PMB contested several times before he eventually become president of Nigeria
Lol. I am more concerned about the utilization of the capital raised than I am about the outcome of the election. What went wrong? That Q2'15 result is woeful in every ramification for a bank that raised capital after Q2'14.

Vono has been absorbed by vitafoam. They no longer exist.
Sadly the major stakeholders didn't deem it fit to carry us along. There was no press release stating timelines for the merger/acquisition. The market should be kept abreast of developments in the acquisition process. NSE, SEC, Vitafoam, Vono et al no try at all. So we go market one day come see say Vono no dey market again? Not done. huh

NB: I don't own any stake in both companies. grin Just disappointed in the process. undecided

True! A good penny stock. The profit margin was flat y-o-y though. Nevertheless, it's a good result from NPFMCRFBK.

Interested in just 2 stocks at this period:

Oando at N11.5x (Hopefully, Oando isn't slipping away yet)
Skye at N2.00 (better still, N1.99)

Once target is achieved, regardless of either dipping below purchase cost, then I'm good. cool

@pythondjango,its clear that as a patriotic citizen you wouldn't want ur currency lose value by rounds of devaluations exercise but the truth must be litted for all to see,and which is,when you as a country is structurally weak, fundamentally unsustainable, and has less to offer d intl market in terms of what to import to d rest of world aside oil and gas, infact which is refined outside d country. so ur economy cum currency value will suffer seriously and there is no need for "ego-playing" amidst our monetary and economic policy makers.I made bold to say that nigerian CBN governor is so demented for being so pretensive and ego playing in when there is a need for right thing to be done.Emefoolish is known to be ideally dumb and creative thinking dunce, while thinking that his doing connotes "good job done by his relunctance to swerve to right step taking" no apology for saying.I think this emefoolish should be relieved of his job because he would remain d nuisance and dumb egg oozes poisson to this nation's economic value in this buhari administration.

Oando faithfuls might need to be strong in this period. The massive sell-off witnessed today might (will) continue tomorrow. The company reported a very very rare accident today. Previously, Oando prides itself on its 100% incident (accident) free operations. The news below is culled from bloomberg news.

....as it has affected Stanbic. And we should remember this is the reason you are getting Fideliy at 1.60, Skye at near 2 etc. But let's wait and see the extent of the havoc on a few other banks.
I won't be surprised if it is not across board. Stanbic is private sector deposit dependent. The result might be a fallout of the CRR harmonization. Interest expense increased significantly probably due to fund pressure. However, H1 was tough for businesses/companies generally, so margins are expected to be trimmed for most banks. I no sabi book o.

you can jijo with multi multi millions as far as the volume can match your demand. I don't know of any legal restriction.
No legal restrictions actually but volume restrictions at entry and exit prices. What kind of volumes are recorded at intra-day lows and highs? JIJO as far as mm millions are concerned might involve taking positions over a range of prices and/or days and exiting in similar fashion. My point is there is a marked difference in the kind of JIJO one does with mm millions and the type we refer to here. Remember JIJO is all about price. Not much flexibility in that price too.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Manonamission:
angrybull:
Why can't you jijo with multi - multi millions?
JIJO - like the type we read/"hear" about here, where you JI at a particular price in a singular trade and JO in a similar fashion. Not to talk of extremes where you JI and JO in a single trade on the same day.

Multi multi million "looks"/"sounds" like tens of millions.

That's the interpretation on my mind. I don't think that would be possible.

I can't understand your scribble pls,pls make it explicit,thnks.
Bro keep it simple......It's obvious you are making good effort to improve your English vocabulary but to the detriment of the grammar (i.e rules that govern our words are stringed together).

Keeping it simple and paying attention to the construction of your sentences ensures readers don't find your post a difficult read. Some already associating your style of writing to the influence of a popular brand of alcoholic drink from the stable of one of the company whose shares you are targeting (your price quotes lend credence to this belief.....na joke o grin grin)

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that you are putting to use words learnt in your study but simple and well constructed sentences will do a better job of conveying your thoughts to your audience.

Pls solve this for me urgently.
Let's assume you
saw a laptop of 97K. You
didn't have the cash,
so you borrowed 50K from ur
mom and 50K
from ur dad = 100K. You
bought the laptop
which left you with 3K change.
You gave ur dad
1K and ur mum 1K and kept
the other 1K to
yourself. Now you owe your
mum 49K and ur
dad 49K. Now 49K+49K = 98K
+ ur 1K kept =

99K.Where is the missing 1K? Pls Solve it and tell me the answer....
A friend would have me believe this is a mathematical glitch cheesy cheesy Now, I want you to understand that the bolded is mathematically incorrect. Even with my little understanding of accounting, you don't add your cash in hand to what you owe. Rather, you deduct what you owe from what you have. There is NO missing 1k. tongue
So 1k - 98k = -97k is the appropriate equation in mathematics as well as accounting.
I'll advice you JIJO smartly this week to pay up your 97k debt cheesy cheesy ( just kidding)

Alight at Keffi Junction (beside Total station).
Ask for directions to N0 3, Biaduo street (it's off Keffi street).
Talk one on one with them at online broker office.
