How did you know that angel Gabriel don't go to that extent to pass the intended message? Are you an eye witness?

And then, how many times did he press and torture people?
angel gabriel is a messenger of good news, He appear to many people and their is no mention of torture, according to the hadith, the angel press him 3 times, torture him. Well, I don't want to derail this thread, if you still insist, open a thread and mention me.

Maybe this reply of yours wasn't meant for me. Or that it is meant for my reply to malvisguy212, is it? But definitely not for dalaman's profound input.

You've never seen an angel, but then you believe an eye witness account?
Good, why do you then find it hard to believe Prophet Muhammad (saw) who claimed to also saw an angel that dictates the Quran to him?

Again this has nothing to do with dalaman's input. And then, are you really comparing incidents of kidnapping, murder and rape to angels allegedly appearing in human form? Seriously?
hey, I believe muhammed see an angel, and the quran was given to him. But to say the angel is gabriel which appear to mary, zacharia and the rest is laughable, angel gabriel don't press and torture people.

According to what you wrote up there, so it is the people that were flooded. The people were so flooded that all mountains under the heavens were submerged in the flood. That even the ark was lifted and made to rest on to of mount Ararat.

This is not the jokes section please. Don't insult our intellect here.
The Hebrew word for mountain in that verse is translated "Har" har is refer as "hill" or "hills" hill country.

Go and do all the research you can
I am very busy now, their are many things you guys don't understand in the scripture, in the scripture, when the bible is talking about people, sometimes it refer to as earth, take for example in Genesis 18:25 it say not the Judge of all [kol] the earth [erets]deal justly? " (Genesis 18:25) (God judges the
people of the earth, not the earth itself)

The hebrew word translated "erets" is the same word found in the flood account, this word HAS no connection with geographically location, if am lying, please do research.

Let us take another example:

Now the earth was CORRUPT in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence.
( Genesis 6:11)

And God looked on the earth, and behold, it
was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their
way upon the earth. ( Genesis 6:12)

How can the earth be corrupt if it geographical location ? The word earth hear is referring to people of the earth, and it was the same hebrew word erets. This is something you guys don't understand, I wish we can see face to face, I promise, I will clear your doubt and you will know that you are making a VERY big mistake, but hear, on nairaland, I cannot draw a 2HD on a 3HD screen. The flood is not global?

DEBUNKING the belief that the flood was not Global

1. What the bible says
Genesis 7:19 clearly states that ALL the mountains under heaven were covered by water.
Genesis 7:15 clearly said that ALL creatures that had breath were represented in the ark. Every single one on earth.
Genesis 7:23 said EVERY living thing on the face of the earth died even all the fishes (lol). ONLY those in the ark were saved. (I guess trying to make the ark look special, hehehehe. The writer of this story must have taken good quality weed)

2. Scientific approach
We were told in Genesis 8:4 we were told that the ark came to rest on top of mount Ararat.

Guess what? Mount Ararat is 5,100 meters tall! any water that will cover mount Ararat will cover the whole earth and only a few taller mountains will be uncovered.

Mr. Man think!

I am very sure if we could resurrect who ever fabricated this story, he would be shocked people still believe his lies despite all evidences and knowledge humanity has in this age.

malvisguy212:
Jesus is a very important figure in Islam.
Muslims believe, Jesus is just a prophet,
He was merely a prophet, a prophet
whose second coming will bring about
Allah’s judgement on the human race.

In the fourth book of the Quran, al-Nisa
(or “The Women”), we are told that Jesus
never died on the cross. Instead, Allah is a gifted trickster. Behold:

Quran 4:157 And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did
they crucify him;but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.
Quran 4:158 Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in
Might and Wise.

No reason were given why Jesus was snatch from death. Allah couldn’t wait a few more days for Jesus to be executed. He needed Jesus in heaven right away. But he also needed Jesus to be executed. The solution? Snatch Jesus
from earth right now and pick someone else to wear Jesus’ face long enough to fool the executioners and the Jews.

