'Abbas (may God be pleased with him) said, "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he was most generous during Ramadan when Jibril would meet him. Jibril used to meet [the Prophet] every night of Ramadan to teach him the Qur`an. He would find him quick to extend his generosity—he was even quicker than the strongest wind" [Bukhari and Muslim].

Fatima (may God be pleased with her) narrated that her father informed her that Jibril (peace be upon him) would recite the Qur`an to him once a year but recited it twice on the year of his death [Bukhari and Muslim].

The companions were present during the revelations and there were records of when Surah/verse precedes other. The abrogrations is clear to the people of knowledge. Since you even can get the dates for the revelation of the verses is it not then easy to know the order?

Can you list out the Books of the Bible and write out the precise date of revelation for each and also the precise author?
bro the Qur'an abrogated itself, there is no argument about that.

What is the name of the scripture in bold below?

you are very funny, the Bible was not compiled that time ? Jesus say in Luke 4:21 "…This day is this scripture Fulfilled in your ears." Did this synagogue in Nazareth have the original manuscript of Isaiah? they understand what Jesus say because they had copies and translations of the original manuscripts !

And at Acts 8:32, Philip was sent to meet up with the Ethiopian eunuch. When Philip found him, he was reading something called "scripture". How on earth did this fellow from Ethiopia get his hands on the original manuscript of the book of Isaiah? And why did that synagogue in Nazareth ever give it to him?

Rashduct4luv:
A Scripture is a revealed Book from God. The Bible which contains several Books most of which has unknown author and no chain of naration! Right from the Pentateuch to the Apocrypha the Books that the Catholics accept which Protestants rejects. How can you compare this to the Qur'an? The Qur'an has no "Letter for so so to so so" (like Paul writing letters to some Churches). The Qur'an has no "..according to Abu Bakr". Have you heard of the companions of Muhammad being the author of any book of the Qur'an? Paul wrote several letters in the Bible. And Luke claimed he was writing from hear says in Luke 1-1-2.

The Qur'an mentioned the People of the Book. Who are the People of the Book? The Christians and the Jews of the People of the Book in our times are indeed those People of the Book that are mentioned in the texts of shari'ah in the Qur'an and sunnah, and they are the kuffar (unbelievers) of the Jews and Christians that existed at the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him). They are the people of the corrupted Torah and corrputed Injeel, as evidenced by the fact that Allah (swt) addressed them and named them "People of the Book" despite their being kuffar and their books being corrupted, as indicated in the following interpretations of the meanings of the aayaat:

Aala 'imran: 70:

O People of the Book! why do you reject the Signs of Allah, of which you are (yourselves) witnesses?

Al-maa'ida: 15:

O People of the Book! there has come to you Our Messenger, revealing to you much that you used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): There has come to you from Allah a (new) light and a perspicuous Book.

Al-hashr: 2: (in regards to the Battle of Bani al-Nadeer):

It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces)

These kuffar among the People of the Book have certain abrogating qualities distinguishing them from the rest of the kuffar, by virtue of the fact that they are recipients of heavenly guidance and are people of previously revealed divine bookseven though they corrupted themunlike the remainder of the kuffar who have neither a previous book nor messenger, such as the Hindus, the Sikhs, the Buddhists, the communists, and others.

From this we can conclude that Christianity is not the religion of Jesus but Paul. All Prophets are the link between God and Man. Was Jesus the link in the OT? No! Which original manuscript did they have? How many manuscript is entirely the same? None of the original documents of the New Testament is known to scholars to be extant; and the existing manuscripts differ from one another. So Stop the lies.

Biblical scholar Gary Habermas adds,

What is usually meant is that the New Testament has far more manuscript evidence from a far earlier period than other classical works. There are just under 6000 NT manuscripts, with copies of most of the NT dating from just 100 years or so after its writing. Classical sources almost always have fewer than 20 copies each and usually date from 700-1400 years after the composition of the work. In this regard, the classics are not as well attested. While this doesn't guarantee truthfulness, it means that it is much easier to reconstruct the New Testament text. Regarding genre, the Gospels are usually taken today to be examples of Roman biographies.
"The Reliability and Inspiration of the Bible". Dr. Habermas Answers Important Questions.

