Finally WES updates me on the completion date for my evaluation after two months angry If CRS scores goes up more than my calculated score, wil torment them in that WES office for the 6months with calls .. angry
\

Happy for you. So is the completion date given when they updated your account still subject to 20+ days even though they've delayed for a month already after verification? I hope not.

To those who are always after the next big thing, the next big %, reports circulating the financial platform has it that Bond issued by the Visionscape guys has just defaulted in its coupon payment.

What surprised me, was that this bond was rated A+ by Agusto and co.
So it means all this credit rating agencies are just busy dashing marks without due diligence.

4bn put into this bond is temporarily hanging, this is just to warn those who are always after the next big thing, always chasing the next big rates.

Despite the bond backed by Lagos state Govt
Despite the awesome rating by a supposed credible rating agency, they still DEFAULTED!!!

Abeg continue your Tbills o, FG cannot default, atleast not in this life smiley
Hmm, so is SUKUK bond safe?

I just sent my degree certificate to WES via fax using Hellofax after receiving a notification from them yesterday. My concern is that it took WES over a month (about 40 days after receiving my transcript) to notify me that they require my degree certificate. All along, the status of my evaluation had been "Evaluation in progress; you do not need to do anything at this time". So now I'm wondering if the 20 days are already counting. Also, I have still not received any message from WES that they sent my transcript to my University in Nigeria for verification. Do they skip that process sometimes?
I don't think they've ever skipped verification for a degree obtained in Nigeria. It is well.

Ifeoma77:
It's not about that, is your school very proactive in responding to verification requests? Do you have a contact? If yes, then WES is a good choice and definitely faster.
Also, since it's a Nigerian degree, WES will require WAEC.
If not, better go with IQAS/ICES to avoid verification issues.
I think we need to take a closer look at WES and its recent delays, even before the verification stage.

Transcript finally delivered to WES on Feb 19, I followed up with a call and account was updated to "We received your document(s). We are reviewing your document(s)” on Feb 23 & same again on Feb 25. Now up till this moment, no email or update about verification being sent to institution. I've called a couple of times and sent messages through their "Contact Us" form, still nothing.

Another instance is that of @amoskitto quoted above. So, I think this should be considered when advising people on which evaluation body to use.

Any advise on what to do please? I'm considering the Facebook messenger suggestion but I really don't know, maybe I'm the one being impatient.

Hmm!

Hello all
Please can anyone assist with the timelines for WES ECA?

I commenced my ECA process early in January; as at 11 February, WES had received all my documents (University transcript and WAEC requirements) and updated my status to "Your evaluation is in progress. You are not required to do anything at this time." It has now been this way for 11 days. I understand that WES will send my documents back to my school for verification. Please what status should I expect to see when WES sends to my school? Is it normal to take over 11 days after initially receiving my transcripts for my status to change?

I need to know when WES sends the credentials to my school so I can start following up with my contact there.
Thanks
Any update yet on this yet?

Dear people,

I am tired o and it even makes me laugh than cry.

I applied in 2017 for a study permit for a diploma. I have a Bsc. The application was refused solely on the ground that my course did not match my background. No mention of any other reason.

Late 2018, I got an admission for an Master's in the same field of study as my B.Sc and I am also teaching post-secondary school in yhe same field.

I applied for study permit with SOP, letter of sponsorship, bank account of sponsor with savings which more than covered the tuition and living cost for my two 2years in canada. Sponsor is my brother, provided letter from his employee showing strong salary, provide birth certificates to show we are brothers.

Even provided proof of my own personal funds available to my use aside that of the sponsor.

My SoP even told them why I was rejected the first time and now I have admission for M.Sc etc, my plans after study etc.

My employer gave me letter to show I have a study leave and are willing to take me back on my return.

I included every single document you can think of

I was rejected again. Reason:

1. Travel History

2. Purpose of my visit

3. Current employment situation

3. Financial resources

Like right now I am confused as to what is really wrong?
@keeptryingdgu, Sorry about the delay. Perhaps you should order for GCMS notes to be able to know what the concerns of the VO are exactly.

In the meantime, you might want to see if you qualify and might be interested in the option in this link.

I believe this should be what you need. Now I've never used it personally before but I read of people who contact IRCC this way on other threads after an application has already been submitted. Seniors can input too.

@Denerystormborn, @Thetherapist if you guys still need a contact in Lautech that can do the leg work to help you follow up on transcript, PM me so I can share his contact.

@bayojbbb2002, if you're still at the stage of verification, I read in a post on Page 190 in Part 6 where @dudujomi mentioned that Mrs Ogunsina is in-charge of verification. I don't know how far that is true, but you may wish to contact her. Her contact detail is on that page.

Cheers!

Lolz let's just chill. Booking of space is mostly done for fun. Similar to the nairaland FTC spirit. Whether we like it or not it's cool to feature on the first pages of this sooo popular thread... Even people having nothing to do with EE process sha struggle to book that space.

Also some people want to make their prophetic declarations... I shall announce my PPR on this thread, etc.
@Tojued, and that's another angle to it. Thanks.

All work and no play.....

Cheers everyone, lets keep pushing, we will get there.

Lol... something i noticed from the previous parts is that...