In completing this absurd trick, Allah
must’ve known the following:

The crucifixion of Jesus would be used to create Christianity, the largest religion
the world has ever known–a rival religion, mind you. So it was all a ruse to
trick people into following the LARGEST
religion. Unfortunately for these cursed
Christian souls, Allah waited another 600 years before bothering to mention that the Divine Jesus myth in the bible was all a lie.

Those who died Prior to the coming of muhammed to clear this out , who's gonna take the blame for their unbelief ? Allah for tricking the Jews or satan ?

Christianity Etc › Re: Ince$t In The Qur’an ??? by malvisguy212(op): 6:51am On Jun 28, 2016
malvisguy212:
There is a religious ruling in Islam that is taught
and upheld by prominent Islamic scholars. This
religious ruling reveals the approval of ince$t
within its theology. a Muslim man is permitted to marry hisown biological daughter and consummate the
marriage with her if she was conceived
illegitimately. In other words, a Muslim man is
permitted to marry his own biological daughter
if she is born to him out of wedlock. The
foundation for Incest in Islam is laid in the
following verse:

Surah 25:54: It is He Who has created man
from water: then has He established
RELATIONSHIP OF LINEAGE AND MARRIAGE: for
thy Lord has power over all things. (Yusuf
Ali)

Al-Qurtubi is one of Islam’s premiere
commentators. In his Commentary (Tafsir) on
Surah 25:54, he quotes Ibn Al-Arabi (1165 C.E.
– 1240 C.E.), the most influential author of
Islamic history. He is also known to his
supporters as al-Shaykh al-Akbar (The Greatest
Master). Al-Qurtubi wrote:
REGARDING THE TERMS “LINEAGE AND
RELATIONSHIP THROUGH MARRIAGE”:
“Lineage and relationship through
marriage are two terms that describe the
personal relationships that may exist
between humans.”
Ibn Al-Arabi said, “Lineage is an
expression referring to the mixture of fluids
between a male and a female from a
religious legal point of view.
However, if this union (between male
and female) occurs through
disobedience (fornication) then the
resulting child is not considered a part
of a person’s true lineage. That is why a
daughter born from adultery is not
mentioned in Allah’s saying, ‘Prohibited
to you (for marriage) are: your mothers
and daughters’ (Surah 4:23) because she
is not considered a daughter according
to the most authentic teaching of our
(Islamic) scholars and the most
authentic teaching of our religion.
If there is no legal lineage then there is
no legal relationship; for adultery does
not prohibit (from marriage) the
daughter of the mother (you committed
adultery with) nor the mother of a
woman (you committed adultery with).
What is lawfully prohibited is not also
prohibited due to sin, for Allah has
bestowed lineage and relation through
marriage upon His servants and greatly
esteemed these relationships. Allah has
also established laws identifying what is
legal and what is prohibited, which are not
equal to each other; therefore falsehood
cannot be a part of these laws.” ( Tafseer
Qurtubi, Surah 25 verse 54; Translated
from Al-Azhar’s official website).

How can one illegal act (adultery) make
another illegal act (ince$t) lawful? How can the
sin of adultery (zina) nullify the sin of ince$t
and make it an acceptable act? Can two wrongs
( adultery and incest) make a right? And the
second wrong that is permitted in Islam with the
blessing of Allah is ince$t between a father and
his daughter. How does having a daughter from
an adulterous relationship make her sexually
permissible for the father when she is in every
sense his very own flesh and blood? No matter
how she is conceived, she still remains his
biological child and should be sexually off limits
to him. This is a gross violation of the divine
standard of morality. Just think, will the true
God permit incest intentionally?
Christianity Etc › Re: The Qur’an – A Manual For Suicide Bombers by malvisguy212(op): 6:50am On Jun 28, 2016
malvisguy212:
In Islam, it is not how one lives that
guarantees salvation, but how one dies.
To die while fighting the infidels in the
cause of Allah is the only sure way for
Muslims to be assured of a place in
Paradise. Pious muslims will be taken to hell until the day of judgment.