Yes. The Qur'an may have a context and setting. That is why some verses has general application while some have application in a particular setting. The is why most of you who read the Qur'an can misinterpret it without knowing the context / setting of such verse. Qur'an is neither a story book nor a book of history.

You can say your claim without prove. No scripture has been preserved like the Qur'an. Millions keep learning it by heart unlike the Bible.
you have a big problems of learning . the Quran was not reveal in context YET it Abrogated itself. The quran
was not reveal in chronological order, how can
you know which verse is replace ?
Moreover, early Islamic records show that many
of the Surahs (Chapters) were not revealed to
Muhammad at one specific instance but were
delivered piecemeal over a period of time. The
Islamic records also show that some later verses
were added to earlier Surahs under the direction
of Muhammad.
One example of the disorderly chronology is
that Surahs 2:193, 2:216 and 2:217 were
revealed at the beginning of Muhammad’s
arrival in Medina. And it took another SIX years
to reveal Surahs 2:190, 2:191 and 2:192. Yet
Surah 2:193 (which was revealed six years
earlier) was inserted to follow Surah 2:192.
How could it then be known which contradicting
verses were the more authoritative? Without
context and chronology, the “abrogated” and
“abrogator” verses render the entire Qur’an
irrelevant. For example, if one verse encourages
slavery and another condemns it, which is to be
believed and followed?

Stop all this rantings and exessive mentions! I just saw 9 mentions now.

The Qur'an was not yet fully compiled when that verse was revealed. Also the Bible was not compiled as at then. So the scriptures were Injeel and Tawrah! And i have told you that the Tawrah is not OT/ Pentateuch and Injeel is not "Letters" nor "Books according to".

The questions i asked was simple. The Qur'an was compiled between the 7/8th century while the Bible in the form it is now was compiled between the 16/17th century. How can the Qur'an now refer to the Bible that was compiled almost a thousand of years later?

you are very funny, the Bible was not compiled that time ? Jesus say in Luke 4:21 "…This day is this scripture Fulfilled in your ears." Did this synagogue in Nazareth have the original manuscript of Isaiah? they understand what Jesus say because they had copies and translations of the original

When Jesus come Israel reject him as there messiah , so God scatter the nation of Israel all over the world. For 1900 years there is no nation of Israel but God say after two days[ or 2000yrs] I will revive thee, and you, Israel will live in my sight: the scatter Israel became a nation in the year 1948.this is
important because God is reviving the nation of Israel and they are about to live in his sight when Jesus come back to set up his earthly kingdom , have you ever meet a cannanite ? How about the amorite? No because these are Israel enemies and God did not preserve them, the Jew have been preserve because they are God chosen people and he must fulfill and keep his promise he made to them but the Jew are still rejecting Christ, for how long?after two days [or

The Jews wanted to kill him because he spoke in parables which they could not understand.

Who was the one speaking in your Hebrew verse above? Definitely not Jesus. The Author of Hebrew is unknown.

Jesus can not save himself

1.It has always being Obey God's commandment and his Prophet.
Just then, a man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?” 17“Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied, “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” 18“Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’All these I have kept,” said the young man. “What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me. Mathew 19:16-21

2.Jesus can not put people in heaven
Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and knelt down to make a request of Him. 21“What do you want?” He asked. She answered, “Declare that in Your kingdom one of these two sons of mine will sit at Your right hand, and the other at Your left.” 22“You do not know what you are asking,” Jesus replied. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?” “We can,” the brothers answered
You will indeed drink My cup,” Jesus said. “But to sit at My right or left is not Mine to grant. These seats belong to those for whom My Father has prepared them. Matthew 20:20-23

3.Jesus can perform Miracles as human but does not know the hour. His knowledge is limited.
Jesus said: "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (Matthew 24:36)

4.Jesus prayed to the father by bowing. He was really afraid. God praying to God? Was God praying to himself here?
Going a little farther, he (Jesus) fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father... (Mathew 26:39)
So he (Jesus) left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. (Matthew 26:44)
One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. (Luke 6:12)
the Jews wanted to kill him because he speak in parables? did you Read the Bible verse I give? or you don't understand ?

