President Muhammadu Buhari has won all the 44 local government areas of Kano State with 1.4 million votes.
The INEC collation officer for the presidential election in Kano, Magaji Garba, announced that Mr Buhari scored 1,464,768 (78.9 per cent) of the total votes cast to beat the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who polled 391,593 (21.1 per cent).
Kano has 5,391,581 registered voters, out of which 2,006,410 voters were accredited for the presidential election.
The result showed that the total votes cast was 1,964,751, out of which 73,617 votes were rejected. Valid votes were 1, 891,134.

The Presidential Candidate of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari, has won seven of the 27 local government areas in Borno, as election result collation in the Saturday’s Presidential election is progressing in the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that presidential collation was conducted at the Kashim Ibrahim of College of Education, Maiduguri.

The exercise presided over by the state’s Presidential Returning Officer, Prof. Saminu Abdulrahaman, was conducted smoothly in the presence of party agents, election observers, security agents and journalists.
NAN reports that Buhari scored the highest cast in seven of the 27 local government areas as indicated in the results so far submitted for collation by the returning officers of the councils.

The councils were Nganzai; Mobbar, Dikwa, Abadam, Guzamala, Gubio and Magumeri.
The presidential election results so far collated indicated that Buhari was taking the lead against his closest opponent, Atiku Abubakar, of the PDP.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the results of Makarfi/Kudan and Ikara/Kubau Federal Constituencies.
Announcing the result in Makarfi, Prof. Tijjani Abubakar of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria said Mukhtar Sani Shehu Ladan of the APC scored 59,495 votes to defeat Ahmed Hassan Jumare of the PDP who scored 35,126.

Therefore, Ladan had been elected to represent Makarfi/Kudan in the House of Representatives, which is the constituency of the former governor of Kaduna state and ex-interim national chairman of the PDP, Ahmed Muhammed Makarfi.

President Muhammadu Buhari is leading in Katsina State, from the four local governments results so far declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in the state.
Professor Fatima Muktar, the state collation officer, said the four councils so far declared are Ingawa, Kurfi, Matazu and Daura.

In Ingawa, Buhari of All Progressives Congress polled 29,230 as against Atiku’s PDP 7,625 while in Kurfi, Buhari got 25,074 against Atiku’s 9,175.
The President polled 27,625 in Matazu while Atiku got 9,151 and in Daura, Buhari got 37,648 against Atiku’s 4,650 .
