ogbs2020love:Lol. I am more concerned about the utilization of the capital raised than I am about the outcome of the election. What went wrong? That Q2'15 result is woeful in every ramification for a bank that raised capital after Q2'14. |
Meanwhile, picked up my NPFMCRFBK dividend today. ![]() #Consolation |
passwelle:So Diamond bank rights issue was successfully completed with a 100% subscription rate and the bank still could not improve on its profitability yoy. Chai!!! Diamond shareholders, I hail una o. Una just sponsor governorship election come lose again. (Na joke o) ![]() NB: Bank was lucky to raise capital before the market downturn. Offer price was N5.80k |
Youngzedd:No bro, Zenith is not included. |
Youngzedd:FCMB, FBN and UBA ![]() |
Born2berich:Sadly the major stakeholders didn't deem it fit to carry us along. There was no press release stating timelines for the merger/acquisition. The market should be kept abreast of developments in the acquisition process. NSE, SEC, Vitafoam, Vono et al no try at all. So we go market one day come see say Vono no dey market again? Not done. ![]() NB: I don't own any stake in both companies. Just disappointed in the process. ![]() |
Processor01:True! A good penny stock. The profit margin was flat y-o-y though. Nevertheless, it's a good result from NPFMCRFBK. |
Agbalowomeri:Interested in just 2 stocks at this period: Oando at N11.5x (Hopefully, Oando isn't slipping away yet) Skye at N2.00 (better still, N1.99) Once target is achieved, regardless of either dipping below purchase cost, then I'm good. ![]() |
pythondjango:No vex. I think I will go with the piece of advice offered above. "lols" ![]() |
Moneysage:Hmm! I was just dumbfounded after the early morning ordeal of reading the post. |
pythondjango:SMH! ![]() |

Manonamission:Oando faithfuls might need to be strong in this period. The massive sell-off witnessed today might (will) continue tomorrow. The company reported a very very rare accident today. Previously, Oando prides itself on its 100% incident (accident) free operations. The news below is culled from bloomberg news. RIP to the dead and may the good Lord comfort the families of those involved. " Oando Energy Resources Reports Explosion at Tebidaba-Clough Creek Line in Bayelsa State, Nigeria PR Newswire CALGARY, Alberta, July 14, 2015 CALGARY, Alberta, July 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Oando Energy Resources Inc. Justcul:Actually, the closing price is what is referenced. It had an intra-day of N2.19 on the said day though. ![]() |
jideflash:Price manipulation going on there bro. Not even the Market maker type. |
Justcul:Transcorp just breached it's 52wks low. Not a buy recommendation just saying. Oando's turn tomorrow. |
zendi:I won't be surprised if it is not across board. Stanbic is private sector deposit dependent. The result might be a fallout of the CRR harmonization. Interest expense increased significantly probably due to fund pressure. However, H1 was tough for businesses/companies generally, so margins are expected to be trimmed for most banks. I no sabi book o. |
myjoy08:The result reflects the state of the Nigerian economy. It is well. |
angelo82:Give us the TA and FA for this assertion. I ain't feeling meritrade just yet. Is it about Meritrade or some newly introduced services? |
angrybull:No legal restrictions actually but volume restrictions at entry and exit prices. What kind of volumes are recorded at intra-day lows and highs? JIJO as far as mm millions are concerned might involve taking positions over a range of prices and/or days and exiting in similar fashion. My point is there is a marked difference in the kind of JIJO one does with mm millions and the type we refer to here. Remember JIJO is all about price. Not much flexibility in that price too. |
angrybull:JIJO - like the type we read/"hear" about here, where you JI at a particular price in a singular trade and JO in a similar fashion. Not to talk of extremes where you JI and JO in a single trade on the same day. Multi multi million "looks"/"sounds" like tens of millions. That's the interpretation on my mind. I don't think that would be possible. |
FrankTalk1:You can't trade with "multi-multi" millions in JIJO levels |
stokfrick:"Dude" is forbidden to him. |
cruzclinton1:Valueline Securities Investment Limited Aba office: 143 Azikiwe road, Aba, Abia State (08030825092) If your father died intestate (without a will), you might be on a long thing. You will need a lot of patience and perseverance. |
pythondjango: Manonamission: pythondjango:Bro keep it simple......It's obvious you are making good effort to improve your English vocabulary but to the detriment of the grammar (i.e rules that govern our words are stringed together). Keeping it simple and paying attention to the construction of your sentences ensures readers don't find your post a difficult read. Some already associating your style of writing to the influence of a popular brand of alcoholic drink from the stable of one of the company whose shares you are targeting (your price quotes lend credence to this belief.....na joke o )Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that you are putting to use words learnt in your study but simple and well constructed sentences will do a better job of conveying your thoughts to your audience. |
pythondjango:Perhaps, you can't continue like this. ![]() |

soloniger:A friend would have me believe this is a mathematical glitch Now, I want you to understand that the bolded is mathematically incorrect. Even with my little understanding of accounting, you don't add your cash in hand to what you owe. Rather, you deduct what you owe from what you have. There is NO missing 1k. ![]() So 1k - 98k = -97k is the appropriate equation in mathematics as well as accounting. I'll advice you JIJO smartly this week to pay up your 97k debt ( just kidding) |
ihedioramma:Locate any major transport company in Uyo. Board a bus going to Lagos. Alight at Ojota motor park. Board a bus from there to Obalende. From Obalende, board a bus to Awolowo road, Ikoyi. Alight at Keffi Junction (beside Total station). Ask for directions to N0 3, Biaduo street (it's off Keffi street). Talk one on one with them at online broker office. Follow same route back to Uyo. |