Surah 9:111: Allah hath purchased of
the believers their persons and their
goods; for theirs in return is the
garden of Paradise: they fight in H
is cause, and slay and are slain.
(Yusuf Ali)

Surah 17:33: And do not kill the soul
which Allah has forbidden EXCEPT BY RIGHT.

Surah 17:33 is an important verse for
suicide-bombers. This Qur’anic verse not only justifies their own suicidal deaths but it also justifies the unintended killing of other Muslims in the process. Since the jihadist goal is to defeat the infidels and establish the right of Islamic rule at all cost, they believe the end justifies the means.

Therefore, the purpose of these suicide bombers is not just to kill themselves but to kill the enemies of Islam. In the mathematics of the jihadist, the most effective way to kill as many infidels is by means of this extremely evil method. The suicide bombers believe that they are rewarded, not for simply dying, but for dying as a means for killing. Thus, their own death is sanctioned by Allah and is accepted as a necessary sacrifice. They are honored as martyrs because they died in the fight against the enemies of Islam.

THE BARGAIN OF ALLAH
It may surprise many to learn that all
Muslims, including Muhammad will
descend into “Hell” before being rescued from it on the “Day of Resurrection.” The “Day of Resurrection” or “Qiyamah” refers to the time of the end. This means that even as you are reading this article, Muhammad and his pious followers are in “Hell” awaiting deliverance. The following Qur’anic verse and Hadith attests to this teaching in Islam.

Surah 19:71: “It is the inevitable
decree of your Lord that EVERYONE OF YOU WILL BE TAKEN TO HELL .”

THE ONLY WAY TO BYPASS THE PUNISHMENT IN SURAH 19:71.

However, there is a way for Muslims to
bypass “Hell” and head straight into
Paradise. Allah makes a bargain with
Muslims to show how this is possible.

Surah 61:10-13: O YE WHO BELIEVE SHALL I LEAD YOU TO A BARGAIN THAT WILL SAVE YOU FROM A GRIEVOUS PENALTY ? – That ye believe in Allah
and His Messenger, and that ye
strive your utmost in the Cause of
Allah , with your property and your
persons: That will be best for you, if
ye but knew! He will forgive you
your sins, and admit you to
Gardens beneath which Rivers flow,
and to beautiful mansions in
Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed
the Supreme Achievement. And
another favour will He bestow, which
ye do love, – help from Allah and a
speedy victory. (Yusuf Ali)

The above Qur’anic verses were written
in the historical context of the Battle of
Uhud (625 C.E.). In the Arabic Qur’an, the term Jihad is used in the above Qur’anic verses. “That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (Jihad) your utmost in the Cause of Allah.” Since all Muslims, including pious ones will have to spend a waiting-period in the “Islamic-Hell” before reaching Paradise, Allah made a bargain with Muslims. He told them that if they die fighting for his cause, he will forgive their sins and will save them from the “grievous Penalty” of “Hell-fire.” In other words, there is no need to burn in the “Islamic-Hell” until the Day of Resurrection when the faithful among them will be rescued. Paradise will be instant for those who die fighting for Allah.

Till today, Muslim suicide bombers are
motivated by this murderous bargain of
Allah. Allah’s bargain is still in force in
the Book of Hate. Islam reserves a place
in Paradise for cold blooded killers.

Surah 9:88: “But the Messenger, and
those who believe with him, strive
and fight with their wealth and
their persons: for them are all good
things: and it is they who will
prosper.” (Yusuf Ali)

Christianity Etc › Re: Islamic Paradise Of Sex, Sin And Sensuality by malvisguy212(op): 6:49am On Jun 28, 2016
malvisguy212:
To entice his followers to fight in suicidal raids
and wars, Muhammad created an image of
Islamic paradise that made it difficult for his followers to resist, The promise of everlasting sex with virgins. Muhammad knew for sure that sex would sell very well among his warriors.

Surah 4:24:“Also forbidden for you are
married women, EXCEPT those who have
fallen in your hands as PRISONERS OF WAR .”

