Josh121:Is she spotting? I think you should see a doctor. Also do a pt test. It may be preggy signs. #mythoughtsthough |
A BIG congratulations to you, jummaitwins. You will carry your babies to full term. In sound health, you and your babies. Enjoy your pregnancy. Happy birthday @zaynie. Wishing you the very best of God's provisions. @fvine. I hail. Well done Ma |
Fumbaby:Thanks. I just opted out |
chichung91:Its still fair. Gynescope at PH charges 290k for IUI procedure. |
Fvine:Thanks for the response. The rate is quite reasonable and flexible. |
Jackofall:It all depends on the agreed mode of payment. However, most pay per session. |
On a different note, the said psychologists the op chatted with, was not very professional. The tone of some parts of the chat lacked empathy and it displayed rudeness. |
Some psychological theory (especially Sigmund Freud) holds that sex is a need, that there are stages to a psychosexual development of a human being, which starts from when an individual is born. This theory is quite elaborate, however, according to Freud, the conflict of each stages must be resolved, before one can advance to another stage. If each stage is not gratified/resolved, then the individual will be fixated at that stage of psychosexual development. Having said that, you should know that psychology is an ever evolving science. This Freud's theory was propounded in 1920. As is in all science, more studies and theories evolve as long as people study. Hence, I feel the psychologists, you chatted with, felt you have expended your free coin, and may be willing to indulge you in a more elaborate discussion/session, had you been a paying client. However, different clinical psychologists have different orientations and school-of-thoughts. That Freud, theorized about sexual need about 100 years ago, may not be relevant in our present time, culture, ethnic setting etc. Think about it. NB: Am a clinical psychologist myself. Hope this helps |
chichung91:Pls what procedure did you do? Is it IUI? |
Well articulated @fvine. Well done. Lol...if dh hear say b-job (mouth action) na sin, heeeeeee!!!!!!! My father must hear it oooo. Lol Happy and healthy bumping @mamajesu |
LadyGuinivere:Nne, like I said I was asleep through out the whole procedure. I was given an IV injection, and within 2 mins, I was knocked out. Your question about prevention of adhesion, pass me. I don't know that one. Anyway, in my little knowledge, hysteroscopy is not done to prevent adhesions, but rather to remove adhesions, and clear the uterus of anyother unwanted substance there. There is another procedure for the prevention of adhesions. Pls research on it. Hope I have answered your questions? |
LadyGuinivere:It was operative. To remove white reflective stuff that the Dr said looks like bones. |
Wow.....a big congratulations to you @phummy1821. Our God answers prayers. Not when we want, but in His own special time. He makes ALL things beautiful |
LadyGuinivere:@ gynescope, hysteroscopy is 95k, but you will have to run an infection test-15k, Fasting blood sugar -3k, scan-6k, =119k |
@fvine. Thanks for the best wishes. I say a big Amen. And pray same for you too |
wonyi:I have replied your pm |
Orente21:Read back. Somebody replied you |
Moving on..... So I had a hysterscopy yesterday. Slept through it. Didn't feel any discomfort. Just spotting, which has stopped. I used Gynescope PH. It wasn't so bad after all. |
I tried something different that worked. So let me share. For the past 7 days I have been on a strict diet of fruits, salads and mainly protein, (with the aim to loose weight) I also started taking Omega -3 (3,6&9) I have only taken this for 1 week. 1 capsule a day( as against the 2 capsule a day, which was written on the drug.I was not on any drug before now, not even folic acid. Am not really a drug person) The kind of EWCM I had yesterday/today no be hereooo. I used to have ewcm, but not this stretchy and quantity. Unfortunately, dh travelled, so there was no 'doing', but am happy cos I learnt something new. So, dear sisters, if you dont normal have fertile CM, try eating lots of fruit and start up on Omega 3, you may be surprised with the results. Hope this helps someone. #keephopealive Fertility blessings@ all |
Thanks for the response @tammyloreoluwa |
Dear mamas, pls I have a question. How long does a hormone profile test takes to come out? I did mine, and the hospital said it will be out in 2 weeks. Abeg is that normal? What's the normal period |
CovenantBabies:I haved replied your pm |
HEALTHCARE55:You are on the wrong thread. Pls kindly leave us. How insensitive can people get? |
Sosopi:Welcome my dear sister to this wonderful family. May your stay be very short and very fruitful. You can get most, if not all of what you listed at Health plus shop at Spar shopping Mall, near Govt house Ph |
[quote author=favouredestiny post=43394043]Hello mamas, please is it pelvic scan or transvaginal scan that I should go for? I don't know d difference between the two of them. [/quote Pelvic scan is done on the lower abdomen/tummy. But the transvag.inal scan is done tru a device that is inserted into the va.gina. They are not painful. |
Am sorry I have not been joining in the prayers. Permit me to say mine now. Heavenly Father, The Rock of ages, the giver of children. We thank You for our lives, husbands, homes, jobs, academics, even for our trials. Thank You because we know its a phase that will surely come to pass, and You will be glorified. Lord, i lift up these fruitful women on this TTC thread before You. We are known by our monikers, but You know our names and perculiar circumstances. We invite You to those circumstances, to those issues about out fertility that has gotten us perplexed. We ask that You take charge. Do that which only You can do. Bless us with beautiful children. Who will fill our homes and heart with warmth and love. Jehovah, The tear-wiper, wipe our hidden and open tears. Heal us of depression and sadness. Restore love, peace and hope in our homes again. Keep our husbands and make them love us and be faithful to us, even at this period of our lives. Thank You Lord, for we know You have answered us. In Jesus' Mighty Name we pray. Amen and Amen |
