kunzaar83: the biggest looser in nigeria democracy is tinibu... He thought nigeria is lagos state, where he's a local champ, yes he succeeded in putting a vp bt that vp is not more than a comisioner PMB is not a fool that he'll give him little chance coz he's tinibu's eyes there..... His only function is to represent PMB in bomb last sceens, IDP camps, and alikes he has no power to take any decision no matter how small...... I really love the way tinibu is dealt with by Sen president Saraki and Speaker Dogara..... He hnas been silenced by them... He's not even seen the worst yet.. Until Buhari's Ministers are named....... Let me assure u tinibu is only influential within lagos.. In Abuja he's zero he can't influence any 1, as far as power is concerned in PMB's govt the most powerful are Buhari, Saraki, Dogara, Ekweremadu and Lasun..... Take it or leave it osinbaja is not more than a lagos comisioner I dnt like typing much but ur comment made me laf out very loud. That Lasun u mentioned can not sit in d same room wit Tinubu because he sees it as disrespecful. For ur information, Lasun is an errand boy to Tinubu, infact, I dnt knw hw to rate Lasun in Tinubu's book; he is lesser than an errand boy. Dogara is under Tinubu too if u dnt know. U said Tinubu wl b shamed by d time Buhari appoints his ministers, well I dnt understnd wat u mean here but if u v been following d issue of cabinet formation, u wl read Buhari's comment abt 2 wks ago that APC only has two blocs for ministerial appointment and he named them as Buhari's bloc and Tinubu bloc. He said it categorically that d south west bloc is for Tinubu but begged him 2 consider OBJ candidates. Mind u, d bloc reffered to by mr president is North n South. Buhari handles d N/west n cn stil influence who emerge frm d remaining 2 zones in d north; dsaame thing is applicable to Tinubu. So, y ar u saying that Tinubu is nt relevant in Nigeria politics. Wit wat is goin on at d senate now, u wl knw that SP days ar numbered,Lawan who is Tinubu candidate wl stil com n lead d senate |

emmyrichie: If he can represent Lagos st at the federal level, why can't he do that in Kogi state.
Common sense is not actually common as it seems. You need it. See, d reason he represents Lagos at d fed constituency is because he has stayed in Lagos all his life and since politics is a game of number, wat do u expect him to do. It is only in Lagos he has followers but, in d case of dep gov post, he was choosing not voted, even if he has no supporters in Kogi, he can stil ride on d popularity of his boss, d APC flagbearer. I op u understnd d point am trying to make |

U shld knw hw to use ur words effectively because there is no way he wil assume d post of a Gov/ dep gov in lagos state except in his own state which is Kogi |

DONSMITH123: Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the abduction of Chief Olu Falae.
The former Secretary to the Federal Government was abducted on Monday by suspected herdsmen at his farm, about 15 kilometers to his residence along Oba-Ile road, Akure, the state capital. Fani-Kayode in a statemet said “The abduction of Chief Olu Falae is not only unacceptable but it also an exceptionally dangerous development.”
“I say this because he is not only an elder-statesman of our country but he is also one of the most revered leaders of Afenifere and the south-west.
“We cannot sit by idly and watch our leaders and elders being endangered, shamed and humiliated in this way. It is the governments job to keep us all safe and secure and they are failing in that duty.
“I call on the President and our security agencies to effect the expeditious and immediate release of Chief Olu Falae. They must rescue him from these vagabonds and vandals as soon as possible before things get out of hand.
“Let it be clearly understood that if anything happens to him and if he doesn’t come home hale and hearty, we will hold the Federal Government responsible and there will be consequences.
“Those that are in power would do well to take what I have said very seriously,” he added.

xpat1: I can bet it with my last kibosh that nothing will eventually happen to Bukola Saraki at the end of the day, he will still continue to be the Senate president and Tinubu, Akande , lai Muhammed et al will still continue to find ways to tame him... Till 2019
What people don't really know about Bukola Saraki Include
1.He is the first child of the former Senate majority leader Dr Olusola Saraki. He has gone through his father's political tutelage and he understand the intricacies of Nigeria politics
2.He was the last 'successful' chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum he knows how to playp Nigeria politics well! Well!! base on his experience
3.Though a medical doctor by training, he comes from a state where virtually every elite in that state is a lawyer... Kwara state has the highest concentration of legal practitioners in Nigeria (Wikipedia is your friend) So they know how to rap with the laws. That is why CCB will just shout and shout the man will still continue to be the Senate president. .. Even the emir of the state is a former justice of Nigeria
4.There are thousands upon thousands of Alfas in Kwara state.. So forget any issue of spirituality that might go against Bukola Saraki majority of the Alfas in that state are in his support.
5. Bukola Saraki has so much court connection within and outside Nigeria. Every captain of industries in Nigeria are his loyal friends, most of the emirs, Obis, Kings and Obas in the country are his friend.
This man remain unshakable except God himself wants to remove him...
Front page pls let's hear people's opinion 1. Saraki did nt learn anything frm his late dad, he was picked up in London to com and rule Kwara State because of d problem his father was having wit d then governor, late Mohamed Lawal. Saraki refuse to take any advice frm his dad after he bcame Gov. Pple of d state even frowned at his inexperience then. 2. D kind of politics he played wen he ws chairman, governors forum is quite different frm d one he is playing now as a senator. 3.Even let d whole of Kwara State indigene b Lawyers, wat do u think they cn do in this case. Y cnt u ask ursef y everybody is keeping mute abt this issue or dnt u observe nobody is making comments including his main allies in d senate? 4.Thank God u said majority of d Alfas are behind him and not all d alfas. D issue is dat, d remaining Alfas wil work wit d rest of Nigerians to push d SP out. 5. If actually he has d support of d majority as u said then, y are they not talking. Y won't they com out openly and condemn d whole thing. If sombody like Dino Melaye and Ayo Fayose cn fold their hands then knw that d end has com |