Still the risk of death discourage some Muslims
from participating in Allah’s wars. Hence,
Muhammad came up with an ingenious solution to the problem. Thus, Muhammad
designed an evil plan. He excited his believers
with these promises:

Surah 44:54: “Thus (shall it be), and We will
wed them with Houris, pure, beautiful ones"

The above quranic verse are in harmony with this hadith:

Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith Number 3834:
Narrated by Al-Miqdam ibn Ma’dikarib:
Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him)
said, “THE MARTYR RECEIVES SIX GOOD THINGS: he is forgiven at the first
shedding of his blood; he is shown his abode
in Paradise; he is preserved from the
punishment in the grave; he is kept safe
from the greatest terror; he has placed on
his head the crown of honor, a ruby of
which is better than the world and what it
contains; he is married to SEVENTY-TWO
WIVES OF THE MAIDENS WITH LARGE DARK EYES of ; and is made intercessor for seventy
of his relatives.”

Muhammad was able to preach his message
effectively using sex as a commodity in
exchange for his men’s support to fight his
battles, is a win win situation in fighting for Allah cause. Should a muslim fight, he will get his shear among the prisoners of war. Should the muslim got martyr in allah cause, he will be awarded with even beautiful virgin, it is not uncommon to hear Muslims say in boast to the infidels, “We love death more than you love life.” A religion that encourages death can only come from the one who brought death to the human race. The Bible describes death as an enemy. ( 1 Corinthians 15:26).

1 corinthians 15:25
The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

Sensuality in the Koran inspires young Muslim
men to die for Allah’s cause. A Holy God will never resort to sexual incentive as a means to secure believers. This is absolutely improper and blasphemous to the concept of Divine Holiness. However, in the Koran we find Allah promising Muslim men with pleasures of the flesh, both in this life and in the life to come. This makes Islam a very carnal religion.

malvisguy212:
Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 8, Number 427: Narrated ‘Aisha and ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas: When the last moment of the life of Allah’s Apostle came he started putting his ‘Khamisa’ on his face and when he felt hot and short of breath he took it off his face and said , “May Allah CURSE the Jews and Christians for THEY BUILT THE PLACES OF WORSHIP AT THE GRAVES OF THEIR PROPHET .” even in his dying breath, uttered curses. Please recall Muhammad’s reason for cursing the Jews and the Christians. He said, “FOR THEY BUILT THE PLACES OF WORSHIP AT THE GRAVES OF THEIR PROPHET .” We will now address this accusation of Muhammad. We will look at the facts recorded in the Bible. Moses and Jesus ,they are very important to the Jews, Moses to Judaism and Jesus to Christianity. As stated in Deuteronomy 34:5-6, God himself buried Moses to an undisclosed place and to Jesus,God removed His body. committing. Meaning it prevented both christians and Jews from being enticed to make pilgrimages or pay homage to such sites. It protected them from creature- worship. In contrast, what did the Muslims do with Muhammad’s tomb after his death? Muslims built a mosque on his tomb. His grave became a place for Muslim pilgrims to visit in Medina annually. The Prophet’s tomb at Medina is, after Mecca, the site most venerated by Muslims. It is visited with reverence in the hearts of the faithful. Ironically, these Muslims fell into the very class of people, upon whom Muhammad beseeched Allah’s curse. Unlike Jehovah, Allah did not have the wisdom or the insight to prevent the causes that could lead to creature- worship among his worshippers. The 12th century work by Qadi Iyad is highly accepted throughout the Muslim world. Al-Qadi Iyadibn Musa al-Yahsubi (1083 C.E.-1149 C.E.) wrote in his book Al-Shifa’: “Visiting his grave is part of the Sunna and is both excellent and desirable. Ibn `Umar said that the Prophet said, ‘My shafa’at (intercession on the Day of Qiyamah) is Waajib (incumbent upon me to intercede) FOR THE ONE WHO VISIT MY GRAVE.’”

