The more they post their yeye results, the higher the price goes grin
Depends on your perspective and your understanding of their business. A good result in my opinion.

first registrar can delay in activated e-dividend o. i had to report to sec n sec mailed them. but even at that, they delayed beyond 8months
Am still expecting my unclaimed div in abc trans. request for status report and copy sec if need be.
Escalation might not be necessary. Explore simple alternatives first. Place that call today. wink It has worked with First registrars, APR and Cardinal Stone yielding results from instant (while on call) to two weeks (for outstanding dividends)

https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2017/10/20/sec-appoints-deloitte-to-lead-forensic-audit-of-oando-as-firms-shares-are-suspended-on-jse/

This SEC people are not serious o. Is it not this same Akintola Williams Deloitte that are known for their questionable previous corporate audits that they are appointing to do this 'forensic' audit? Oando will walk. Trust me .
I believe you meant Wale Tinubu will walk. Don't put your money on it. SEC has already reached a conclusion of their own with damning evidences against the management. They are only enlisting the help of a professional audit firm to confirm if so or not. There will be casualties.

"SEC explained that it had carried out a comprehensive review of the petitions from Mangal and Ansbury and found a breach of the provisions of the Investments & Securities Act (ISA) 2007; breach of the SEC Code of Corporate Governance for Public Companies; suspected insider dealing; suspected related party transactions not conducted at arm’s length; and discrepancies in the shareholding structure of Oando Plc, among others.
SEC said these findings were weighty and needed further investigation

One is Q3 (Jul-Sept) result while the other is 9M (Jan-Sept) result. Q3 alone is not impressive, hence the muted/neutral initial reaction to the result.

On the Diamond brouhaha, I'm inclined to believe the post from Rebekah2011 about StanbicIBTC offloading 500m units of Diamond on behalf of a client. It is possible the seller has placed a 'Fill or Kill' sale order. In which case, if you don't bid for the exact order size the deal doesn't go through. Any other seller without this condition, will and can jump the queue in this case. Also note that the 500m volume is not placed in a single trade on the floor except via a crossed deal. Could it be that StanbicIBTC couldn't get a willing buyer to cross the volume with?

abeg what do you mean by write back, does it mean recovery of loan loss now to be declared as profit?
Banks take impairment for doubtful loans or loans that are non-performing. When the loan starts to perform, that is, the debtor starts to repay loan plus interest as agreed, the bank reclassifies the loan as performing and adds it to it's P/L account. The conditions governing this is spelt out by the IFRS. In FBNH case, it's the Aiteo loan.
However, I don't know the effect of other loans that could have been impaired in the course of this year o.

In my layman language, please cheesy

Hello friends,
I need some advice here. I have some cash I’ll like to trade with for 3-6 months. Any suggestions on which stock might give best projected yield? Of course am aware there is always a risk and I can take some amount of reasonable risks (reasonable is the keyword here smiley).
Please help a bro.

Cheers.
If I could give a recommendation without being held accountable for the outcome of your own investment decision, I'd say Transcorp.

If these offers are truly for sale, what stops the seller from offering all the way to 95k. Am trying to place a handle on this but nothing to grip. At least I understood FO at a point but this one, mbok...
It's left to the seller to determine what he wants to sell, how he wants to sell it and at what price. grin

Your feed is wrong...
That's because he keeps using the "Market Orders>>By order" instead of the "Market Orders>> By price". The former shows order queue and is not updated real-time while the later shows order grouped according to price and in real-time

Dont be decieved by those diamond offers. They are fake. Some are just being repeated. Most(if not all) has since been filled. Somebody is busy loading the thing. Its been manipulated. Watch carefully and observe the deals, u will see that almost all of that offer has actually been filled.
Bros, Diamond bank is on full offer no two ways about it. What's the basis of this denial? Place a Buy mandate to see if it's fake. It is available for sale.

Why not Fidelityhuh
Upside potential not fundamentals was the consideration here, hence the 'speculative' tag.
It will be a 2yr high for Fidelity to return 20% at today's closing price of N1.35. FCMB closed at N1.03 even though there was supply volume at N1.02. A 20% gain is just a little over 60day high. Mr Market might not remember FCMB's result when there is a rally cheesy Where would you like to place your bet? huh

Why You Should Invest in Nigerian Stock Market Now
https://www.businesspost.ng/2017/10/05/invest-nigerian-stock-market-now/
I completely agree. First they said Oct 1 is dooms day, nothing happened. Then they said Naira was going to crash against the Dollar so we should brace for impact. Fortunately, Naira is still holding up with minor fluctuations. Crude is stable above $50 per barrel and production has hovered around 1.8m to 2m barrels per day(thanks to our brothers in the creeks). I don't know when the best time to buy is, if not now that equities have retraced/reversed (I no know book o) and we anticipate Q3 results. We are not where we would like to be yet but we are far from where we were in 2016 and Q1,2017. Prices of Rice, Tomato and Garri are yet to return to normal but have retraced considerably from previous highs. The pressure has reduced. FPI is on the increase. Inflation is trendind down. Consumer spending is increasing. I know debt is increasing but infrastructural spending is increasing too (I'll focus on the positive improvements for now tongue )

You know your investment objective, so plan and act accordingly. As for me and my house, we have taken position, we are taking position and would plan for any bear that might want to show up in Nov/Dec/Jan (or whenever).

My Delta Force comprises Transcorp, FBNH, DangFlour and FCMB/Diamond (for speculative reasons). Review is continuous. Investment horizon varies from 3wks to 1year.

I'll also be watching (ONLY) as things unfold with FO, MRS, M&B and Conoil.

If you like take my post as a recommendation without doing DD and yawa gas.........errr you may come and beat me, I go dey my house. cheesy
