abduljabbar4:Why socialism? |
Chai! The glory days of English football is gone. Back then, Pochettino wouldn't even smell the managerial post of any top flight team. Now we have small boys playing rubbish and collecting huge cash in big epl teams every week. The standard has fallen. The only hope for English football now lies with Liverpool and Man City. The others are struggling to beat small teams. They can't even do very well in the champions league against the small teams from other leagues. SMH. |

9) ECONOMIC COLLAPSE, POVERTY, OPPRESSION AND STARVATION : *) Who would want to be a doctor? Why go through the stress of medical school and specialising in any field of medicine when you can just sit down at home and get equally paid? With this, the medical field will eventually collapse in a socialist state and hospitals would be nothing to write home about. Even if the socialists leaders are transparent enough to fund hospitals, no one would be willing to be a doctor. Why would many want to go through the stress of teaching, going to school, getting a masters or PhD when they can just sit down at home and get free stuffs. With this, the educational system will collapse. In fact no one would want to work except do the basic necessary things to survive. *) Since people would stop working since they are getting free stuffs, who is going to generate money? What happens when everyone runs out on other people's money? You get poverty and starvation. The state might not even care since they own everything and are well to do so they may ignore the people's need and there's nothing the people can do about that. Even if they wanted to provide, who is willing to work? The lazy government or the lazy people? Even if the government forced people, will they risk a rebellion or will they get what they want given that the people have no skills? *) As I have explained, the state has absolute power without checks and they are everyone's hope of survival hence the room to abuse human rights and oppression of the people with impunity.

8] ABUSE AND IMMORALITY FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOOD OF THE PEOPLE : Since socialism is supposedly proposed as the solution to world problems in a capitalist state and is meant to serve the needs of the people, socialist leaders may get involved in immoral acts like the purge, human rights abuse etc. all in the name of working for the good of the people. There is nothing anyone can do since absolute power, without checks, is given to the state. Besides, you wouldn't want to upset the state because you depend on them and wouldn't want to be at the receiving end of their any immoral act of theirs.
|
7) IT ENCOURAGES DEPENDANCE ON THE STATE BY TREATING CITIZENS AS CHILDREN : When people are entitled to get free stuffs and free stuffs are given to them, they become heavily dependent on the source of their free stuffs. Naturally, many would drop their handiwork and profession since they get free stuffs and are entitled to free stuffs. Just like children don't work because they depend on their parents, they won't work because the state would provide their basic needs.
|
6) IT PREACHES OBEDIENCE TO THE STATE : Well, the state is in charge, they control everything and therefore you have to submit to the state. Do what the state what's, even surrendering your freedom, so things would be okay. Remember what I said about giving absolute power, without checks, to a few set of people?
|
5) IT REWARDS INDOLENCE : Well, those who don't work shouldn't earn, right? Not in a socialist state. Wealth will be equally distributed whether you work or not. So just be lazy and do nothing, money will still be given to you.
|
4) IT PENALISES ACCOMPLISHMENT : in a capitalist economy, when you work hard to get $2m, the money is yours, you get to keep it and no one is entitled to your money. In a socialist state, what you earn belongs to the state and would be equally distributed to others, that's if the government is transparent in it's socialism otherwise they would pocket it and neglect the people and there is nothing anyone can do since the government has absolute power. Is it justified for you to work and have your salary distributed equally to others?
|
3) IT IDEALIZES STATE POWER : Well, that is socialism. Given that human beings are corrupt, giving a set of people absolute power without checks leads to totalitarianism, corruption, negligence of the people and abuse of human rights by the authorities with impunity.
|
2) IT RATIONALIZES THEFT : the arm robber in a socialist economy would forcefully collect what you own all in the name of the state owning everything and wealth being equally distributed. The arm robber has good reasons or shall I say excuses to take from you and may even abuse the privilege to leaving you with nothing.
|
A lot of people think socialism is the solution to the world's problem in capitalist economies. While I might not be able to argue with die hard socialists just as I can't argue with a creationist, I would just list the dangers of socialism and why it is terrible. 1) IT NORMALISES ENVY : naturally, human beings are envious of those (especially their mates) that are more successful and instead of curbing the envy of the poor towards the rich, it gives room for the envious to take from the successful and share amongst themselves with impunity.

NdiaraIGBO:You are lucky to even find out. Some men don't get to find out until the wife has completed everything. At least, you have little experience and you know that the thing they pain body. By the way, why do you think your wife was trying to do that? Why do women do this? |
solasoulmusic:This illusion of yours is really dangerous. What are the sound evidences that suggest God exist? |
NdiaraIGBO:Abi. Another thing men need to stop doing is training girls through school in hopes that they would marry them later. Many of these girls don't fulfil their promise. A word is enough for the wise. |
What a stupid question. Mark Zuckerberg did his wedding in his back yard with just his wife and a priest. Where is it written that your wedding must be a big room? When the time comes you can do a simple court wedding. People sef. ![]() |
I have heard all the points given to explain why people do this. On a closer look, I would say that nothing justifies giving birth to children that you can't take care of as long as there are the choices to hold yourself and not fvck. Reality and rationality must always be above feelings. |
A lot of boys are condemning the man easily. Let it happen to you, e go pain you pass anything. Think about the following steps : 1) You work so hard for many years to provide for your wife and son and shower them love to make them happy. 2) You could have been a millionaire but you channelled the money to your family leaving you with little or nothing every month. 3) Your wife refused to contribute and invest her own money into the family for everyone's upkeep but instead hid the money from you and built a house secretly. Despite the fact that both of you are one, she didn't tell you. 4) She left you out like you are some property that has outlived it's useful and signed only the names of herself and her son. If this dehumanisation is not enough to make you bleed with rage then you are one of a kind. |
jaszplus12:As in. ![]() |
ogbonti:No. The woman should have told the husband about the house. Both of them are one and to keep such thing away from the man is painful. Imagine having to work all day providing for your wife and trying to make her happy yet she hid money from you to build a house that is meant for her and her son. Why leave out the husband? Why leave him out like he is some villain or something? What the wife did is just use her husband like a mere property. Do you think the husband doesn't like to build a house too? Of course he does but he channelled his money to his family and can't even lay a foundation with what's left only for the wife to hide money and build a house for her and her son. The wife, if she's a good wife, should have invested her money in the upkeep of the entire family. Why leave out a man that has been providing for so long and taking care of you? What she did was very dehumanising. Imagine someone leeching off you for years and casting you aside when they no longer need you and have achieved their goal. It's painful especially when they leave you with nothing. This is very very bad. If my wife did this to me, I would shoot her. |
sweetrace:Lol. God issue aside. Anyway, nothing justifies the act of giving birth to children that one can't take care of as long as there is always the choice of closing one's legs or zipping up one's trousers. The idea of children as luxury is an absurd rationalisation of this act. |
ceeroh:I thought he meant this one. ![]()
