OMG!!! What kind of a clueless government is this? You invite so called experts to fine tune a 3 year national economic plan without calling seasoned professionals!
On opening this thread, i had to ask myself questions like please where is Pat Utomi, Henry Boyo, Ifeanyi Ubah amongst others? undecided
This is a joke right?

Let me see "......Due to the inability of his parents to cater for the educational and material needs of their needs, Ifeanyi dropped out of Okongwu Memorial Grammar School, Nnewi, Anambra State to learn trade at a young age." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ifeanyi_Ubah

The appeal court judge want to spoil egunje market for KAI and lagos state government. They made so much money from this illegality. In 2006 the former governor, bola tinubu used this environmental sanitation to extort money from people. His local government employeets would go about arresting people who flouted the last Saturday's sanitation stay at home order. If those arrested couldn't bribe #2k each to bail themselves, they would end up in a magistrate Court where the judge would pronounced them guilty at once and they would be taken to kirikiri prison where they would spend 1 month.

I hope the road leading to that hospital is paved and well tarred because I just came from Benin and the roads are nothing to write anything about. Erosion is killing that state and no end in sight. Whatever Comely roads Adams built the first tenure have started to decay with little or no maintenance. The whole is Benin was so dark because the streetlights were either not working or no fuel. The so called GRA is an eyesore.

BTW, what happened to the shoprite that had Edo people heralding way back then?
If you really just came from Benin, you wouldn't be 'hoping' the road to the hospital is tarred.
The Benin central hospital (old & new building) is located on a major federal road that connects Edo state to the rest of the Niger-Delta.

The rest of your post is filled with lies.

obailala:
Infrastructural Projects ($18.3 billion)

- Mambilla Hydro Electric Power Project ($4.8 billion)

- Lagos to Calabar Coastal Railway Project: Calabar to Port-Harcourt Segment ($3.5 billion)

- Lagos-Kano Railway Project: Lagos to Ibadan Segment ($1.3 billion)

- Lagos-Kano Railway Project: Kano to Kaduna Segment ($1.1 billion)

- Abuja Mass Transit Rail Project Phase 2 ($1.6 billion)

Balance of $11 billion Breakdown

- Eurobond ($4.5 billion),

- Federal Government Budget Support ($3.5 billion)

- Social Support for Education and Health ($2.2 billion)

- Agriculture ($1.2 billion)

- Economic Management and Statistics ($200 million).

Another needless thread to wail endlessly; the slavery is all in the mind and many have taken to wailing as hobby.

A very quick look through the list shows the projects are purely projects that benefit Nigeria as a whole, but to some, every single thing must be sectionalised for it to make sense to them. One begins to wonder whether the 3000mw of electricity that would be produced from the all important Mambilla dam project will be distributed only in Taraba state. One also begins to wonder whether the all important Calabar to Lagos Rail would not also be used by Nigerians of south eastern origins. Meanwhile this rail connects the Calabar Seaport and the Onne Seaport in Port-Harcourt and the rail goes through the industrial city of Aba; I never knew Aba had been erased from the South-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Or maybe, when it isn't convenient for wailing purposes, Aba can be regarded as South-South.

Anyway, if wailers don't wail, who will?.. Nonsense!
Bros,

It is a case of idiocy multiplying and propagating at a surprising pace. I mean, how on earth could people be willfully daft? but I believe we shouldn't give up on daft wailers after all. Even the useless Authority took the jaundiced reportage off their website

Won't stop the usual suspects from bellyaching over this...

I laugh for belle when they rant and rave about how oil is no longer a big deal.. Really? Oil is a dud & the west stay destabilising the middle east/OPEC countries/anything energy related in order to control /force the price /ensure prices stay down?

Oyinbo and their lie lie alternatives have not found a solution to oil & gas dependency but they keep sustaining their campaign of lie & deceit which some are foolish enough to align with...

P.S... I know some will trawl the interweb for points to discredit this assertion, I welcome it, just keep it civil & sensible/verifiable, don't just pull crap outta ya asses, like Germany & Switzerland being landlocked and devoid of mineral deposits.

Switzerland has more than a quarter of the funds of numerous countries domiciled with them (illicit and untraceable mostly), they have no choice but to thrive, as for Germany, their machines will run on water nah. cool

Politics › Re: North East Development Commission Bill: An Unpatriotic And Unfortunate Bill by mapet: 8:52am On Oct 26, 2016
bejeiodus:
First, have you been to the Northeast to have firsthand experience of the destruction wrought by Boko Haram?

Second, why are you against this patriotic act of lending a hand in rebuilding the Northeast? Shouldn't we be our brothers' keeper?

Third, the bill will definitely sail through in the lower house. The honourable members are guided by facts, not hatred and tribalism.

The Southern senators who voted in favour of the bill are citizens who identify with the dire situation the people of the Northeast find themselves. Whether the armed group was allowed to fester by the elite or not won't rebuild schools, fight the scourge of war nor provide nutrient to highly malnourished children. The people of the Northeast have suffered enough. They need empathy, Tonye, not scorn and sneer.

By the way, other regions can agitate for a development commission if they have the political weight to pull it through.

People are very gullible and most easy to deceive. Do you know thst N1.50 was added to every litre of pms for road maintenance with the promise that if we allowed it,there would be no single pot hole on the road.
Many of you are really naive.
Bros,

Google is your friend. Stop putting outdated, wrong and false information in the public space

But according to the PPPRA’s pricing template, the cost elements include cost/freight, N109.01; lightering expenses, N4.56; Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) charges, N0.84; NIMASA charges, N0.22; financing, N2.51; jetty thru’put charges, N0.60 and storage charge, N2.00, which brings the landing cost to N119.74.

The landing cost is added to distribution margins, which are retailers, N6.00; transporters allowance, N3.36; dealers, N2.36; bridging fund, N6.20; marine transport average, N0.15; and admin charges, N18.37, bringing the total distribution charges to N18.37.

According to the PPPRA, the addition of the landing cost of N119.74 to total distribution margins of N18.37 gives a total cost of N138.11 per litre, putting the price at between N135 and N145.
