When we talk of road networks, some think Its all about posting pictures of roads, we talking about the linkage of one road to another for easy movement, and again Enugu is not given it's rightful position...someone needs to visit there and see what road network means, I've not been to Uyo so I can't compare both yet. |
The problem is the system of Government Nigeria is practicing, we claim to practice federalism which costs alot to sustain, most of these countries practice Unitarianism including Ghana, Britain, Switzerland and the rest. Our major problem is the tribal and cultural differences, we are too voluminous to be merged as one country, as someone had earlier stated, we want to copy US that has gone far in both human and technological development in practicing Democracy which cost alot to sustain. Also, our leaders in the helm of affairs aren't helping matters, they keep looting the economic resources and practising sectional politics, so tell me why the development rate won't be slow? Again for those saying the size of the country is not a factor, I need u all to go back to your map, tho our major problem is the tribal, religious and ethnic differences we have here, compare it with foreign nations some of u are calling and u would understand why we are lagging behind. Ghana gained independence in 1957, so considering how homogeneous and small the country is compared to Nigeria, their rate of development is even slow without any civil war like we faced. Deal with that! |
Abeg who the hear from our ex V.P Namadi Sambo? |
Little wonder.... I didn't say anything o! |
So it has gotten to this stage where such things are now publicized? am not in for any religion shit, buh at least for the sake of morality! |
Akwa ibom anya ya...I can't wait to visit this place! |
Firstly, he went on vacation, secondly, he is waiting to collect the results of tests he conducted, and now he is not in any hospital... oga lie lie Mohammed, u don't do propaganda or play party politics with peoples health.. keep spilling rubbish and giving the Nigerian media news to publish each day.. For me, I give no f***k if he is dead or alive, his presence or absence still makes no difference to me. |
coolitempa:They are in the SW selling gala to survive today, but by tomorrow when see them in big rides and many acquired properties after their hard works had finally payed off, u say it's blood money...these people are too smart to be with shallow minded people like u guys! Deal with that.. |
Some people are very daft to say the least, u keep comparing the whole of Nigeria to one developed city in a country, why not show us other places? or u think the whole country looks like that? my problem with most of them is that they don't even travel, they keep thinking Nigeria is the worst due to what they see and hear, some of u need to visit these African countries u compare with Nigeria and u would know some countries are still in the suffering dark. Kenya is developing, buh comparing it with Nigeria? Hell No! I would rather u compare Lagos or Abuja with Nairobi and not calling Kenya, there after u start posting pictures from Nairobi alone... some would just jump to criticize Nigeria at the slightest mention. #SMH for una |
Going by the happenings in the country, I think it is crystal clear that the 'one Nigeria' mantra exists only on the map. All I see in reality is division, segregation and the likes. we keep hearing of bombing everyday in the north. In my opinion, I think hence we can no longer stand as one, let the country be divided so everybody can go their respective ways...shikina! |
Good day all.. I had been a visitor to this forum for some years before I finally decided to open an account this year, and so this would be my first post. Am currently an undergraduate in one of Nigeria's prestigious University. Going by what I had seen and been hearing, it is obvious and without doubts that there are no, or very few available jobs in Nigeria, and our tertiary institutions keeps bringing out thousands of graduates on yearly basis. As Nigerians, our primary aim of going to school is to graduate, get something doing, and become self sufficient, (don't tell me knowledge cos we won't eat knowledge), buh with this current state of the Nigerian's economy, where most graduates even with good results can't find something doing after the sufferings one passes through in school, I get discouraged. A times when I open my books to read and begin to reflect on all these, I close them back and sit thinking. Nowadays u see people with no educational qualifications doing well, while their other counterparts who studied tooth and nail are left with nofin. some even go as far as acquiring many degrees just to see if they can be fit buh all to no avail. This whole things has got me thinking, its even affecting my reading habit as the day goes by, little wonder some after graduating, go into entrepreneurship which they see as the last resort, I don't know if am the only one thinking about all these, what then is the need of going to school in Nigeria? I need advice, suggestions and contributions from both graduates, undergraduates and experienced people as this would go a long way in trying to solve some of our economic problems... |
Am 6.7ft tall, and I dislike tall girls, I like them average..walking with a tall girl to me is very unromantic. |
At 26 i...buh what where u even thinking before? that u still a small boy? |
So because Bovi is a comedian cum celebrity, he wouldn't have a personal life again, everything he is doing must be to please the general public huh? some of u need divine intervention.. |
It is not impossible, tho wont be easy, buh I think the members of the press have a great role to play in achieving your lofty plans.. |
"power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely"... at least I know one can't try this in Nigeria during this civilian rule were the citizens are politically enlightened... receive sense Mr Jameh! |
KINGwax007:A times I wonder how some people reason, could there be any justification for lacking intuition or common sense at it's minimum? |
