myjoy08: Sir, concerning Skye bank, presently, they are far away from being considered for next move. I will advice you to wait for the stock to bottom out before taking a second look at it (That is, those men in black are presently not interested in the stock...lol) myjoy08: Skye Bank close on bid today with almost 13 Millions unfilled bids. So expect Skye (And other banking stocks) to be bullish for the rest of the week ahead of post-inauguration of new govt. Those Men in black have not been doing their DD |

Can someone tell us what he/she thinks the true worth of Skye bank is? Lay man's style: Well above them Sterling, Unity, Fidelity and just trailing FCMB (or above) and this is few months from now. |

cadno: Oga Moneysage, I deleted that post cos this was not the forum for it anyway, ok, see, in this day and age where Internet banking, Mobile wallet, ATM, etc, tell me the last time U had N50,000 cash on you, I cant remember when I had such cash on me. Not to say N10m in a bag at the airport. One of the reasons for such cash move is for bribery and the recipient does not want to be tracked, or some shady Business that bits the law enforcement agents. I know of some Bank ogas that awards projects to contactors with 20% on the award contract , do u expect him to claim such money by cheque ?, to be tracked in future ? Abeg be realistic So does it justify your appraisal of the honest act of this woman of integrity? I have no interest in condemning you because I am not qualified to, but you insulted the sensibility of this woman especially with your last sentence. You have chosen the path you wish to tread in life, please let her type be. Respect her conviction. Pardon me guys, no intention to derail thread |

Agbalowomeri: The problem with nigerians is that even our so called priests and Imams are condoned for having 'private linens'. Why should people be afraid to display their 'linens'? I would rather transact with Cadno than with the 'holy priests'.
#Moneysage; no be u I call holy priest o before u hammer me with 'theatrical diatribe' There is the "poor" woman, there is "Cadno" and there is the "holy priest". Of the 3, you would rather transact business with Cadno right? |

It will experience a reversal after reaching a peak, establish a support range until few days to the closure before the final bull run. Check Nahco and NPFMCRFBK just to name 2. |

myjoy08: Sir, i gave the headlight sometimes late last year to do your due diligence . Don't worry, one penny stock will leave car park soon. Just watch very carefully when the volume keep rising in terms of its bids. Do your due diligence ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Remember, information makes one money in NSE not fundamental alone. The penny stock might not be worth chasing except you know where it is headed. The bolded gives a clue. Bid is increasing on the stock but no volume. If I am not mistaken, the stock left car park already. @MyJoy, tell me I am wrong. |

See serious mopping on a single trade. These 2 posts should be related. I don't see a reason to look Transcorp's way though. Should I follow the money? |

Elai147: I think the potential impact of the acquisition on the bottom line will become more evident as from first or second quater of 2015. So the acquisition may not boost their trailing quarter reports for 2014, IMO. I think otherwise. I expect acquisition to positively impact the result for the year. Mainstreet bank had returned to profitability prior to the acquisition. The impact should be additive. I agree with you that it will become more evident in subsequent quarters of 2015 though. Immediate impact in 2014 audited should appear in the form of gross revenues, deposits and bottom line (to a remarkable extent). As I earlier indicated, this thought line informed my buying spree in the past weeks. Anyway, we await the result. Fingers crossed. |

passwelle: The price of any share (Afriprud inclusive) is determined by the forces of demand and supply and the bid and offer prices. If the demand exceeds supply it appreciates, provided the demand is at higher than previous closing price. If the supply exceeds the demand, and is offered at lower than closing price on previous day, it drops. When any market info is released on the NSE, I always bet against the "expected" impact of the news. Yeah. I expected demand to exceed supply after the good result except there's a detail I overlooked. |
