Seriously? If your child told you that she believes in the Hindu god, not Allah, because you can't provide any evidence that the Hindu god does not exist, what would you say? When someone makes a claim that a religious god exists, the burden of proof lies on that person to provide proof and evidence of the existence not the atheist. If the person can't or the proof provided is not reasonable, then there is no reason to accept such. What are the irrefutable evidences of the existence of Allah? Muhammad told you that angel Gabriel visited him and gave him a revelation, how do you Muhammad wasn't lying?

First and foremost, you are a slowpoke. How many Holy Books are there? How do these Holy books define marriage? whats acceptable to them and what's not? Compare and contrast the various teachings and then you would see why I said Teaching and Polygamy is open to interpretation.

Even still, there many holy books does not mean all are open to interpretation because all holy books have their intended meaning. So nothing is open to interpretation, it either you take it as it is or not.

Where do you stand? You said many wives are your god given rights , which of the gods? You can't tell me you stand with one religion and accommodate/support the doctrines of another religion. So it's your god given right, which God and of what religion?

You said it's your god given right and you quoted the bible to support your view then someone asked for clarity and you started talking about the views of other religion. Where do you stand? If you stand on one, you won't be talking about other religion because your holy book would be what you need and others would be wrong where they contradict your holy book. What religion do you stand in to say it's your god given right to have many wives?

If six persons come up with six different interpretations of a passage in a holy book, it doesn't mean all six interpretations should be considered legitimate for each of the owners of their corresponding interpretation because a holy book communicates one meaning. In reality, either five are wrong and one is correct or all are wrong.

The bible is not hard or ambiguous to understand if one is honest with oneself(which you are probably not). You should read your Bible very well because if you did, you would know that the verse you brought wasn't establishing or proclaiming a man's right to have more than one wife. If you read the whole chapter, it spells of the forthcoming hard times for the children of god because of their sins. That verse was describing how hard it will be for women and how desperate they would be to get a husband such that they wouldn't care if the husband provided for them or not. Please, read your bible and be clear on it's meaning rather than picking interpretations that suits you. Such unserious mindset will ensure that the shackles of religion(magical thinking) will continously enslave you

It's in the nature of human beings to come up with defensive excuses/arguments or rationalisation when they are like doing something wrong or inappropriate. These explainations are nonsensical if you can think them through and there are many of them but I will focus on the excuse given by men who cheat on their girlfriend or wife. Their excuse is "men are wired to be polygamous." As a man, I say this is complete nonsense and ridiculous garbage and no woman should fall for such excuse.

To cheat is a decision. If men are wired to be polygamous, what about those that are faithful to their wife over the years? Don't they like sex with other chicks too. To cheat is a choice because in the face temptation, you can choose to say no, before you were born, men have been declining sexual temptations and will continue to do so. If you cheat on your wife, it means you don't respect or love her. Being in a relationship or being married comes with making sacrifices and if you really love your spouse, those sacrifices wouldn't be a problem or hard to keep because you really love and respect your spouse. You can't be hurting who you claim to love and respect. Any man that cheats is being wicked because you are bringing to nothing all the emotional and physical investment and sacrifices your wife has made for the marriage over the years, you are hurting her and making her live a lie *spits* Besides when a man gives the nonsensical excuse "men are wired to be polygamous", you degrade your spouse to be a fool you can take for a ride because only a fool would believe such explanation and you further disrespect her because you are trying to normalise your disrespectful and hurtful habit of cheating.