Most of the people that quickly booked the first set of pages for PPR announcement, never modified or quoted the pages even after getting their PPRs.

Is it not funny?? Lol

Pls... the activity of booking a land, space etc. is not a Jamboree.

So if you have booked a land, you can quote it or modify when you wanna announce your PPR.

Tainks! grin grin
@raphrulz, similar to my opinion. I know we are all anticipating and putting our faith to test(It will happen by God's grace) but booking a space and not using it, in my opinion, is as good as spamming the thread and making the pages to pile up fast.

Then I'm also thinking, if I book a space on page 1 and then the thread is on Pg 200 when my PPR testimony arrives, even if I go back to that page 1 to edit and update my full PPR journey there, I want to believe most people won't get to read and learn from my PPR gist because its the original date and Page 1 that the space was booked that would still be showing and not the present date and page 200 that both old and new members will get to read and learn from in real time.

Maybe I'm not making sense but I'm finding it hard to understand why the booking of space is really necessary. I stand to be corrected pls.

It will end in praise for us all.

I'm sorry about this but try and resolve it. Did you make payment online? Which state are you trying to register or complete the registration? I just registered my kid brother for NOUN and all processes have been completed.

For NACETEM, I think you will be attending classes. Alternatively, get a university in the state you are serving and enrol for part-time PGD/Masters there. You still have age and time on your side.

All the best.
@DonTee07, could you please give a low down of how you went about PGD for your kid brother. I have a friend considering NOUN to up his crs score too. Thanks.

@LagosNIV, good day VO sir,

I renewed my B1/B2 via dropbox around July 2017, however, I have been unable to visit the US since then and its not looking like I'll be able to take a vacation before it expires later in July. My concern is this?

Will I still be able to make use of dropbox(IWP) for renewal when my unused visa expires?
Or should I just make sure to use the visa before it expires? No guarantees of making this happen as of right now.

Thanks for your time.

Pls ma you can mail me on arem.sam@gmail.com so I can send some materials to you for you to study as guide. I don't tell people stocks to buy except my households so I want u to do it yourself. Since my experience of 2008 market crashed, I have told myself that I can't make loss again in capital market and as such, I went extra mile to read about stock investment. Even my broker can't tell me stocks to buy and time to buy it. I only discuss with him occasionally to sample his mind on a stock after I have done my due diligence. Before I could buy diff stocks like 10 companies but now just max of 4 and am OK for my yr target and am thinking of reducing it to just 2. These are the result of self research and due diligence. Get prepared and become great like my mentor Warren buffet, many will keep complaining about APC PDP while guys are making millions legitimately. See you in the board room!

He/she initially had 3-4 million in his/her account as savings, right? I reckon this amount was accumulated over a period of time.....and suddenly, another 3 million is deposited in his/her account? IRCC might pick this up as an unexplained source of funds. My opinion, doing a gift deed wouldn't hurt.

CC: @phemocheee
ontarioissauga:
If no gift deed, where did the cash come from and entered the account? People don't want gift deeds as if they made the cash themselves.
Well, I want to to believe the poster(@phemocheee) is yet to get ITA as of this day. If this is indeed correct, coupled with the fact that IRCC requires "the average balance for the past six months" for Proof of Funds, then the average balance over the course of the last 6months should be 6-7m. Why go out of that bracket to do a gift deed? I could be wrong but I feel it may not be necessary.

Again, its always best to err on the side of caution. So, doing the gift deed is all good too.

Good morning everyone

Congratulations to the new PPR grabbers, I'm happy for you....Excellence is your portion.

Please I need your help guys.

I'm aware that for a family of 3, POF is about 6million. I had about 3 to 4million as my savings while I received another 3million from my Dad about seven months ago. That means a total of about 7million has been sitting in my account for up to seven months.

Now to my question, do I need to do gift of deed to explain the 3 million I received 7months ago or should I just print my statement of account since the total required funds has been in my account for more than 6 months?
@phemocheee, I don't think there any need to do a gift deed anymore since its been in your account for that long. Its as good as its yours since forever. Please invest the money already. Imagine you could have made an extra 300k plus if you had fixed it in an investment for 6months. Investment letter from the investment is good to use for EE as well, people on here use treasury bills certificate for POF. You can still include your SOA as well to show proof salary earnings et al. So its a win win for you. Not too late to take action. Hurry.

It's really urgent. Please help
You will have to merge all the pdf files you want to attach to a place holder together as one before you upload. You have to make sure the final size is not more than 4mb, you may need to compress to reduce the size and still you have to make sure its still legible too. You can use the link below;

@ahiboilandgas Pls how did you resolve this matter? I'm having an issue with gtb too and I think I might need to take it up. Did you have to call their head office or something?

I gave a clear instruction for TBills last Friday(Feb 1st) that I want the interest to be invested alongside the principal. But no, they only deducted the discounted value and left the interest in my account. Now they're saying they can re-invest the interest for me but I don't want that. There's a reason I want this to be in a SINGLE investment and reinvesting the interest separately is unacceptable to me. Please how can I address this matter?

Let me add that I suggested that they liquidate it and do a fresh TB for me today but they(at d branch TB was done) said that due to custodian charges, i will lose some money from my principal. Like my original amount won't be complete. I'm not understanding this people o. Please help me.