hopefulLandlord:
Jesus’s Story is an Obvious Rehashing Of Numerous Previous Characters
Perhaps even more compelling is the story of Christ himself. As it turns out it’s not even remotely original. It is instead nothing more than a collection of bits and pieces from dozens of other stories that came long before. Here are some examples.
1. Asklepios healed the sick, raised the dead, and was known as the savior and redeemer.
2. Hercules was born of a divine father and mortal mother and was known as the savior of the world.
3. Dionysus was literally the “Son of God”, was born of a woman who had not had sex with a man, and was depicted riding a donkey . He was a traveling teacher who performed miracles, and was killed and resurrected, after which time he became immortal.
4. Osiris did the same things. He was born of a virgin, was considered the first true king of the people, and when he died he rose from the grave and went to heaven.
5. Osiris’s son, Horus , was known as the “light of the world”, “The good shepherd”, and “the lamb”. He was also referred to as, “The way, the truth, and the life.” His symbol was a cross-like symbol.
6. Mithra‘s birthday was celebrated on the
25th of December , his birth was witnessed by local shepherds who brought him gifts, had 12 disciples, and when he was done on earth he had a final meal before going up to heaven. On judgment day he’ll return to pass judgment on the living and the dead. The good will go to heaven, and the evil will die in a giant fire. His holiday is on Sunday (he’s the Sun God). His followers called themselves “brothers”, and their leaders “fathers”
. They had baptism and a meal ritual where symbolic flesh and blood were eaten. Heaven was in the sky, and hell was below with demons and sinners.
7. Krishna had a miraculous conception that wise men were able to come to because
they were guided by a star. After he was born an area ruler tried to have him found and killed. His parents were warned by a divine messenger, however, and they escaped and was met by shepherds. The boy grew up to be the mediator between God and man.
8. Buddha ‘s mother was told by an angel that she’d give birth to a holy child destined to be a savior. As a child he teaches the priests in his temple about religion while his parents look for him. He starts his religious career at roughly 30 years of age and is said to have spoken to 12 disciples on his deathbed. One of the disciples is his favorite, and another is a traitor. He and his disciples abstain from wealth and travel around speaking in parables and metaphors. He called himself “the son of man” and was referred to as, “prophet”, “master”, and “Lord”. He healed the sick, cured the blind and deaf, and he walked on water. One of his disciples tried to walk on water as well but sunk because his faith wasn’t strong enough.
9. Apollonius of Tyana (a contemporary of Jesus) performed countless miracles (healing sick and crippled, restored sight, casted out demons, etc.) His birth was of a virgin, foretold by an angel. He knew scripture really well as a child. He was crucified , rose from the dead and appeared to his disciples to prove his power before going to heaven to sit at the right hand of the father. He was known as, “The Son of God”.
The problem, of course, is that these previous narratives existed hundreds to thousands of years before Jesus did.

Okay, let's do this. We could spend ages indulging in endless speculations that have nothing to do with reality, so let's not do that. Let's anchor our speculations in reality by discussing only the things we have evidence for.

You seem to believe that the 11 disciples were all beaten, persecuted and killed for insisting that Jesus rose from the dead. That they all had a chance to save their lives by confessing that Jesus did not rise from the dead, but they all refused to do that, and for this reason they were all killed. Show me the evidence for that.

(Rilwayne001, thanks for your insightful comments on the Matthew story.)
this is not what I asked. I list 3 things and ask you to pick among them. If jesus did not resurrect, why was the tomb empty ? Please answer this question.

This is how the apostles were kill http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/killing-jesus/articles/how-did-the-apostles-die/

The jews wanted to make sure, jesus did not resurrected as He claim He will, so they provide a romans guard to guard the tomb. Now, who role the giant stone ? Is it the disciples ? If yes, how could they have roll it without the guard hearing the sound ? In fact the guard will be kill if they fail to protect the body, so you expect them to do their job with their life. The jew wanted to bring the crucifixion rumors to end, so they should at least provide the body of jesus which they kill, but they couldn't.

They had sold all their posessions and left their families and professions to join Jesus' ministry. With his death, that ministry was finished, but the ressurection story brought it back to life. Knowing about this serious conflict of interest, it reasonable to accept their testimony as evidence that the resurrection actually happened?"