5 Have this mind among yourselves, which
is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he
was in the form of God, did not count
equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7
but MADE HIMSELF nothing, taking the form
of a servant, being born in the likeness of
men.8And being found in human form, he
humbled himself by becoming obedient to
the point of death, even death on a cross.
— Philippians 2:5–8

what did you understand by the phrase "made himself"? ( emptied himself)

He emptied Himself of glory. in John 17:5, Jesus prayed,
“Glorify me...with the glory
that I had with you before the
world existed.”

He gave up the adoration of the saints and angels when He came into this world.

He emptied Himself of independent authority. In John
5:30, Jesus said, "I can do nothing on My own.” He
brought Himself into a different relationship with the
Father, where ALL of His activities and actions had to
be cleared in that unusual way. Though equal with the
Father, now uniquely submissive to Him.

He released the voluntary exercise of His divine
attributes. Compare John 1:43–51 with Matthew 24:36 to see how Jesus sometimes was omniscient and sometimes not. He gave up eternal riches. I
just want you to try to imagine for a moment the treatment that the Son of God, the King of the universe, gets in heaven. Yet 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “...though he was rich, yet for your sake he became
poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.”

He gave up His intimate relationship with the Father.
Who can describe the fellowship that exists between
the first and second Person of the Trinity? And to hear Jesus on the cross in Matthew 27:46 shouting, “My God, why have You forsaken Me?” He made Himself nothing, for you and me.

Who's word was John 1 vs 1? It was John's not Jesus's. John said in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Purposely misinterpreted the verse you quoted above by saying Jesus called himself one with God. All na lie. I will give the full text here.

John 17:20-26

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

The words in bold is what you rely on but on reading it to the words in red, we now understand that what Jesus meant was entirely different from what you said.

How can Jesus be one with God and be one with his followers? It was a Proverb/Parable. Oneness of purpose! Not Godhead! Not trinity!

O People of the Scripture. do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

Quran 16:44

ordinances. And We revealed to you the message

this Quranic verse is talking about the scripture because the Quran wasn't revealed in WRITTEN ordinance. This means there were copies in circulation. How possible all copies vanished without

even the Quran commended the Bible, the Quran advice the Muslims to confirmed the truth from the scripture, but Muslims today disobey the Quran advice , will Allah ask you to confirm from a corrupted book ? or from a book that is in non existence ? In addition, the Qur’an says that God’s Word cannot be changed (Surah 6:34; 10:34, 64), and it makes no distinction between the various revelations of God.

“We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to
Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them” (Surah 2:136).

when and were was this books corrupted ? Torah, Gospel and the psalm ? this books are froms Allah as claim by the Quran , and Allah had promised to guide them, saying this books are corrupted, don't you think you Muslims are saying Allah fails to guide his revelations ?

The bible charges us to pray without ceasing
When I ask a Christian how many times he prays that is what he tells me, yet most Christians don't actually pray

Most also just pray in the morning, but this does not fulfil the word that we must pray without ceasing.

If you are being sincere, how many times do you pray In a day?

NB: Only spirit-filled Christian
if you set target to pray 10 times a day, after the tenth prayer, no more prayer for that day ?

pray without ceasing does not mean how many times we pray. it mean we should be consistent with prayer, there's never a circumstance, there's never an aspect of your life that you should not be in conversation with the Lord. There's not an area of your life , there's not a time or a season or a period where you're not regularly, repeatedly turning and bringing it to the Lord in prayer.

And Allah now send somebody (Mohammed)peace be upon him 600 years after Jesus have preached injeel(scripture of Allah) to the world. With a different teaching and corrections of what happened before his birth even correcting the stories and words of his ancestors (for Allah gave it to him).

