kolaaderin:How can you ask if he can read? That is a forgone conclusioncyberguy72: :Can't u read, its stated that all states benefited from bail out would be probed. The objective of the bail out is to pay salary and nothing else, and the FG reserve the right to probe how it was used and its even parts of term and conditions as signed by the various governors involved. |
Icecomrade: Icecomrade:So I put your piece here to give a proper perspective. 1. It is either you're trying to be cheeky, in denial or clearly not articulate to convey the thrust of your exceptions. Your clearing hitting many fronts and not specific, yet you sa 2. So let's even address issues you raised, either in isolation or all of it. First off, you alleged that Buhari wants to borrow to fund the 2016 budget in October. That is falsehood. From day one that the budget was proposed, the government has said that the deficit will be financed by both internal and external borrowings. I dare ask, was that not clear to you as at then and only became apparent in October? Or did you not know that when the proposed budget outweighs our projected income, the deficit will have to be financed? 3. You talk about timing of borrowing? I wonder what is wrong with borrowing at the time to get ourselves out of recession. We obviously have little or no option. If the previous government had not depleted the reserves with no credible explanation, will we not have a source to cussion the effect of recession and sharp oil price drop? 4. But much more importantly, how do you expect the government to recover the economy with the current state marked by delapidated infrastructures, abandoned projects, contractors owed in excess of three years, worsening power situation, embarrassing security capabilities, huge capital flight and many more? Do you think economy magically recovers in this quagmire if something drastic and radical is not done? 5. If your issues are the underline, then you have simple raised questions that are not intellectually stimulating, short of asking questions that the answers are already in the public domain. Even the FG stated in the request the quoted reason “Considering the huge infrastructure deficit currently being experienced in the country and the enormous financial resources required to fill the gap in the face of dwindling resources and the inability of our annual budgetary provisions to bridge the infrastructure deficit, it has become necessary to resort to prudent external borrowing to bridge the financing gap,”6. How much of the looted funds the government have recovered? What a question? Where were you when the FG officially published the figure through the office of the Minister of information? http://punchng.com/recovered-n78bn-loot-cant-revive-economy-lai-mohammed/. Besides you need to put into context the recovered looted funds. It is a process, it has to go through approval at the Senate before a kobo can be spent, which is even preceeded by the completion of court cases regarding the said funds. Simple submission.....you cannot plan on uncertainty 7. So my submission to you referring to Buhari as a confused tyrant, is that your ignorance on this issues are so apparent and it is an irony that you do not see |
VampireeM:Madam, Standard rules of engagement anywhere in the world - Once you use ammunition (Guns, Boy and Arrows etc) during riot, then the law enforcement reclassifies you as armed and they are legally permitted to quell such resistance with weapons i.e. kill those people. Even in UN peace keeping missions, once a civilian bear arms, he's reclassified as a militant, terrorist or opposition |
Seenyo:Bros, Nothing special will happen in 2019. If you bring someone who's not good enough, PMB will sail to second term. You better go and do your homework well |
holatin:Not so fast.... he shouldn't fvck off yet. I also need him to answer the question......Icecomrade: :y nt reply those 3 question but wait you dnt know cus u are extremely stupid and blinded by hate filled comment u read online. You know many people when found out, attempt to "smartly" evade questions that challenge their intellect and they have no answers..... @Icecomrade, over to you, pls do us a favor and at least attempt the follow questions 1. Why nt tell us what d money should be use for instead. |
richidinho:How did the government misinform the public on TSA? Unfortunately many Nigerians are crude in their reasoning and sees TSA as an untouchable saving account. |
eleojo23:Because the money cannot be spent until it has gone through appropriation process at the Senate, which takes a while |
Bolustic:Or who tells him he is deserving of living in Kano or deserving a Kano women in all realistic sense. Some people are just weirdly opinionated and overate themselvesBeehshorp: :So how does that affect the price of dollar? |
ymee:Me too |
SamuelAnyawu:And that can be more money for Burutai, cos We're at war and about 4-5 neighboring countries |
herzern1:And who plans the strategy? You think soldiers just "pick up ammunition and qo face Boko-Haram" ![]() |
Trybes:In addition, I hope you will not regret it when someone else picks her up and polishes her. Then she becomes one of the most successful women in the country....... You don't wanna go "that should have been the woman I should have married". Meanwhile sure your friends are not overated as well....... |
Luckygurl:In addition to this, OP, your problem is about the least you can have with a woman. If she's got good behaviour, respect, fear of God and really loves you, then you have little or no problem. Just like lucky girl said up here, start a journey of teaching her. Truth may be nobody has positively influenced her and this is your chance to do it. Trust me, you need a prayerful woman, who will take care of you and your children much more than one who will be "public certified". She loves Telemundo? that is a good place to start. She so much loves telemundo and zee world, the only concise narration she can give is the breakdown of an episode of zee worldI see from you write-up that she has a quality which many of us don't have, that is attention to detail. Turn that into strenght. For example she may turn out to be a fantastic writer of books or films of that genre. She may enroll in a film school (WAP in Oshodi, if you live in Lagos). Get her to start a blog. She may be involved in travels, and write stories about Finally, if this is the lady you want to spend the rest of your life with, the shield and protect her from the "fangs" of your "friends". This is your life at stake and not your friends' endorsement |