We all know this account was according to Matthew and we know what Matthew was trying to do here. This is a ploy to start the so-called "rumour" that Christian's have found useful ever since – the "stolen body" straw man which you are trying to use here:Matthew 28.11-15 " While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. When the chief priests had met with the elders and DEVISED A PLAN, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, "You are to say, 'His disciples came during the night and stole him away WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP .' If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble." So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day ." –

This^ entire episode is directed at the objection that if the body wasn't in the tomb then an obvious explanation would be that somebody had removed it. The guards and the "sealing of the sepulchre" are intended to silence this objection.

Why did the guards have to be made "as dead men"? Surely extra witnesses to the momentous event would have been useful? Precisely because the story is a fabrication. If it had really happened the testimony of a squad of temple guards, not followers of Jesus, would have started a chain of events that just did not happen.

As a "real event" the passage is beset with problems. [u] How on earth did the comatose guards know "everything that had happened"? How could they admit to being asleep yet be certain that the disciples had stolen the body? Even more difficult to explain is how is the author of Matthew could himself possibly know of the dastardly plan hatched by the chief priests and elders?

This amounts to nothin. I was expecting you to counter his valid points in the op. All I see here is just a woeful lies and rants that hold no water..

Address the OP or shut up there undecided

BTW where is truthman2012, I haven't seen that old clown for weeks?

There are so many possible answers to that question:
1) People often risk their lives for lies. Someone who lied for a long time might rather risk death than allow the truth to destroy his life's work.
2) When death came, they may not have been given the option of telling the truth in exchange for their lives. They may have had no choice.
3) It is possible that a third party was responsible for the missing body and the disciples only saw Jesus in visions rather than bodily. Then over time the stories of their spiritual (imaginary) encounters with Jesus might have been spiced up dramatically by people trying to prove that Jesus rose physically from the dead. In this case, if they were in fact martyred, they would have chosen to die for what they thought was the truth but was only in their minds. In the time of Paul there were Christians called "gnostics" who believed that the resurrection was only spiritual.
So they were beaten, persecuted and killed for a deliberate lie ? What will they achieve for this lie ? One fact still stand, the TOMB WAS EMPTY, were would the body go ? What explanation will you give concerning the empty tomb ? to say the disciples stole his body is laughable. 11 people would not just give their life for something they know is a lie. Chose among this 3
1.Are they lying ?.
2.they hallucinated ?
3.They actually saw the risen christ ?

Chose among the 3, I have question for you. Thank you.

They will rather insult and call you names than refute it. Sometimes I wonder why some people deliberately turn blind eyes to the truth when it's staring right at them.
what is the truth ? Do you know the truth ? Have you search for the truth ,if truly God does not exist ? Or do you take everything science provide as the final truth ? I know their is God, this I know, with 100 percent.

I guess nobody wants to shed more light on the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is what this thread about. Not atheism.
address my first post, will the disciples ready to die for something that is lie ? What is their gain for preaching lie ? Even apostle paul say " Even an angel should come and preach different gospel, let him be accuse"

Why would the disciples die for a lie?

Religious People have an amazing ability to deceive even themselves, and that’s what cognitive dissonance is all about. It’s not a conscious process where people examine their beliefs and the actual events and then decide to convince themselves of something. It’s a process of rationalization that occurs, at least partially, at the subconscious level. It’s a well-documented effect, including being shown in doomsday cults. They said the end of the world was going to come on such-and-such a day, and it didn’t come…well they must have delayed it then! Or how about…we’ve just travelled around the countryside for three years with this guy that must have been the Messiah, but now he’s suddenly been killed…well, he must have been resurrected!

Again, this isn’t a conscious thought process. But it happens.
please, stay mute if you don't have anything to say, we are dealing with first hand witnesses, not just a religious people.

Seun:
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is probably the most important event in Christianity. Apostle Paul said, "If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith" (I Cor 15:14). He also said, "if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins". Did it really happen, though? Let's look at the evidence.

1. The Empty Tomb And The Men In White

Mark, which was the first gospel to be written, describes the incident in chapter 16:

Is it reasonable to accept this as evidence that Jesus rose from the dead? Let's see.

