Women of nowadays believe in 50/50. They quickly forget about our tradition. What stops you from going down on your knees to beg your man? A man doesn't value a woman much when the latter acts independent and disrespectful. You women are not meant to be slaves but as my mother used to say, a woman that obeys her husband's directives is not a fool, she wants to remain a good wife for the rest of her life. The same goes with a man, but as a core Nigerian, the apologia can only happen in some certain cases. |
All respect and gratitude to Nairaland Lawyer in helping me follow through with everything as regards having a landed property in Ogombo. Getting a plot of land in Lekki vicinity(Ogombo) was a dream to me until I met De Law, as I fondly call him. Having a lawyer that handles your work as if it's his is a great thing. I am happy that I was privileged to meet an honest barrister of law. I have called and met with many property agents here but it was so disappointing that all they wanted was my hard-earned money and afterward, swindle me. The moment I called De Law, everything turned good. He assured that I would get my desired plot and he fulfilled it. He encouraged me never to part with my money, despite the fact that he personally knows the agent. He ensured that everything was monitored from the on-set. With the assistance of De Law, I was able to buy what I would never have bought if I should go through property agent. He even did not collect up to 5% legal fees from me. He is a very kind man and the man I can recommend for anyone that wants to buy a property in Lagos. I am now a proud owner of a 'dry land' in Ogombo Lekki axis. Thank you so much De-Law. As you are being kind and helpful to people. May God continue to empower you in knowledge, good health and wealth. Amen. Thanks a lot. |
naijasexy: ^^ What are you saying? Did I ever allude to anything suggesting even remotely that it happened to me? Rubbish!Ok then, accept my apologies. Just ensure you don't fill your mind with thoughts of evil spirits, et al. It could get straight to your sub-conscious mind and affect you pyschologically. Whenever you fill stressed, do some exercise, call a friend over. |
naijasexy: ^^Well like I said earlier on, it is also prevalent in other parts of the world but because of the strong religious background of the average Nigerian, we tend to read more (negative) meanings to it than do other parts of the world. How do you know it is happening in other parts of the world? Does that mean it happens to you as well? How does the experience look like? Do they appear to you in real life as well? How do they look like? Do you watch so much porn? |
H$LBroker:And remember not to take a bottle of big stout ![]() |
Most people won't be able to sleep tonight oo.. It is 6:30pm in Nigeria . Tonight some women are gonna get shagged by the incubi ![]() Apparently, listing to this thing, my sub-conscious mind has accepted it, and everything seems moving fast to me. My AC is blowing too fast as if someone is adding more gas, my tv is making some strange noise, and something is moving in my room, see the power of MIND ooo, chai Oya where are the staunch christians, open book of Jeremiah and fire prayers, when your church pastors are riding in bentleys and benzes. How many houses have you built in heaven? And how many does Chris Oyakhilome have in South Africa? ![]() Really some God-forsaken, boring human beings will be thinking of becoming incubus so they can shag women anyhow ![]() |
Likes of you move closer to God if you have one problem or the other; if things seem going on well for you, you will open your maggot-filled mouth and say there is no living God. |
I have been pondering about this for God-knows-how-long. The issue of spiritualism, in my thoughts, in Nigeria, has been a pandemic issue. My own perspectives, if anything happens to human being in life, he or she should take it as a fate. Why would we be attributing everything to spiritual problems? I have a sister that has been affected by sleep paralysis( orinrin), it took 10 years before we were able to solve her problems despite having carried her to different spiritual consultants and spent so much money. You know what? Google solved the problems. On a daily basis, I do hear and see people having bad/good experience, and they attribute the bad aspect of it to spiritual attacks. I presume white people do have problems, and they work towards solving it. My questions, please I want Nairalanders to post their views about spiritualism in Nigeria. What are your experiences and how is it related to spiritual attack? Have you ever found out it could be every-day phenomenon to people across the world. Have you found out you are not alone in whatever problems you are? What are the steps to take to different spiritual problems apart from consulting a cleric that will need to put food on his/her table. Just wondering |

send mail to olusegun.olawale82@gmail.com Thanks |
steo:Thanks for your input my man. You are doing a massive project there, may God see you through it. The 2.8million you spent on that decking is still baffling. How many bags of cements did you use? Thx |
spyder880:Bros I hail. Thanks for the quotation, but let's start ruling out some things. 1. I used granite, not gravel( 12 trips, verified, and accounted for). 2. Bro, I am not with the quotation here, but what the company gave me, was more than what you calculated, I would request for the quotation and I will tell you everything. As I saw your quotation, I quite understand that the metres might be different, hence the difference in material units. You can easily verify that via the number of cement bags you used. Mine is quite more than that( 310), apart from the builder and supervisor, my wife was present that day when they were decking the building to ascertain that none of the materials was taken away and we even had to buy 10 more cements! Conduit, I spent 210,000. Carpenter: 195,000.00k. Bricklayer: 320,500k. Iron works(welder): 125,000k. A double sand in Ibadan is 12,000 naira. You can notice all the difference bro. Thanks all the same. Now I am relaxed that I wasn't duped. No give me heart attack spyder ![]() |