cekhoe:You are absolutely correct in this regard. If it is business and you're not married. Make it legal. I heard the story of a lady that dealt with a business-partner (suspect boyfriend) that had been cheating her in business deals in a jointly-owned (50-50) company. The lady got frustrated one day and went to clear the joint account they shared.... it took serious begging to reset the guy. If not that the lady "woke up"...... I know the extent guys are who are up to no good can go to. I know the story of a bank marketer-premium customer thingy that ended up in relationship, then marriage (the banker guy probably in his late 20s, the premium customer in her mid 40s). After a child came between them, the banker guy went AWOL one day, with huge sums of money........I told myself the guy had it all worked out from day 1. Even in my office, a lift operator once walked up to "toast" my female colleague (a single lady, nice car, ....). When my colleague reported the "travesty" to me, she was surprised at my answer........ that the guy simply expressed his feelings and anybody can toast anybody, the choice is yours to decline or otherwise"; but I knew deep down the guy was gunning to be a gigolo |
Chukazu:Bros, I think we should drop the arguement.....this is tending towards ethnic connotations. If you are not gonna be fact based, then am out |
cekhoe:1. Don't get me wrong. I agree with you a lot. 2. It is very dangerous for a lady to fork out money for a guy you're not sure is committed. It is also relatively easier to know a gold digger when you're dating one, the problem is that infatuation makes us to live in denial. Meanwhile beyond a certain point, couples will then learn to share (risky still, but that is more like giving to the relationship. 3. Some ladies are so disciplined and pragmatic that they won't even take your money. I had a fight with my girl-friend (now wifey), when she kept saying I am not her father but her boy-friend, so I shouldn't be giving her money. I almost went bunkers one day 4. Some guys are also irredeemably stingy....... |
Chukazu:1. You can't be serious.....ask Shareholders to inject more funds into banks where their initial funds was mismanaged? I think you need to go back and listen to cases of people who developed health issues when their funds were trapped in failed banks. Sanusi went about it the way Y'Ardua sanctioned. 2. Soludo was not totally sincere. Soludo was asked at the FEC meeting about the health of the banks and he surreptitiously affirmed they were in good state when they were not. Yes, his policies turned some of the banks into Mega banks, but also he needed to be forthright and tell us that only 5 banks were healthy |
cekhoe:What do I know......but the bolded is right a lot of times, especially the predator guys of nowadays........but some babes too selfish |
lestat:Na yabis dem take born some of una ![]() |
Smellymouth:JeffreyJamez: :Walahi, you took the words outta my mouth.. ![]() Sir JeffreyJamez, you wookeeeeddddd ooooo!!!!!! ![]() |
bejeria101:I'm ok with you taking your "preferred position", but let's keep to facts. Fact is that Y'Ardua gave SLS an assignment to assess the "health" of the banks, and he discovered that those banks in question were very sick. That was not SLS doing, the banks did themselves in. The greed was on their part |
Chigold101:Bros, If you are a Christian, then be reminded of the commandment - "You should not bear false witness". Your position that those banks were "taken" because they were spreading the gospel is a lie from the pit of hell. It is better you state this as your uninformed opinion, than to say things that are factually incorrect and misrepresentation. Segun Adeniyi's book - "Power, Politics and Death" dedicated a whole Chapter to the story. Besides, didn't Cecilia Ibru plead guilty in one of the cases? https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/36020/1/cecilia-ibru-pleads-guilty-convicted-sentenced-for.html was that part of "spread of the gospel"? |
bejeria101:Ok, let's not get too emotional and start spewing falsehood 1. SLS sacked those MDs and took those banks because they were culpable and mostly guilty 2. They had misstated their balance sheets and declared false records 3. They used shareholders's funds to purse other private businesses But on the other side There is a version that AIG was the back-stabber that SLS used to implicate Akingbola................that Akingbola made AIG, unfortunately AIG back-stabbed him |
Chigold101:Back in B'skull in 08/09 when we reviewed the banking sector, I was shocked when we were informed that Unity Bank had no published financials for the past 7years. |
OKorowanta:I heard that side of the story too....and from a trusted source. My take is that, SLS could have exploited the situation........but bankers during those days were way too carefree and did what they liked at the expense of shareholders |
Bolustic:1. SLS has no hold on CBN anymore, so there's nothing he can do. What has Saraki got to do with Intercontinental Bank or Akingbola........Even Saraki's "hand-cuffs" are awaiting him as he plundered Shareholders funds in their family bank 2. Some of these cases are won on technicalities. If Jim Nwobodo could recover "Savannah Bank" now "Heritage Bank" after a decade+, then Akingbola stands a chance 3. I think CBN could have overlooked some of the complicated aspects of agreements while they allowed the Access Bank deal to go through |
Aikon:Worrrrrrrrrrrdddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!! Back in my early days, I had once been burned and became wiser. Choi!!! My oga back then dealt with me....... I was saved by my talent and hardwork, when God used our director, who identified me as talented and put me in a newly formed department. In this department, I had become wiser, played my cards pretty well, helped my new boss alot........he got reward while I was on the blind side, but I didn't mind, as I was enjoying my work and building my arsenal. Today is another story........I think I do a piece on this some time |
divide9ja:You conveniently for got to add this piece, I will imagine.... "The Kogi State Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Hadi Ametuo has refuted reports that he appealed to Kogi State citizens to elect his party’s gubernatorial candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu, to enable him (Audu) return to the state, the N11 billion allegedly embezzled by the former governor while in office............ Ametuo, who was said to have made the appeal while addressing newsmen after the Eid el-Kabir 2015 prayers, described the report as the desperation of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), adding that the cheap propaganda has exposed their weakness. Read more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/kogi-gov-i-never-said-audu-ll-return-alleged-11bn-loot-if-voted-apc-chairman/........" |
