harm to any of them will see the offenders leave first, one way or another. No Citizen of Plateau State origin will want harm done to any southerner resident in the state.

Our lands are not slaughterhouses.

I believe I speak the minds of most middle-beltan youths on this subject, especially those of our brothers and sisters in Benue, Kogi, Nasarawa, Taraba, Southern Bauchi, Southern Kaduna, and Kwara.

To us all, the "Kaduna Declaration" catchphrase is nothing more than a myth, a fantasy, and a delusion. Keep that shiit out of our lands!

All we want is development.

That shiiit should be condemned by all and sundry.

When those Northern youths go berserk, it's not just the Igbos that will feel the brunt. They are too dumb to tell the Igbo man apart from an Urhobo, for instance. Once you look and dress a certain way, off your head goes.

Not even northern Christians or middle-beltan Muslims will be spared.

It's better to nip it in the bud while we all still can.

Our collective condemnations will force the security agencies to act proactively. Otherwise, you know they won't do shiit.

I mean, their favored sons are the ones playing villain here.

I pray no harm comes to anyone or their property on account of this.

And while they are at it, they should keep Plateau State out of their madness. Igbo lives and properties are safe here, we'll go to war to defend them if need be.

One mo.ron cannot decide the fate of people in my state just because he formed/belongs in some silly group that holds no meaning whatsoever.

That's right. We have been warned by these youths. If the government ignores this threat we may have yet another militant group terrorising the country.

El-Rufai has had all the warning he needs. He must swing into action immediately or face a never ending war in his state.

Sadly, Nigeria is not known for taking proactive steps in situations like this.

Sadly the hate speeches of Nnamdi Kanu have begun to yield results. If any igbo blood is spilled as a result of this, lay the blame on him.

Ethnic cleansing is stupìd. No government should treat such threats with levity. Those Kaduna youths must be apprehended before they throw the nation into chaos.
Exactly.

The average northerner is violent. But on this one, they are bluffing.

Still, they should be apprehended like you said. It's better to nip it in the bud than leave the fate of many to chance.

The emboldened is funny grin

Truth is, I've been hearing a couple of agitators say they would not be fighting on their turf, rather on some other people's soil and all indications are pointing to the South South for this.

I must confess that secession cannot take place in Nigeria without another bout. I would have been positive about this but there are several factors in place here. The North would not readily allow anyone to leave while those in the East claim they are ready for war.
Hehe, I guess that's to be expected from a barca fan like myself.

Thank you. This is what I've been saying to these separatists who do not choose their words carefully.

The northerners' foul mouthedness and crude mentality against the average Igbo man's braggadocio is a recipe for disaster in any society. The one thing they seem to have in common is that neither of them think things through before acting upon them.

There will definitely be causalities.

I just don't want someone throwing us back into the stone age with their senselessness.

Secession is a call for war, and the northerners are always spoiling for war.

Unfortunately, even bystanders will get caught up in their display of stupidity.

Sanchez01:
I didn't need to because your assertion is not only laughable but stupid. Interestingly, you forgot to state where the oil fields are because just like the other little foot soldiers, you are quick to lump the SS with the SE.

Try to create a standalone mindset with these two regions when clamouring or dreaming of your madness. You should by now know where we align when it comes to Biafra. And before you daydream about Biafrans coming for oil feeds in the South South, you just have to understand that those in the region would not sit and have you cripple their lands. The aftermath of a war on all sides is always devastating and Nigeria would be impacted, but that is not to say the other side would remain standing.

If there was to be another war between Nigeria and the Eastern Region (God forbid), we all know it would be a repeat, not because Nigeria is only stronger, but because allies would be readily available to protect their interests. That was how the war was won then and nothing would change about it today

I'd suggest you dedicate an hour of your time to seeing some videos of the civil war on Youtube rather than lift a picture of the Dassault Falcon 900 LX to self-service on your never-ending daydream. The only little mind here is yours.
God bless you.