Now someone WAKEUP and say all the injeel IS LOST!!!!!!! No record, only some RECORDS,recorded by Jesus dicples (JESUS FOLLOWER'S) who have no brain to share, practice or think about his teaching 33/years on earthhuh

Imagine Buhari losing in 2003 then few months later staging a revolution protest. Makes zero sense. Nigeria is doomed beyond redemptions even fake activists like Sowore can't save it. Majority of us have gone to work. Those without jobs are at home. We only have mouth on social media in nigeria
it is step by step, this is the first step taken. this is a good sign, wither the revolution happen or not, it is still a good sign.

Jesus christ is a man who was possessed by God Himself, that is why He say "I and the Father are ONE" why dint you quote the rest of John 14?

5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t
know where you are going, so how can
we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the
truth and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through me. 7 If you really
know me, you will know[b] my Father as
well. From now on, you do know him and
have seen him.”
8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father
and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me,
Philip, even after I have been among you
such a long time? Anyone who has seen
me has seen the Father. How can you
say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you
believe that I am in the Father, and that
the Father is in me? The words I say to
you I do not speak on my own authority.
Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who
is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I
say that I am in the Father and the
Father is in me; or at least believe on the
evidence of the works themselves. 12
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in
me will do the works I have been doing,
and they will do even greater things than
these, because I am going to the Father.
13 And I will do whatever you ask in my
name, so that the Father may be glorified
in the Son. 14 You may ask me for
anything in my name, and I will do it
Christianity Etc › Re: How To Discourage A Suffering Friend by malvisguy212(op): 7:28am On Aug 04, 2019
malvisguy212:
I’ve told suffering friends about how other people are passing through the same situation or even More, I've even given examples from scripture like " all things work together for good for those who love God" and many.

Surprisingly, my advice didn’t help at all. My words just added to their pain. when a friend is told, his circumstances isn't that bad and he or she needed to trust God, am I discouraging them from there situation or am I adding more pain to their sorrow ? saying to them " all things work together for good to those who love God" yes, you are right , but don't you think they have herd all that before ? as job say:

Job 16:2-5
“I HAVE HEARD ALL THIS BEFORE. What miserable comforters you are! Won’t you ever stop blowing hot air? What makes you keep on talking? I could say the same things if you were in my place. I could spout off criticism and shake my head at you. But if it were me, I would encourage you. I would try to take away your grief”

job wanted them to stop talking, stop blowing hot air, if they are in his situation, he could say the same thing to them. So how should we treat our suffering friends? What does being a friend to someone in need even look like? What should we say to our neighbors who are struggling? What should we say to our neighbors who are struggling?

From my experience, the most comforting thing we can do is to sit and say nothing. When Job’s friends first saw him, “ they sat with him on the ground, seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his suffering was very great ” (Job 2:13 ). Job’s friends should have finished the way they began.

listen to your suffering friends while they pour out there heart to you is more than words, they need you to listen to them while they cry, remember, there are no easy answer in times of grief and sufferings, we don't need to be savior to them they already have one so do we.

It’s hard to be compared to the seemingly perfect Christians in the world. Who appear to face every trial with smiles on their faces. Who never seem to get discouraged.

happy Sunday.

LordReed:
Unless you can quote the place where I said the claim was that the god made life from life then it is you who is dishonest.

The question here is not what life was made by, the question is what life was made from. The Genesis accounts states that the god spoke to non-living elements to bring forth living things so in essence the god made living things from non-living matter. Your answer does nothing to explain this except to say loving things were made by a living being, a position this question is not interested in.
I would likely you to know that the Genesis account did not entirely explained God creation, but only that which is particularly relevant to mankind. your arguments here is base on young earth creationist , they depend ONLY on Genesis account.
Christianity Etc › Re: The 66 Books Of The Bible Is The Conplete Inerant Word Of God To Mankind. by malvisguy212: 8:31pm On Aug 03, 2019
The Bible must be the invention either of good men or angels, bad men or devils, or of God. However, it was not written by good men, because good men would
not tell lies by saying ‘Thus saith the Lord;’ it was not written by bad men because they would not write about doing good duty, while condemning sin,and themselves to hell; thus, it must be written by DIVINE INSPIRATION.