Jesus was the T B Joshua of his time. He came from a humble background, was loved by the masses because of his miracle ministry, and was hated by the religious establishment which didn't accept him as a true man of God and felt that his teachings were unscriptural.

Now lets imagine that T. B Joshua died, and then 3 days later the 3 women who were closest to him when he was alive in his ministry came to you with this story: That they went to T B Joshua's grave to pray and lay flowers, but when they got there, they saw that the grave had been opened, the body missing and a young guy in a white suit was sitting there. And the guy told them that T B Joshua had risen from the dead.

Would it be reasonable to believe that T B Joshua had risen from the dead on the basis of this testimony? Wouldn't you be suspicious that T B Joshua's body had been stolen by his top pastors to make it appear that he had risen? That the man in white was just an accomplice of the thieves? That maybe the women were hallucinating due to their grief, or simply lying to hype their hero and crush?

Luke's Gospel, written about 10 years later, describes the same incident thus:

Notice how the story has been altered to solve the issues with the first one, and spiced up?

Imagine if, in the hypothetical case of TB Joshua's alleged resurrection, the women who told you about his empty grave came back 10 years later to tell the same story. But this time, instead of a young man in a white suit who was sitting by the grave when they arrived, they claim that there was no one at T B joshua's grave initially and then suddenly, two men in glowing suits as bright as the sun (implying angels) appeared before them and gave them a scriptural lesson. Would those changes make the story more believable to you, or less so?

2. Appearing To His Closest Followers

According to Mark's Gospel,

In short, Jesus' closest followers claimed that he appeared to them at various times after his body went missing. Jesus closest followers had everything to lose by his death, and everything to gain by getting people to believe the resurrection story. They had sold all their posessions and left their families and professions to join Jesus' ministry. With his death, that ministry was finished, but the ressurection story brought it back to life. Knowing about this serious conflict of interest, it reasonable to accept their testimony as evidence that the resurrection actually happened?

If TB Joshua died and the top pastors in his church said he appeared to them, would you believe it for one moment?

3. His Appearance To 500 Believers

According to 1 Corinthians 15:6,

This would seem like the least weak evidence for the resurrection, due to the sheer number of potential witnesses, until you start to wonder why none of the Gospels mentioned it. Not even imaginative Luke of the robes as white as lightening. Why would all the Gospel writers have choosen to leave out what would have been their strongest evidence? 500 witnesses! Because it didn't happen? Because it was too early to tell such a big lie and get away with it? I don't know.

And even if we want to at issume that it happened, we must not forget that it would be quite easy for any illusionist to stage the appearance of Jesus to people who strongly want to believe that he is still alive. Benny Hinn tells a story about Jesus appearing during one of his crusades, and people believe it.

Conclusion:
The evidence for the resurrection of Jesus is a bunch of testimonies attributed to people who had every reason to lie during a period when people were far more superstitious and gullible than we are today because they didn't have science. It's not sufficient to convince an objective modern person that a 3 day old corpse whose brain and heart would have decayed considerably actually came back to life, held meetings in person with various people, and then ascended into outer space. Or ... What do you think?
you fail woefully, first, the resurrection was preach in the SAME city were jesus was buried, will the disciples preach the resurrection if the body is still in the tomb ? Will the disciples DIED for false report ? If the disciples wanted to lie, they wouldn't have preach the resurrection account on the same city.

Secondly, the jews claim the disciples stole the body, this means, the jews admit, the tomb was empty. Now, why will the religious leader claim the body of christ was stolen ? will the disciples able to defect some well train romans army to steal the body of christ ? In fact, the romans army NEVER claim jesus body was stolen, it was the religious leader make the claim of the stolen body, we all know how jesus condemn the act of the same religious leaders, jesus never had a good time with them when he was alive, so you don't expect them to believe His message or resurrection.

Thirdly, did you know that in the first century, the bones of holy men is venerated in their shrine ? Yes, it was. Jesus' tomb was never venerated as a shrine, this prove the tomb was empty and christ is risen.