spyder880:Bro, don't give a quotation of 1million for the 2 wing 3 bedroom house o or else you will give man heart attack here! The rod pricing is correct bro. I did make calls to different companies on this before commiting to the cheapest one which was 2.2. No fall my hand come write one million abeg cuz I know you like putting maggi to your soup ![]() |
spyder880:Bros, this house wey I dey see small? You won't appreciate that structure until you finish the construction Una go dash me? ![]() |
spyder880:3million? Oh Spyder, spare me that The iron rod alone gulped 2.2mil. I used 310bags of cement. Granite(more than 600k). Planks, labour charges( you can negotiate more than I do on this though), bamboo, sand, miscellaneous. Tell me how you are going to spend 3 million on this sir? steo:Steo: Sir, it is 2 blocks of 3 bedroom flat up and down, making 4 blocks of 3 bedroom flat. The corridor that passes through is wide. You spend 2.8mil on yours? Was it just 3 bedroom up and down, making 2 blocks of 3 bedroom, or? Please shed more light, thanks |
maninmood:Spyder, how much did you spend on the 'decking'?? The foundation with German floor, how much ![]() |
Demain_man: ![]() |
Spyder: I am not able to upload the building pictures here cuz it's on my bb and the usb is not here. I hope you can remember what I asked you as per the expenses that wld be spent on the building foundation then and you told me it would cost 1.5 and I finally spent 2.5. To fellow Nairalanders that think I was duped, I am not a first-time house owner. I've had my own experience with building a house. Moreover, I did not assign it to dubious people, I assigned the project to a trusted builder and a reliable supervisor; the pricing of the materials is done by myself by simply calling the respective companies. Labour charges is done with 'SENSE' ![]() I think I made a mistake here. It is actually not 6 bedroom flat. It is a building with 2 blocks of 3 bedroom flat up and down, and it has a big corridor in between. Let's say out of the 120 x 60 land measurement, the building covers 100 x 40. The foundation with german floor expenses was about 2.5mil, decking is 5.2mil, and I understand why I have spent close to 10mil. I hope you all understand now. Please do not call me a fool. But the fact that Spyder has only spent 4mil on this building is surprising. Can we see the recent picture of the building sir? |
spyder880:Bro, please I stand to be corrected. This can't be true! Please analyze again. So you spent only 4 million naira to build this massive building from foundation level? While I spent around 10 million naira on mine( the same 6 bedroom flat) and the house is just a little above decking( NB: It is not in Lagos. It is in Ibadan)!!! How can you spend only 4 million naira and the house is almost completed?!! Please analyze, please!! Thank you Sir. |
Thank you so much DE LAW. I can't wait so seal a deal through you. I am 100% confident in you. God bless you. Keep it up. |
Great car, but the moment I saw the price, ctrl + w came to rescue ![]() |
Good day Nairalanders. Happy New year to everyone. I am writing this piece cuz I have been having a general problem known as 'PENIAPHOBIA'. I am a hardworking married, well-to-do man. I have a great family. However, I have this problem known as 'fear of poverty'. It is not that I am poor, I am averagely OK. But almost every hour, I am filled with thoughts of being without a penny in the nearest future. Reasons: I have seen lots of rich men that once had houses, owned cars; but now living without even a bicycle. Moreover, I was not born with a silver spoon and I obviously know the feeling of having nothing. I read articles about conquering the fear, but I am still not quenching it. It is not as if I am accepting that poverty is a necessity, but I am always afraid about, 'WHAT IF'. This, peradventure, does help me in investing the little I have, but it still not helping me live a fulfilled life. My thoughts of poverty is bigger than thoughts of success. I am limited and it is not helping. Please do advise me. Please and please, I would appreciate if you do not nag because in one way or the other, everyone goes through this thought in life. Thanks |

@Iysayah: You have quite spoken the truth, the truth about my country Nigeria. Thank God millions of us are still wallowing under poverty. Developed countries have gone through this phase before, and yet they survived. Every country has her own experience when it comes to poverty, terrorism, et al. You asked us to divert our energies to the right direction, you actually mean REVOLUTION, am I right? Like that of Libya? I agree that our country men are quite vulnerable when it comes to the thingy called REVOLUTION. However, you are stupendously insane. How can you come out of your cave called country and imprecate us? It is a pity you are a weakling for not mentioning the country you hailed from. Meaning, you are not proud of your damn country! Listen, a.s.s.h.o.le, we value lives, unlike the Americans that fly their drones to kill thousands if not millions of people for their insatiable and selfish greed for MONEY and POWER! By the way, who asked this wasted s.p.e.r.m to sign on Nigeria forum? Ensure you name your country, or else, I will be forced to believe you are an ape you described yourself to be. |
tEsLim:Bro, I am not fronting. I put on 100.23g of 22k solid yellow gold on me not to talk of solid bracelet and rings. Big ups dawg |
